Men smirking is a red flag for me. It translates to contempt and miss me with that shit.

And that's why we won't date, different values.

Shaving legs has nothing to do with hygiene, but her bed should really have sheets too, that's gross.

I wouldn't date your family member either. There's a difference between dirty and cluttered. My nightstand is cluttered, but I change my sheets and vacuum my room regularly, so I consider it clean, especially since I don't keep junk on the floor. I would tell you to stack your relative's shit neatly against a week and cover it with a sheet, but then they'd just add more. Every night if I'm feeling ok I clear off the kitchen counter and wipe it down so I can wake up to a clean kitchen. I dated so…

It's not about buying the best things, it's about not living in filth.

Living in filth while wasting all night pretending to shoot strangers? 🤡

Where I live it was usually young guys who still lived at home or recently moved out who would have amazing gaming rigs and a mattress with no sheets thrown in the corner. Usually the brokest people I knew would rent furnished rooms in the basement of old people's houses so they usually had a set up bed from when the people had kids. Mattresses on the floor tend to have dirt tracked into them, and rarely-changed sheets because it's a much more annoying and inaccessible chore. Waking up on the fl…

A bed frame and the ability to clean up after oneself. Bed frames are like $30-70, if I see a mattress on the floor it's a instant turn off. It's not about money, it's about the way a person is willing to live. Clean sheets, made bed, laundry in the basket instead of the floor, dishes in the dishwasher, stove and counters wiped down, trash not overflowing. I don't expect someone to own their own house, I expect them to be an adult.

That sounds like a much better situation than I was expecting, I've had people complain to me about things like their doctor prescribing it without full informed consent and when their doctor retired they couldn't find another who would continue the regime and tapering down was hellish.

Taking benzos daily is really dangerous and has some of the worst withdrawal symptoms out there, it can take a year to fully normalize after that. You should find a new psychiatrist and try to figure out a better regimen because yours is really fucking you over.

I'm so glad I didn't grow up like this. I remember my dad saying he could only hear Society's Child by Janis Ian late at night because it wasn't played on his local station and the nearby city's broadcast was stronger on clear nights.

That's why they try to marry women there off so young, so they'll has several babies and becomes dependant and trapped before they're old enough to learn to fight for themselves.

Don't download the app. It installs spyware that isn't removed after it's uninstalled.

A lot of stun guns marketed to women are ineffectively weak. I expect my weapon to put a guy down, not just make his arm tingle. I've considered burying a name brand tazer, but they're like $300

I dated a twin once. When people asked how I could tell them apart I'd say mine was the cute twin. After we broke up he literally started looking more like his brother, it was really weird.

I believe there are roughly three types of hobbies, and I try to have one of each, creative, athletic, and consumption. Creative hobbies are things like painting, baking, playing an instrument, journaling, basically a hobby where you use creativity and create something. Athletic hobbies are needed for balance, your body requires exercise so if you actually enjoy what you do you'll look forward to it, try sports, running, weight lifting, roller blading, swimming, yoga, dancing, or whatever else s…

These "runs to the country to be a wife" movies are the conservative equivalent of the "runs away to Hollywood to become a star" movies. Give up the big sinful city to live a simple life with Jesus and family values. Its why people were so upset about hallmark showing a lesbian couple in some ad, because they see hallmark as their safe place.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
