Do you think she would protect you in any way? Hiding what she did is just being complicit with whatever lies she tells. You don't have to post it on Facebook. But your family and friends should know. Kids? Depends on age and maturity. I would walk the line of not badmouthing their mother to them. Her friends and family? Maybe. I definitely wouldn't pretend like she did nothing wrong. Don't overstate it. But don't hide it.

Therapy is good. Especially if you focus on getting back to emotionally regulated. Recognizing your good and bad coping mechanisms. It sounds to me like you are currently in a freeze response. It is the playbook. As hard as it is while emotionally compromised, open your eyes wide. Prepare and protect yourself. It is your house, do not leave voluntarily, but also don't do anything foolish to provide cause for your removal. The lies and allegations will come. Be impeccable with your word, ke…

Feeling totally lost and not sure of who you are is common. Accept that right now is total shit. You will have days of crushing loneliness, days of anger and bitterness. You deserve to start carving out time to do things you want to do. You deserve to live. You may feel like a failure, most of us did when things like this start happening. Only way to fail is to allow yourself to give up and just get crushed. I'd ask why you feel like you are drowning, how much of what you do is what has to be do…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
