This is a faulty understanding of statistics. Sure, according to the data, in 2016 if you were married yet didn't have sex with your wife it's more likely than not that she cheated. However, this does not mean a "100% chance".

If you were to actually read the post, it was discussing how keeping your trap shut instead of telling the 'truth' out of virtue can save you from shitty situations. At least, that's what my take on it was. TRP may be sexual strategy, but it also branches out to other facets of self-improvement. Morals are extremely subjective, and can definitely hinder someone from progressing to the acme of their potential.

Reading is great, however it depends on what you read. Reading fiction can be just as big a waste of time as watching television, and I personally believe it's a big form of escapism. Reading philosophy, self-improvement books, social critiques, etc. are preferred IMO
