Wow, I'm shocked to see this post because this literally happened to me late last night! My ex (who dumped me) messaged my best friend. He said, "Hi, I haven't heard from (my name) even though I told her we could still talk. Is she okay?" It's been a month; I blocked, deleted and had absolutely no contact other than my friend asking him to give my pet back. (And my videogames from my childhood.) Of course he didn't. So he doesn't get his headphones. Everyone I told thought it was hilarious becau…

I feel you, so much. It really sucks you had to deal with those comments too. My last ex commented on my weight, when my eyes would be bloodshot from working on homework all night, asking if my knees were "normal" and complaining that I take medication. An older lady randomly said, "Now I can see your pretty face!" I was caught off guard, smiled and said "thank you". After reading your comment I'm starting to wonder how many men think the same when we take our masks off momentarily. I did …

My most recent ex tried to convince me of men's "primal urges" by explaining how his horniness and need for sex seemed to increase near a full moon. I didn't know how to respond other than explain he has ultimate control over his actions. I have considered the possibility of behavioral changes based on moon phase (I know someone who works in the ER, she does see increased visits, and the cases are more bizarre than usual). However, that DOES NOT give anyone an excuse to force their "needs" on so…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
