1	Men try to gatekeep standards It's supply/demand. Men generally desire women more than women desire men. Therefore, women can afford to be pickier (and they are, by far). The physical standards women judge men on tend to be things that cannot be changed (height/hairline). Men primarily judge based on weight, which is 100% controllable.
