This is a stellar point... owning your faults and foibles is something to which most women (and men) just can’t do. One thing i have seen proven time and time again is that their default mode is to explain away actions as something out of their control, rather than own up to their failures.

I agree to your point of “the one”, even though the romantic in me isn’t quite as cynical. It sounds like she is young, aware of hypergamy, and playing both sides of the fence. If her BF was having similar thoughts towards his ex, she would reconsider the relationship. If she tells him her feelz, then the relationship changes also. Hence the elephant in the room. Owning what you are actually doing is assuredly RPW, ignoring it for your own benefit is not.

My two cents... If you’re considering your ex, that means you current BF is also not the one, and you are wasting his time and yours. If you don’t have it in you to tell your current BF about your feelz, then respect him enough to cut him loose. Don’t use him if he’s obviously not giving you the tingles.

This is one of the better posts I’ve ever seen on here... concise and blunt while perfectly explaining. Nicely done

Men can be shy in asking for specifics, but also get butt hurt when you can’t read minds. My gal and I did the iPassion app, and realized we both are down for prettttttty much everything, which opened up all doors of creativity. He may also be trying to get you to reveal your innermost desires also, indirectly. If he…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
