Controlling wealth is incredibly difficult, the Fed is stacked with incredibly intelligent people and we still have an economy that produces bubble after bubble because there are too many forces acting in short term self interests taking advantage at attempts to control monetary value, like low interest rates. Capitalism has numerous deleterious effects studied ad nauseam and they still reoccur even in heavily regulated state economies. Worse even some countries end up making things worse by str…

What school did you go to that didn't have physical education as a component. What area of the nation were you in where being strong and athletic wasn't rewarded by admiration from both your peers and parents. Gear and fitness expertise has made it easier to become stronger, faster, and more competitive than any human that ever existed. The reason people are becoming incels is simple, the internet allows them to sequester themselves and allows chick to just swipe to the guy that matches the phys…

I do not think fat people deserve hate, I have to disagree. I mean the fat is beautiful crowd isn't the type of people I hang around, but I believe even people making poor choices don't deserve to have it thrust in their face constantly. It's obvious they are just trying to make the best of a bad situation, like all the short guys who claim women don't care about height. It's not the truth but it helps them get by, why would I want to take that away from someone, especially some stranger who cou…

It's not just the food industry, it's the entire restaurant industry as well. Most people cook with too much butter, add too much fat/salt to things because it's a relatively easy way to make it taste better. Eatting healthy really inst hard but it becomes labor intensive when you have to meal prep to get a decent breakdown of nutritious foods without the added fat/sugar of your restaurant/average granny who made food for people toiling away in the fields. Even now companies just post calories w…

Just as an example, I vounteer at an old folks home and many of these people have apathetic conditions that you have to be notified of because it mean they cannot be bothered to complete basic every day tasks. I think what you are looking for is more Stoicism, which involves more or less a understanding and acceptance of emotion rather than completely losing it. I will also add that we need to feel lows to feel high. Some of the sadist things I have seen in my life are people who have lost the a…

People who say they are apathetic are generally not actually apathetic and just coping with their shitty life. Truly apathetic people are honestly a danger to themselves and likely in the throngs of addiction to a drug or alcohol. In short, do not take this fake "apathy" pill

Oh I thought you were referring to getting huge, basic weight training is good.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/21 12:27 AM

It can be but not really, it is not sustainable and there is a large risk of injury. It is still better than what the majority of the population is doing to themselves with their sedentary lifestyle, but if people really want to exercise for themselves, I suggest either sustained cardio or swimming, followed by basic weight/strength training.

I think you are missing the point. Many women are insecure even with all that external validation, because it is just that, external. Repeated rejection is awful and disheartening, it is not an easy task to overcome it, but like most other problems we all face in life, it is external. Life is full on uncertainty in all directions, everyone is at the mercy of some kind of external force. What we do have control over is not our situation but how we react to it, we can build our inland empire to we…

Well it's not common for Constantinople to fall it had 40 foot manned walls that were nearly impossible to scale. I don't know how many people with ADHD we will need but for sure it will be many

I didn't realize I had so much power over those with ADHD, I shall exercise my power over them and use them to invade Constantinople. Power imbalance is pretty much a given as is not wrong, it's only wrong if it manifests itself with one partner manipulating, controlling, or placing themselves well above the other.

Every guy who actually knows women knows they are shallow about height. It is no revelation, people are shallow is common knowledge to all but the willfully blind, most people just don't feel the need to bring it up

Most of the time people were not "settling" in the colloquial sense because for all intents and purposes they had little choice or options. Technology and a more open culture changed things, probably for the better despite what some may think

Take the beige pill and accept that pretending like there is no observable reality and the "truth" and "objectivity" are not real is not an intelligent take but a bastardization of how the terms are used within the realm of what we consider "knowable" Of course people believe what they want to believe and all methods of scientific inquiry have flaws, that doesn't mean you can just make up anything and accept it as what we consider "truth"

I never understood this discussion about bringing things to the table to begin with. I could never list out what the people in my relationships brought me because there are so many intangible things I can't even articulate, nor am I keeping track. I simply pick people I enjoy being around and who didn't reject me. I don't keep people in my life because they bring something to me, nor do I share with them because I get something in return, I do so because I want or I think it is the right thing t…

The South Park episode where Ike bangs his teacher in like kindergarten is just an amazing commentary on this It's definitely not as rare as people believe but I also do think that is because it is often not as damaging. A lot of my friends got play from older women when we were young because they knew what they wanted unlike girls our age. Is it weird sure, but it didn't negatively affect us. That being said there are legitimate cases where it goes unreported. Same thing happens to women. Damn …

Most people are shallow does not equal 6,6,6, you "pick one" doesn't make sense. I have had women approach me and ask me out, does that constitute as attracting them? Do you really believe no man under 6 foot has been considered attractive? Or if a dude has an average penis the girl will not want to have sex? And don't even get me started on the six figure requirement, the men I know that get laid the most are poor and good looking, they treat hooking up like a job. My point is people like you e…

It's never easy and you may try everything and still fail, I am not here to peddle false hope. But we all have the privilege of having a journey, good or bad. I have sat alone watching many a sunset filled with melancholy, and after everything I am just grateful to have seen such a beautiful sky.

People who claim the 6,6,6 thing must not know many women. It's just observably false. However, most people are shallow, and seeing how women simp for "chads" is likely what put him off the idea of dating. One of my first girlfriends left me for a tall basketball player and essentially entered a "simping" relationship with him unlike anything she had with me (equal and chill relationship). I am guessing these guys just never really get over the feeling of loss and let it make them bitter. Realis…

This is a ridiculous statement. Some of the best people I have ever met have been ugly, girls and guys. I swear one unfortunate looking chick had me laughing uncontrollably every time we hung out. She was infectiously charismatic and became independently wealthy/successful (still single tho damn it do be like that for ugly people). Realistically appearance doesn't have too much to do with what type of person someone is, it is a big mixture of their biology and the environment in which they grew …
