What I'm saying is that schools should not be considered sexist/bigoted/feminist. Women have taken on the teacher/schoolmarm role for a long time and it's become socially commonplace for women to be teachers. Just like nursing. Shouldn't the We in that last one mean both of you equally? You can never be 100% certain your partners are honest about where they've been and what they've done.
