Damned if you do, Damned if you don’t. Women complains that man keeping it professional at work makes her and other female coworkers feel uncomfortableWhat exactly? | /r/MensRights | 18/05/23 05:54 PM
Feminists seem surprised that the overwhelming majority of the Left turned on Feminism...It is easy to explain. There could be multiple reasons. For example, the woman and her family are just abusing the system. The system is not perfect, maybe people who designed the scholarship program didn’t take into account the wealth of their applicants or their goal was to specifically target women. It is their mission and choice. There are probably programs that can give opportunities to the garbage man’s son. If there aren’t we need people to create them, like programs supporting women were… | /r/MensRights | 19/02/23 11:38 AM
Feminists seem surprised that the overwhelming majority of the Left turned on Feminism...And so what? why does it matter? Also, the solution is to have separate prisons for trans people, kinda easy? And people get raped at prisons no matter their gender, like men rape other men and women rape other women. I am very open-minded and I want to learn other perspectives. Thank you for sharing yours. | /r/MensRights | 19/02/23 07:52 AM
Feminists seem surprised that the overwhelming majority of the Left turned on Feminism...I am not an expert on that topic, so maybe someone else can speak about biology and stuff. But I don’t see any problem with people transitioning, it is a very difficult, long, painful and costly process. People who do it, don’t transition for fun, but to actually end their suffering of being in a body they are not connected with. I don’t see any problem with that. Also, science is what allows them to transition so they are very much pro science lol | /r/MensRights | 19/02/23 04:12 AM
Feminists seem surprised that the overwhelming majority of the Left turned on Feminism...Not really. Inter-sectionalism works for everyone, doesn’t matter what gender you are. For example, black men and black women experience different challenges in our society. You can add class to the equation and talk about black working class men vs white capitalist women, in which case it is east to say that the said women have it easier. But probably not because they are women, but other factors are affecting that like being white vs black in US, and being wealthy. | /r/MensRights | 18/02/23 06:29 PM
Feminists seem surprised that the overwhelming majority of the Left turned on Feminism...You can say the same thing about diseases and that it is not biological to treat them, so leave people to suffer or die. Why not let trans people be who they are/want to be? Being trans doesn’t hurt anyone | /r/MensRights | 18/02/23 08:15 AM
Feminists seem surprised that the overwhelming majority of the Left turned on Feminism...Not really? It just adds another dimension. It is all intersectional. | /r/MensRights | 17/02/23 10:36 PM
| -1 | Feminists seem surprised that the overwhelming majority of the Left turned on Feminism...What do you mean? | /r/MensRights | 17/02/23 10:34 PM |
| -2 | Feminists seem surprised that the overwhelming majority of the Left turned on Feminism...How are these left party policies? | /r/MensRights | 17/02/23 08:03 PM |
Feminists seem surprised that the overwhelming majority of the Left turned on Feminism...Depending on specific person or a group. But overall the left ideas are pro science | /r/MensRights | 17/02/23 07:58 PM
Damned if you do, Damned if you don’t. Women complains that man keeping it professional at work makes her and other female coworkers feel uncomfortableYes, why not? Saying personal choice when excluding groups of people can be a cover for racism and sexism. | /r/MensRights | 17/02/23 07:56 PM
Damned if you do, Damned if you don’t. Women complains that man keeping it professional at work makes her and other female coworkers feel uncomfortableExactly, but why specifically exclude people based on gender? I understand if it is about different values, interests, hobbies. Like if he was friends with only white people in the office, but kept strictly professional relationship with black coworkers. That would also raise questions. | /r/MensRights | 17/02/23 06:08 PM
Feminists seem surprised that the overwhelming majority of the Left turned on Feminism...I guess there are different groups of left but only few hypeworthy ones get in the news. Most leftists are pro science, anti discrimination. The article doesn’t really elaborate on the reasons behind this incident. Maybe there are other forces involved, like they were protecting regular farmers so they don’t lose in competition to the gmo rice producers? I don’t know, just trying to think. | /r/MensRights | 17/02/23 06:05 PM
Feminists seem surprised that the overwhelming majority of the Left turned on Feminism...That’s very interesting. I wouldn’t call these people leftist, because if you are a leftist by definition you care about regular working class people and do not discriminate. It is all about helping working class. Marx talks about that in Communist manifesto. Feminism is a left thing so it is of course a part of agenda. | /r/MensRights | 17/02/23 05:27 PM
Damned if you do, Damned if you don’t. Women complains that man keeping it professional at work makes her and other female coworkers feel uncomfortableExclude from friendship. Yes, he is keeping professional relationship but why go beyond specifically with men and keep professional only with women. Do you know what I mean? Why treat women differently? | /r/MensRights | 17/02/23 05:22 PM
Feminists seem surprised that the overwhelming majority of the Left turned on Feminism...How do they promote sexism and racism? | /r/MensRights | 17/02/23 08:13 AM
So discouragedMen can also be emotionally abusing and leave women in a bad mental state. Does the gender really matter in this case? | /r/MensRights | 16/02/23 11:31 PM
| -1 | Feminists seem surprised that the overwhelming majority of the Left turned on Feminism...Tbh it is the first time I am hearing about this. Do you have any examples? I am a leftist myself, and all the left people I know are anti sexism/racism/bigotry/any kind of discrimination, pro science, but yeah anti religion (if it promotes sexism, misogyny, etc). And the leftist goal is to actually help the common folk. | /r/MensRights | 16/02/23 11:28 PM |
So discouragedNo, this is not a fair summary at all. She is not trying to make men feminine, but only true to themselves, which may not be defined by traditional masculinity. Bell hooks tries to draw attention to struggles of working class men, who are often forgotten by feminist thinkers who say that all power and privileges are held by men. She encourages men to learn and accept emotions, learn how to love and be loved, value themselves as a human being without said value being based on how much money you m… | /r/MensRights | 16/02/23 11:20 PM
So discouragedNot really, that’s not what she said in the book. | /r/MensRights | 16/02/23 11:04 PM
So discouragedSure! I am reading her The Will to Change. It is about men and all the difficulties we have to go through growing up and how it affects us and those around us. And how some feminists do not talk enough about men problems but they should. How modern times create new challenges for men. She also emphasizes how some women unknowingly help support current system that oppresses men. Highly recommend to everyone. | /r/MensRights | 16/02/23 08:13 PM
I used to be a feminist, until...Maybe privileged women do, but regular working class women definitely do not have it easy | /r/MensRights | 16/02/23 07:19 PM
Theory explains they cut off male genitalsWhat point are they trying to make? | /r/MensRights | 16/02/23 07:16 PM
So discouragedThere is so much more to being with a woman (or a partner of any gender) than sex or money. | /r/MensRights | 16/02/23 07:12 PM
So discouragedWhat’s wrong with feminists? There are many who support men for example bell hooks. She is one of feminist icons who was trying to get more attention towards men’s problems and how feminism can help us. | /r/MensRights | 16/02/23 07:07 PM
| -6 | Feminists seem surprised that the overwhelming majority of the Left turned on Feminism...What is it that you don’t like in radical left? And what do you not like in feminism? Genuinely curious | /r/MensRights | 16/02/23 07:01 PM |
| -5 | Damned if you do, Damned if you don’t. Women complains that man keeping it professional at work makes her and other female coworkers feel uncomfortableI think the reason is that he for some reason excludes women and that makes the environment uncomfortable. Like why would he be friendly with men and not women. I know there could me many reasons for that, but it still can feel strange. On the surface May look like sexism since he is differentiating and giving special treatment to colleagues based on gender | /r/MensRights | 16/02/23 06:56 PM |

Does Anyone Else Feel Lost When It Comes To Defining Manhood?I think it is important to be yourself and do not define yourself by socially constructed standards such as masculinity. | /r/MensRights | 12/01/23 09:47 AM
I'm starting a list of double standards between men and women. Feel free to add to it.These programs usually exist to support women in industries/professions where women are underrepresented to fight systemic issues that limited opportunities for women in the first place so it’s ok. | /r/MensRights | 12/01/23 09:38 AM
I'm starting a list of double standards between men and women. Feel free to add to it.They are both pedophiles and should be reported. If it’s a university than it is a huge conflict of interest and abuse of power regardless of gender | /r/MensRights | 12/01/23 09:22 AM
| -1 | I'm starting a list of double standards between men and women. Feel free to add to it.I mean lots of men do that too and lots of women stayed and help fighting in the war | /r/MensRights | 12/01/23 09:21 AM |
