Unfortunately yes… my ex even ranted about me for not washing his clothes after our break up, because it was mean and pathetic of me to „punish“ him like that. His friends were shocked and they told him that he was a man child and that I did good by leaving him. He wasn’t amused.

I don’t know about other people, but I had a few men getting too comfy in our relationships. They tried to burden me with all the things they didn’t want to do themselves till I got the feeling I was more of a Mommy than an actual partner. And yes, being seen as a mothering housemaid kills the attraction slowly but constantly. When I broke up with my last ex he cried for 5 minutes and than asked me if I would still wash his clothes…
