Except what females (or any other people) think about your attractiveness is not at all the important factor here, which is why a lot of people on this thread are trying to tell you that the real problem you need to fix is your "need female validation to fix my problems". What you think is actually the important factor here. All the female validation in the world won't fix your problems, because lack of female validation is not the real problem -- your perceived need of it is the real problem. T…

OP, if you don't know what you'd change, I strongly question whether you're ready for surgery. You're asking internet strangers to recommend your "self" to you. You need to create yourself instead of seeking validation through others. I too am considering cosmetic surgery, because my face has aged and some things about that just plain annoy me. I agree with all of this post, but this part particularly resonates. (As does "...if your partner is relying on you for all their validation it is emotionally exhausting." So true!!). I'd also add that many women don't want to just be used as some guy's status symbol (arm candy) -- they want to be appreciated for who and what they are as individuals.

I second this. u/shycel (and other commenters), you have to be open to change before you can steer your life in a better direction. And, you need to contribute something positive to relationships, including your relationship with yourself. (If you don't like you, how will you attract other people to negativity?) I keep seeing comments like "I need validation", or "I want attention". I haven't seen "I have love I want to give", or "I want to spread joy". No one wants to be used. Relationships inv…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
