1	Why is r/askfeminists so intellectually dishonest? It’s the words used to describe the point that makes me think she believes in the statement “male hobbies trash, female hobbies good”. It seems like she was trying to emphasise that male hobbies are looked favourably even when they are single dimensional (according to her), while she describes the female hobby as more complex than it is. It might be exaggeration but it implies that her mindset is similar to the people she’s trying to criticise. 1	Why is r/askfeminists so intellectually dishonest? The thing is, her comment came off as saying “sports are useless while crocheting is useful”. And while this was done to show how men value sports over crocheting, it’s simply shows that she believes in something similar to what shes criticising ie “masculine hobbies are useless, and feminine ones are good”. Also as for people looking down on men for doing crocheting, i feel like it’s a major issue due to the fact that traditional male roles are still enforced upon men.
