Order a coke, Diet Coke, ginger ale, water whatever you want. Get a lemon or lime in it. That’s what I do when I want to avoid being questioned.

But yet my ex-wife can owe me $25k in arrears, has stable employment as a nurse, hasn’t paid in months and the judge says, “She’s trying.”

Here is what I do to free my mind, not for revenge, but to focus on the next. I have a contact in my phone called ignore. This contact is blocked from receiving texts or calls. I add her number to this contact and delete her contact that has her name.Examples of other numbers in this contact include telemarketers. This takes away the temptation to answer when she calls or texts and also keeps you from reaching out when you feel weak.

From the information you shared, it sounds like she was trying to gain control by dictating the meeting spot.

I agree with both of you. You need to teach your kids by example. Much of this needs to be learned hands on. On the other hand my sons wrestling teammate had his father pass away unexpectedly in an automobile accident. In his papers was a letter similar to this he had written when his son was born just in case. That kid followed his fathers advice to a T. He got a Div 1 scholarship in wrestling and last I heard was in law school. I say do both just in case.

"Let's get this out of the way." Hand on small of back as you enter wherever it is you are going. Then proceed as usual. Light enough where you are not a creep yet strong enough where it is clear you do not intend to be friends.

"She may have dumped the guy I was then, but she's not good enough for the guy I am now" Excellent quote...substitute the second "guy" with "man" and you will have the male version of "Live Laugh Love" Market that shit!!!

I started when I was 40 freshly divorced, 43 now. It has changed my life for the better in so many ways. The confidence aspect has spilled over into my career and friendships. I am now the guy that all of my married friends live vicariously through.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
