Ok. That makes sense. Didn't downvote you, but your posts read that you were scouting your friends' feeds and messaging girls on their profiles randomly. But if there was some familiarity with each other beforehand, then I'd say it makes this much better.

she is all kinds of talkative about how much she loves Downtown LA Yep, that explains it

Was your work nursing? Because I have multiple friends working as nurses (some don't even know each other) in downtown hospitals that are worked pretty hard, especially the ER ones. Working as a nurse can be very stressful.

Majority of them are likely the 'white-knights' of girls too. The ones actually worse than Julien who try and manipulate girls by 'acting nice' and then expecting girls to get down on their knees and blow them. Just because they were nice to them.

It's r/worldnews, a cesspool of xenophobes and morons. It's what you get with a default subreddit. Regardless if the hate on Julien is warranted or not, those half-wits bash anything/anyone severely, whether it be Islam, Israel, and whatever else is on the news. It's a circlejerk of hate and patting each other on the back for hating the same thing.

Which my original post talks about. Especially the second post. "Know, be open, and talk about your passions, hobbies, dreams, ambitions, life goals, best/worst things, childhood, family, life. Be willing to share any part of yourself to anyone at anytime. " Do you not have history, passions, beliefs, opinions, hobbies, dreams, ambitions etc..? Look at yourself, know yourself and your truths. No book is going to teach you about yourself. Avoid the PC, put yourself in interactions, join hobby gro…

So your problem isn't about emotional connection, it's about knowing what to say. We've got plenty of topics on those around the forum. I'm on my mobile atm and its difficult to link but use the search in seddit for conversation skills. My experience is just talk about anything. Whatever pops into your head, say it. Also search 'conversation threading' Mark Manson also spoke about how to have a conversation in his 'Models' book. Btw, regarding readings - no amount of readings and theory will pre…

You don't need any further readings, Mark Manson covered this in practically all of 'Models'. In order to develop an emotional connection you have to be willing to open yourself up and making yourself emotionally vulnerable. This includes be open to giving out personal stories and letting your opinion and truths be heard. Know, be open, and talk about your passions, hobbies, dreams, ambitions, life goals, best/worst things, childhood, family, life. Be willing to share any part of yourself to any…

Clearly a case. How come we never ever get a video of a non-attractive dude succeeding like this? Never happens because be attractive.

i can think of so many things that separate us from animals that are soooo much more applicable than saying no to free alcohol. and I'm sure if you slipped alcohol into their food now and then they'd be no different, I know of some stories of horses being alcoholics because of having access to fermenting patches of plants that they, for the first few times, unknowingly ate. Chill, man. You're taking this too literally. It was a humorous remark.

By the way: a cool little trick I picked up. When you want to buy a girl a drink, don't say, "Could I buy you a drink?", but instead say, "What's your favorite drink...Oh, well I'm feeling a (insert drink here), let's go to the bar." You are giving her false options. She has a choice, but it's not a yes or no, so she can't just say "no" and reject you. No one says no to free alcohol, it's what separates us from animals. I will drink my least fav beverage if it comes free.

Sad, really. So much hate on the female gender, with some major generalizations going on. Not something I want to be associated with. I can understand some of them having had a rough time with girls in their history but blaming girls and shitting on them like that is disturbing. They're just so butt-hurt. They are the individuals who give us the bad name.

Doesn't matter. Fake number or real number, a number close isn't a factor of success (or is one but at the very minimum level). Any factors that define success 1) Kiss closes, 2) fuck closes, 3) Overcoming previous hurdles (e.g. # approaches/defeating AA) 3) Gained learning that advances your seddit skills

Live at home and pay loans. Priorities straight. Calculate how much longer it will take you to pay off your loans if you're removing ~$1K a month + how much interest you'll incur in that time frame. It won't be worth it. Finish and pay off your loans, move it, and have fun. Also, work on logistics game (e.g. going up to her place to use the washroom and escalating from there). Who knows, maybe you'll find one with her own place in that time-frame.

Taking alcohol out of the equation. It was a clutch and the first night after about 1.5yrs of doing this by shots of whiskey and a few beers, I went out broke and without alcohol. I felt like I was butt-naked AFC newbie. Saw more improvements going out sober in the last 4 months than I had in the last 2 years.

Exactly what skgoa said. They either play it safe and hide their intentions or they don't follow with any sexual interest. This leads the girl to become at best putting you in the friendzone or at worst, unreceptive to you.

I just spent 8 hours yesterday reading 'Models' by Mark Manson, a book that was highly recommended by redditors and now I see why. Could have finished faster but was spending time making summary notes as well. He touched on this topic throughout his whole book. The premise was that you need to be attractive and to achieve that attraction, you need to be seen as having high social status - which women judge based on you behavior. High status conveys less neediness, confidence, and being able to p…

+1. I can't stress hard on how fucking true this post is. TL;DR: alcohol is a crutch, alcohol is a wallet-killer, you will be a slave to it because your game will require it. Alcohol jump-starts you over hurdles and steps but when it comes time for you to do it sober, you won't know how. Alcohol gives you no improvement without it. You are the same person on alcohol as you are sober, you just need practice to bring that person out. Each alcohol-free night you go about is the stepping stone to be…

Hey guys, One of my friends taught me this move. Works to dull the sound, leading to hearing someone in a loud environment + MASSIVE kino tool. Simply, if you want the other person to hear what you're about to say. Take one of your fingers and and lightly push down on their ear's tragus (click for part image). Somehow this dulls the greater outside noise (weaker waves) but since you're much closer to her/him, your sound waves are much stronger, able to stimulate the ear sensory system much stron…

I really didn't bother evaluating the reason as to why she would but your post makes complete logical sense. Thanks for that, it's the only one of two here with the why it happened - a very important question before future cases. I should have built up higher levels of attraction and qualification before asking her out but I didn't want the time to pass on and attraction decrease since we only see each other ~1-2/month. I see now they're important. The reason I went after her was she was pretty …

Thanks. If it wasn't for the help from seddit over the past year, I probably would have just went home and sulked/depressed and wasted time over-analyzing what happened. Life's too short for that shit. Your advice seems to be the overall judgement around here. Acknowledging her at social gatherings but to an extent as an acquaintance, friend level turned down. This is a difficult position because I'm sure you don't want to "punish" a good friend, but at the same time, you don't want to just swee…

From how far I've read into Magic Bullet, it's probably one highly organized (albeit the mention typos and mistakes) of the books out there. It is structured very easily, easy to read, follow, and build from, as well as very simple to come back to a section for a refresh. Don't think I'd pay for M though, my pdf copy suffices. 'The Game' to me was more of a fun book to read (it is what introduced me into this community). It's not really a manual but a story.
