Alright. I get that you don't want boys getting circumcised. You view this practice as a bad thing, and even argued that it is sinful. Let me explain my position Circumcision isn't a bad thing. Some practice it for religion and culture. Some don't. But a majority of people view it positively, myself included. It is okay to not be circumcised. I said it. It's not that I'm arguing against men remaining uncircumcised. My whole issue was comparing FGM with male circumcision. But if you don't like it…

How many males died because of circumcision so far? And get this, circumcision in itself isn't sinful, but requiring it as a prerequisite for salvation. So whether a man is circumcised or uncircumcised, doesn't make a difference in God's eyes. Both can be saved by grace through faith alone.

Begin with the Bible where Abraham and his descendants are circumcised. Also, note down how many males die of it, either during the procedure, while nursing the injury, and after healing. Also, find more statistics of the same based on contemporary countries and nations.

For male, I called it circumcision because that's what it is. For females, it's not the same. Even the less invasive procedures negativity affects most women negatively, and most of them end up dead. I'm from Kenya and I know what I'm talking about. You're comparing "feelings" with real life consequences of FGM which our societies strive to win against.

The HIV study was shown to be false Well, the foreskin isn't that soft nowadays and do not break easily during sex increasing the risk of HIV. All previous research confirming the hypothesis that foreskin is soft and breaks easily during sex should be thrown out?? Are they false?? So the whole point of anti-circumcision for boys is body autonomy, right? But the campaign against FGM isn't based on the same stupid arguments, but for female wellbeing. Putting the two campaigns at par with each other is ignorant and dangerous. Pro-FGM people argue that it is the same with male circumcision, so it isn't a big issue and let them continue mutilating young girls. These girls are our sisters and mothers, wives and girlfriends. Male circumcision is not the same as FGM.

Regulate the doctors that operate on people. Make it mandatory for them to check on all factors like they do a other minor procedure. Plus the percentage of male that die from the procedure is significantly low, and occurs because of infection. You sound unreasonable trying to fix that which is not broken. As for FGM, it's not that prevalent in the west and Europe. Only in Africa among ignorant communities. I'm getting downvoted for speaking common sense. 🤡

In a land without soap and hot water, I might buy into the idea that male circumcision was helpful, assuming the cut boy did not get an infection. I just realized that a good number of subredditers here are anti-male circumcision like yourself. However, In my culture, all males about 10-15 of age must be circumcised, and this is usually followed up with a change in responsibility for the circumcised. Circumcision for male is viewed positively for men in my culture. Plus after healing, there's no disadvantage of the procedure that I know, unless you tell me. The world is unfair and deviated miles away from the truth. We may never be able to radically and forcefully change it, but there will always be a remnant for the future generations, and those are people who stand for the truth despite of the corrupt world. In this case, OP should raise his kid to be better and make good life choices, especially when it comes to marriage partner. If I were him, I would move to another state and start my life from scratch with my kid(s)

In a world where everything is skewed against men, being in a situation where your ex pays you child support is a great win. If such scenarios were common, I don't think men would be crying about equality nonesense. Still, every situation is different, but the principles are same. I would 10x have this situation for me instead of having my ex raise my kid with toxicity. Plus, I hope women would give up custody to men easily without much fight (esp financial). So? It's a win!!

But he definitely has the custody cz his ex pays child support. But for me, it isn't worth the hussle. He should just live his life and thank God he got custody. If at all he decides to fight, fight for full custody if possible. Leave the ex in the past and move on with your life and a happy kid

A man's responsibility and duty is to provide for his family. The guy should find work and excel in it to provide for his kid without bothering the mother. Let him find a good stay-at-home mom and build a virtuous moral family. If genders were reversed, that is understandable because his responsibility is to provide. Plus he is able to influence his kid positively than when the kid is away with the mother. Simple

For me, porn and masturbation are a package. If I continue the latter, I'll definitely fall back to porn making all the sacrifices I made to quit vain. The fact that I'm not ready to go back is the reason cheating idea keeps floating on my mind. Quitting masturbation took me a long time, resources, and sweat. I finally got out of it (alongside porn) and I'm not going back for sure. As for the conversation with my wife, I'm not ready yet.
