Haha, look who also got dooped into amnesty. The problem isn't moving to far to the left, it's that a minority has moved so far to the right that it is beyond all practicality to fit everyone in one party. Also, the GOP will cease to exist in 15-20 years if it doesn't try to court Latino voters right now.

If you want readers to take you seriously, you probably shouldn't rely so heavily on profanity, personal attacks, and unsupported hyperbole. You have the writing style of a raving lunatic.

That would mean people would actually have to read before jumping to personal attacks. These top comments are about yelling louder, not supporting a cause or discourse.

The funny thing is that articles about celebrity fashion are geared towards women, not men.

How does this make them the better person? I just don't get the rational; its like she is doing men some benevolent favor rather than just respecting people's privacy and integrity.

Our duty is to get in the way with our disposable bodies, not our words.

I stopped reading when she immediately dismisses opposing view points with the classic power struggle straw-man argument. Edit: I went back and made it half way through. The author relies on a lot of assumptions that I would call innacurate prejudice. I don't trust any writer that holds up Miley Cyrus as a role model or needs bold words to make a point.

No use of anonymous reporting- whether or not it is the intended use -is acceptable. That's the point.

Did anyone else try to downvote comments in the SPLC article? I wanted to downvote a troll and someone calling herself a princess, but the button was unresponsive. Upvote and reply worked just fine, but I am also accessing from my phone so I can't say anything for sure.

There is only a form to report a man sitting in the "Sister's Secton", but even then it's the nearby women that get a public lashing while the offender makes rude and dismissive, hand gestures. He may also call you "cousin", "brother", or "ol' boy" while invading your personal space. That's where things stand in the UK; does that answer your question?

There is a lot of literature out there indicating that small acts of kindness are beneficial when you feel depressed, stressed, or just plain sad. If there is interest then I can dig up sources when I get home tomorrow.

Once limits are set you have to follow through. Dad should have offered dinner at home, but it was still a better option than giving into the tantrum. This only serves to reinforce an awful pattern of behavior.

I just don't understand it when a group claims to be opressed and then adopts the same policies they claim to despise, all in the name of equality. Why should "men"-I will indulge in the myth that we are a homogeneous group with one shared opinion among us- treat "women" well if they collectively return the favor with arrogance, disdain, and condescention? I can't remember, was Gandi or Einstein the misogynistic manbearpig that emplored us to become the change we want to see in the world?

I may be wrong, but it is my understanding that these problems are related to the same structural deficits at the heart of ADHD and that these problems are the manifestations of a strictly medicinal intervention. It boils down to coping mechanisms that went unlearned rather than side effects of medications.

It certainly sounds like a men's health issue if that is the case, but I still don't see this as a rights issue. The medication still accomplishes its designed purpose and it still is not a cure.

Still unsure of why this is in r/mensrights, but more to the point this article does not break any new ground. It is theorized that ADHD is due in part to a structural deficit in the frontistriatal plain, the part of the brain that mediates communication between the frontal cortex-a major player when it comes to motor control and organization- and an area of the brain that is responsible for impulse control and goal-oriented behavior. Stimulant medication addresses the symptoms without touching …
