Ah yes. Boys and girls famously have very distinctly different childhoods, and only girls watch Disney movies. When I was a kid, I didn’t wait up by my grandpas mailbox for the beauty and the beast VHS. I was actually waiting for the annual edition of painsluts vol 9

Yeah I was gonna say. Not only are they acknowledging the prejudice, they’re rejoicing in it. Like another commenter said, similar to white supremacy.

I think people who equate the manosphere with men’s rights are malicious actors, generally people opposed to men’s rights already. I’d be willing to bet that the majority of the people in this sub, or [r/leftwingmaleadvocates](r/leftwingmaleadvocates), have never watched an Andrew Tate video in their life. Sorry, kind of unrelated to your post but just adding my thought.

Women have a much higher in group bias so being feminist allows you to naturally exert your conservative principles while still fitting in with your progressive friend group. Like a dog whistle to let everyone know exactly what your worldviews are, you don’t believe in nasty, racist, deportation; the brown man is more than welcome to come clean your pool. You’re progressive.

Incels and femcels both exist, but I agree it’s overused. I think ‘femcel’ wouldn’t be necessary cause technically ‘incel’ is gender neutral, but mostly everyone already associates it with men anyways due to women overusing it, making ‘femcel’ necessary. But yeah besides that I agree it’s overused anyways.

Idk I could see it. There’s people out there with this much hate for women, or black people, or anything. Why not little boys too? Even if it was a troll… they’re getting upvoted and the (not really?) reasonable take is downvoted. Direct reflection of our society

Religion and feminism both have a strict caste hierarchy for men. Trading one evil for another. I have myself, my rights and my freedoms. That’s good enough. Religious? Great! Don’t stomp on others rights. Non religious? Great! Don’t stomp on others rights.

Victim blaming to add on to that. You better share those dms with her cause she just can’t believe it but also believe all women.

We have to acknowledge something is wrong with the boys… but instead of being positive, we need to tell them it’s THEIR fault. Even the extremely young ones!

Feminism losing popular support because pop feminists (and even hardcore practicing academics) are starting to be seen as violently sexist and regressive: Men’s fault

It’s simply not possible for men to be victims to people who subscribe to feminist dogma. Theyre categorized separately in the brain the same way one might perceive a different species or inferior human. Women are dehumanized too, but with men it’s complete erasure. Even if people say they understand, they are inherently and unconsciously unsympathetic to men unless it can be framed in a way that prioritizes women first.

Agree with this. Anytime I’ve heard ‘emotional labor’ I immediately know that person, whether friend or partner, is going to be exhausting and probably make everything about themselves and how hard their lives are. It’s like a litmus test on who possesses the personality traits to take responsibility and control of their lives.
/r/EverydayMisandry13/07/26 11:35 PM
8

Just the consequences of quantifying and capitalizing every aspect of our human lives. If living with your best friend is always emotional labor to you, then you don’t know what love feels like, and never will. I don’t pity them cause they’re ultimately just deranged people that push gender war rage bait. But at least I know I have something more pure than they can even comprehend.

Surely men kill themselves en masse to punish women, right? How do you even have this kind of logic? And better yet why do other women go along with it like you aren’t completely re*arded??

Just never date these kinds of women. The lonely angry 35+ yo woman w/ her cats is still a very alive trope and stereotype. Let em dig their own graves. Regardless if they do somehow trick some sucker into marrying, it won’t be happy. They’ll tell us all about it in their next social media post/comment too. Everything happens to harass women. Every man ever wakes up every day and asks himself how he can better harass women today. He puts on his women harassing shoes and gets in his misogyny car to drive to his job where he teaches a bunch of other little boys how to creep women out. Everything we do, we do to make women’s lives worse. These people, feminists, are actually just full blown narcissists. That’s what we’re missing in the whole equation. I agree. It’s always been like this too. Horatio Nelson was a British Naval war hero and after one battle he’s harrowingly quoted as saying, “I went on deck to view the state of the fleets. The whole bay was covered with dead bodies, mangled, wounded, and scorched.” Those bodies of course were 14 year old boys. There’s no difference in any battlefield for all of human history, up to and including now like Vietnam, Ukraine, Russia, child soldiers in Asia and Africa. Nothing but bloody cut up piec…

My personal opinion is that both far left (communist) and far right (fascism) authoritarian systems are class struggles, and the only difference between the two in practice, is who the perceived victims and oppressors are. It’s always the ultra wealthy, but either side gives a scapegoat to the wealthy by blaming a convenient underclass. The biggest mistake leftists make in politics is the inherent belief that they are the anti-authoritarian wing, when really both major parties in the states are …

As someone who is left wing, it’s because for 15+ years half of our political platform has been “you can’t be racist towards whites” / “you can’t be sexist towards men”. Unironically, this being one of the things that radicalized the right wing. We have spent years teaching leftists that bigotry IS ok, as long as it’s OUR enemies. While simultaneously demonizing the other side for their bigotry, and playing moral Olympics over it. And in fact, it isn’t even bigotry. Because of privilege. Naziism…

Nail on the head. It’s self awareness and performative. If you weren’t a sexist, you wouldn’t make exceptions. These people are on auto pilot with no consistent convictions. The whole ideology would crumble the second they hide behind the same ‘patriarchal’ power structures they vehemently detest when they ask the men to go to war in their stead. How many wars do men need to fight to be worthy? How many unknown soldiers and 14 year old boys need to bleed out in a field somewhere to be forgotten so that the wealthy of the world can sip on their lattes and tweet about how much they hate us? Wonderful article highlighting the systemic privileges and ‘oppression’ feminists hold over men since they control the entire DV and suicide prevention lobby. Mens voices are simply not heard, because they are dead. The system treats this as a health issue, rather than a male issue. Most men couldn’t vote, period. At least in the early United States, it was land owners who could vote, including women and excluding non land owning men (the majority of people). All of these ‘oppression’ narratives are revisionist and only ever really applied to the upper middle to upper class. How is the patriarchy always been advantageous of men and boys? Was it when 14 year olds were enlisting to fight in the Great War? A Naval Admiral who fought for Britain against France prior to the napoleonic war once said he ‘came to view the carnage from the deck of his ship and that you could not even see the water because it was covered in bodies.’ History likes to forget all the ‘men’ who died throughout every bloody campaign in human history were conscripts (slaves) and child soldiers. I think he only really had a claim to fame because he was one of the first ‘fuck women, pro man’ social media voices that dissented.

The problem started by allowing feminists to call women minorities and a marginalized group. They are 50% of the world population, with higher rates of education and employment. They are the furthest thing from a minority or marginalized group. It was rhetoric designed to further embolden women while disadvantaging men. You cannot refute this if they are classified as a minority, legally or morally.

The people that are supposedly extremely anti sexist, anti racist, etc and then cant understand the same concepts applied to men, tells me their political views are strictly team based and not built on an actual principled and moral foundation. I dislike feminism and check out of mainstream democrats not because I like trump and conservatism, but because they are literally the same thing and too ignorant to recognize it.

Its incorrect because it views privilege and power as a hierarchical structure, as most western lenses of gender equality do. If men all around the world, and in western nations still, are forced to sign up for conscription, or are still subjected to infantile genital mutilation again, even still in western countries, then where exactly are we drawing the definition of proximity to power and privilege from? Western models of gender equality confuse classism with patriarchy. Common men have suffe…

Id like to see more gender neutral messaging and non profits partnered with feminist organizations. Feminists have capital, power and influence. Theyre also credentialed globally. Feminist recognition of male victimization, more as a stand in unity rather than feeling like mens issues are the burdensome step child swept under the rug, that would peak my interest. Its really disconnecting to see male victim shelters not get the funding or the support they need because opponents argue it takes res…

I really appreciate how thorough you were. That woman you were arguing with embodies the anti-thesis of egalitarianism. Egalitarianism is not truly possible as long as people hold the kind of views that she does (of which, in my opinion, are generally representative of the feminist majority.) Truly regressive masquerading as progressive. The patriarchy was the boot they want us to live under, in reality, all along.

That is verifiably accurate as well. More women in college. More women with degrees. More women in the workforce. Women have the majority in 9/13 STEM fields. Another example being the wage gap. Men are paid more because statistically they take more risks, they work more overtime, they work more hours overall. Why would you advocate for equal pay when that isn't actually what equal is? Why would I advocate my coworkers get paid as much or more than me when im doing more work than them? You shouldn't want anyone to do anything so long as it doesn't directly interfere with your rights and freedoms. Anything counter to that is authoritarian and not representative of American values Additionally. I dont have to convince anyone not to have kids. Thats kind of the point.
