If anything, it's an object lesson in remembering that there should be an open discussion of ideas in a community that wants to remain healthy and strong. 3	Unexpected pregnancy: Should a man be responsible for supporting a baby he didn’t want? Sounds like the best policy, recognizing both the rights and responsibilities of both genders. 13	AskPurdie: secret vasectomy = sociopath (his right to choose) It sounds like, in the context of the letter at least, He knew that she wanted kids, and instead of being upfront about his choice and inability to conceive, he led her on and manipulated her into blaming herself. In this context, I'd judge it absolutely her business to know what her partner wants, and well within her rights to see this as divorce-worthy.
