I’ll just mention that it’s robbery or murdered related. It has nothing do with gender perception.

I’ve even seen people playing devil’s advocate for this trial. They literally cannot comprehend the idea of men being abused. It’s so shocking the amount support these people get.

Him saying men created the environment and are responsible will backfire where people already believe men should just deal with it “like a man”. So many people can’t stand helping out men.

I get the feeling these people don’t like to acknowledge male issues at all.

Amazing how these people can say sexist things about men and use gay and bi men as their examples. They’re no better the homophobes who said that gay and bi men were “less of a men.”

Yep, you said it. What’s worse, there are people in the video comments section supporting him and praising him even. It’s gross how many people would support this sexist garbage and be considered “progressive”.

“Unlike my version of masculinity…” I get the feeling that he’s implying that he’s more of a man with this statement.

The fact they view circumcision as important shows how normalized this practice is.

It’s insane that people believe that men have done something to cause their girlfriends to be abusive towards them. Then again, society tells men they need to be the pursuers, providers, protectors, and breadwinners. It’s this standard that makes it impossible for male victims to come forward with their abuse thanks to the selfish and violent male image.

They view women as the default of humans. Seriously, this ideology is extremely harmful and makes women the center of everything instead of the gay men from the example.

Exactly! I’m so sick and tired of the view that men are responsible for their own problems since they built the system. Seriously, people love to victim blame men.

Anyone who says that men cannot be friends with women is not an advocate for men and are part of the reason why male sexuality is demonized.

The misogyny argument is annoying. They do often conflate male vulnerability with femininity when they are two different things. Also, male vulnerability has been fetishized by these people. Also, the homophobia against gay men is not always about femininity (if anything, feminine gay men are seen as “straight women trapped in men’s bodies”). Most of the homophobia I’ve seen boils down to how gay men are “pedophiles”, hypersexual, and very perverted. If people want to talk about the issues men f…

Does this comment count to be here? (I just copied and pasted). “That if a woman won't abort but the guy who got her pregnant wants her to, he should be off the hook for child support. No. The time that you made the decision to have sex with someone, knowing that she could get pregnant, is the time when you could have opted out. Even if she lied about birth control. Even if she lied about infertility. Even if she said she'd abort if she ever got pregnant and now she's changing her mind. Because …

I’m convinced that people view boys are naturally violent sex predators that need to be tamed.

They need to realize that the pressure of men needing to protect women is real and really damaging.

I’m so convinced that they believe that boys are “sexual predators naturally”.

Can anyone tell me what kind of books boys would be interested in? I’m asking since I’m both confused and curious.

Not at all. I think people who only care about the safety of women are delusional and extremely unsympathetic.

I seriously cannot comprehend the fact that there are people who think men can walk safely at night with no worries at all.

That boys “need to be taught not to rape”. Do they even realize that are people who already think boys are natural-born sexual predators?

This theory sets up the idea that boys need to protect girls when they grow up. Also, it doesn’t acknowledge the vulnerability of boys at all.

This just proves that no one cares about the vulnerability of boys
/r/MensRights14/07/20 04:51 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
