So do I, and I can see why he said he said it considering some of the other suggestions in the comments. But thankfully the OP seems to have used your suggestion for the most part.

It’s fine in this scenario. No one has provided an alternative. He just wanted to know what to reply and your comment was a solid suggestion assuming he’s not always the funny guy. He has to reply with something.

Been with these two girls over the last few weeks. Barely emotionally interested. Enter girl three and I feel like a teenager again. Even though we were having sex I felt like I had a crush. Couldn’t help it. I was letting it slip accidentally here and there that I was the more invested one. Another comment summed it up nicely, “she wasn’t your plate, you were hers” and that’s exactly how it felt.

The second you said you were drunk it was over. She thought you were a daring charmer but then you became a random drunk looking to chat to women. If you’re drunk and talking to someone in a non-drinking environment never appear sloppy. Sometimes you might be too drunk though.

I think you should take her back, at least for a little while. Whether it goes good or bad you’ll at least learn something from it to apply in future. You’ll be able to see first-hand the extent to which the dynamic changes. This is a rare position to be in and you might not be in a position like this for a long time. If you don’t take her back then you won’t gain any new insights. I say do it. For science.

In the same boat man. Didn't get into a proper relationship till I was around 18. I'm 21 now and I get really bothered by it sometimes. I love life atm but I find myself wishing I could go back to when I was 14 and stop playing cod and skyrim etc and buy some cool clothes and start talking to girls and not be such a shy goody two-shoes. I feel like I could have reaped some rewards now if I had put the work in during the formative years. HOWEVER, when you look at what's actually bothering us you …

You’ll probably get laughed at / downvoted for this post but I know exactly what you mean.

A huge amount of young people are getting genital herpes from oral. But it honestly seems to be harmless. I'm at the point where I don't care if I get it because nearly everyone has it (dormant or on mouth) and at least it could protect against the scary herpes

My buddy got a blowjob off a girl who didn't realize she had a coldsore forming on her lip. He got oral herpes on his dick and thought his life was over. Turns out the oral form of herpes isn't as bad as the genital one. He never got another outbreak after the first one. He basically has the same virus now that most of us have except if it ever comes back it'll be on his dick. He's apparently more resistant to the actual genital herpes now too which is kind of a plus I suppose. He always uses co…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
