I'm glad this is working for you? But ugh, this sounds so cheese-tacular.

Well actually, this was before the door, leaving the table. I'm just used to "ladies first" as we walk through a restaurant...

I definitely do...and noticed the other day when a new guy walked ahead of me leaving the restaurant, instead of letting me go first.

I'm no good for advice, lol, I had to pull the plug on it! I couldn't get him to be straight with me, so evasive and using me for my social connections, but not inviting me out with his friends...just wasn't cool. In the end, we were trying to just be friends, but he ended up not treating me too well as a friend, either. What's frustrating is that he revealed a bit here and there about how much he was into me (pretty sure that wasn't an act, but I guess it could have been) and I was sooo into hi…

Oh yeah...I'm with ya girl, another female redditor here...I also check this out to identify PUAs. Last guy I cared about was trying to be a PUA...I think it just frustrated both of us, really, and now it's over. But between female friends, we don't talk about gaming. We discuss guys, but just in general terms.

It is really tiresome. I'm a little slow to the pick up sometimes, but when I realize that I'm being 'gamed'? Such a turnoff. I suppose I should be flattered that someone thought that he needed to 'neg' me, but no, if it isn't done properly, it isn't the natural bantering back-and-forth that I enjoy, it's just weird. I was glad to read recently that this whole negging thing seems to be on the way out? Because guys who use this term don't seem to understand how to use it well. Fun teasing is what…

Yeah, this could be a bit true...but...we change in what we are attracted to, also. I have gone from geeky gamer straight to a SERIOUS ALPHA man's man type, who could give pua's some tips...it was all about wanting something different than what had not worked before. I would NEVER have thought I would end up with that kind of guy. But it was different. And now I'm back to geeks. Where I belong. :)

I know vaguely of which you speak, seriously. But that whole comment didn't come from the song, right? So, my point stands. Not all women. Thanks for your well wishes regarding my ears.

That is a damn good question. I mean, I was attracted to him, I was fairly confident he was attracted to me, so I pretty much felt like "game on" as it were, let's go! I just got very annoyed and frustrated by anything holding it back, when it seemed like such a great fit. I was ready to just bulldoze over it and had to ignore any games. I'm going to mull that question over some, I'll let you know if I come back to anything...aside from certainly, he could have been a HUGE asshole. That would do…

I just hesitate to speak up because I'm not sure I have typical female thoughts? I tend to be a bit more...forthright.

Dude, not all women. Maybe I'm just a special flower (of course I am!) but no WAY do I put that much thought into that crap.

Nope, it was in spite of that attitude. It's been the most annoying thing about him. I really did chase him more than I should have, but I just...wanted what I wanted. I do not enjoy chasing, honestly, it is not something I need to do (not bragging! Seriously!). I did so because I thought he was a hot geek and we have a huge amount of common interests, that are hard to find where we live. it is also because of this that I usually ignore this crap. I can find a guy whenever, but not one with so m…

I am female, so grain of salt, here. but... Exactly! I am currently losing interest in someone who I think is a great guy, but seems to be holding back on purpose. I know I lean against playing any games, but I'm also aware that's not always the best suggestion. However, in this case, you both showed interest, she said to message her again, so, why not? Just try earlier, like she said. If you want to back off a little, maybe wait a night, like you've got something else going on? shrugs

Um, srsly, it sounds fine, just msg her another night, just like she said?

It's a very fine line between confidence and asshole.

You do have a nice body...but the suit just feels like TMI...like, if I wanted to know your religion, maybe I should ask. :)

OK, I'll try to be more helpful this time...any nice body will get my attention, without being in a banana hammock.

Obvs, you did it just right! :) Female here...I don't know about any set time, but if she is that great looking, you probably don't want to wait too long, for whatever sorts of plans you make.

Female here. I try not to think about guys in Speedos, generally. When out with friends, it seems to be something we snicker over...

THIS. No way I'm going to find someone with my geek interests, who is also single and my age where I live. And if I saw someone at a bar I would never know that he was into my kind of geekiness.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
