1	'Man Tax' You’re right, they would. However, restaurants actually do regularly participate in discriminate practices by offering senior/children discounts and military discounts. Those deals though have good reason for being there and no party usually feels discriminated against. The above picture though, sets a standard price arbitrarily. 14	'Man Tax' Yes, which is why there are states that ban drink deals for only women. However, its a little different. The reason it isn’t banned everywhere is because offering half off drinks to women and other deals etc. gets more women in the club, which in turn gets more men to come to the club. So it’s less about “punishing” men and more about enticing more women to come for the men.
