Someone being rich is of course a plus in the sense that it will make life a little easier. But honestly I care much more about other aspects (this includes shallow aspects like looks). Atm my salary is not much, so I do think that the minimum is someone with at least a similar income so that we don’t struggle. If I would have a high income myself then I think it would be easier for me to say that he can earn less. And honestly I think that ideally I’d rather be the rich person anyway than the o…

A low value woman to me would be a woman who just acts judgmental of others and like a bully. I think kindness and empathy are the highest values you can have as a human. So anyone who lacks that, woman or man, is low value in my eyes. Selfishness of course is included when talking about lack of empathy. I think e.g. cheating on your partner is low value because you are hurting someone else. I don’t think sleeping around or having OF us low value because it doesn’t have anything to do with other…

You can literally go out and see these kind of couples in the wild if you don’t believe me.

It’s literally a reality show from the 2020s. And a lot of attractive people have high N counts simply because they can attract other attractive people. It’s like getting access to the best cakes, also for women. But even the less attractive party gals mostly end up settling down with some party guy on their level. You do need to touch grass if you think these women end up with a guy who like your beta description.

Nope, actually most of the men I personally know who don’t care are the ones who are confident and social extroverts. A lot of them also have slept around plenty themselves, so it’s more so that these men just aren’t hypocrites about it. Also, just in general, like attracts like anyway. A “Too Hot Too Handle” party guy and a a “Too Hot Too Handle” party gal settling down together is like the most stereotypical thing ever. I can’t recall ever seeing one of these “Too Hot Too Handle” party gals se…

What is real cringe is calling men “beta” just because they marry women you wouldn’t. Even if they are more handsome and successful than you, you would still call them that out of some weird butthurt.

If don’t know any then you should go out more. So you aren’t like the other men, but one who has all the options? Doubt.

Your argument is literally just “My opinion is truth.” Here is the truth: there are plenty of men, also high value men, who absolutely don’t care. We aren’t entitled, but you on the other hand sure are pathetic for the way you try to speak for all men when you really don’t. And yes, I am also speaking from personal experiences here with men I’ve dated.

Wow, your post is absolutely correct and actually something I have thought about as well. I honestly think that is women should encourage other women just to sexually do what we want to do. In regards to pleasing men we are damned if we do and damned if we don’t anyway. What I mean is that e.g. if a man really wants to sleep with us and we say “No.” he’ll get upset. But if we say “Yes.” then that would be another +1 for us which will upset other men. So you can’t literally cannot win if you try …

That is a weird way to put it, considering I'm sure they do not actually want to have babies with said hookers. But that aside, I don't see how a man wanting to have sex with a variety of women before marriage is different from women wanting to have sex with a variety of men before marriage. I think that regardless of gender, many people have a desire to try several flavors of ice cream before settling down for one they flavor stick to. Which is not inherently a good or bad thing.

Actually, this article sums up pretty well why men and women in Japan aren't lining up for marriage. Like I mentioned before, Japanese people don't care much about the sexual past of their partners. And what is a "hoe phase" even? I think the name is pretty stupid because casual sex is sex for pleasure and not sex for service like an actual whore would have. It would also mean that likewise men have a hoe (or gigolo) phase. But that aside, most people don't even have time to have much casual sex…

Not only that, but here in Japan, both "body count" and "virginity" are concepts men don't seem to talk and care about at all. Nor do people care much in our home country, the Netherlands. Probably has to do with both not being influenced by patriarchal religion, with the majority of people being spiritual but non-religious (Japan) or down right Atheist (the Netherlands). Also it's funny how there is this concept of AF/BB as if every casual sex encounter is a buff gym bro and every man a woman e…

My twin sister and I always joke how we are "shallow as a shower" (like the lyrics of a Cute Is What We Aim For song) when it comes to caring about looks. We've never bought into these lies of men supposedly being visual while women aren't, since we were always visual about men.

This could be crossposted in notliketheothergirls. Also aren't "a man who is willing to work on his mental health (by getting therapy in this case) for someone" and "someone convincing a man to get therapy" two different things? This add doesn't even make sense. I guess they actually meant "a man who is willing to work on his mental health (by getting therapy in this case) for someone after getting pushed." That pushing shouldn't be anyone's job. It's your own responsibility to work on your ment…

Eh, I'm turning 32 this weekend and I still don't have this so-called "realization" he is yapping about. I feel no pressure to start a family and I'd much rather start one later in life with an HVM than trying to start one asap with an LVM. I'm not that desperate.

I'm a Dutch/Indonesian mixed woman living in Japan, I've seen it plenty. I remember there was a Chinese friend of mine who completely envied White/Asian mixed people like me and some other mixed girls she knew. This girl however was really beautiful. She had plastic surgery as well and that was so unnecessary. One of my Japanese exes also said that I didn't need make-up while Japanese girls did, as if Japanese girls can't look cute when being "すっぴん". Which is ridiculous, as is the whole general …

Ah yes this reminds me again of the guy I went on a date with who pretended to be 32 with pictures of himself at 22, but turned out to be 37. When I met him I was shocked at how old he looked compared to pictures and also found him oddly old looking even for a 32 year old. When he confessed he was 37 that made sense as to why. His reason? Because he didn’t want his adult students to know he was on dating apps. Imo it sounded like a weak excuse.

Tell me about it. I have a male neighbor who snores horribly loud. He and his female acquaintance (idk what their relationship is tbh since they never act lovely dovely) moved in next door maybe a few months after I moved in with my sister (we live in a terrace house). At first he slept in the room next to my sister, who complained. Then next to me, of course that had me complaining. We contacted the landlord, and he slept downstairs ever since then. Luckily neither of us have heard him at night…

As a White/Asian mixed "hapa" woman (with mixed parents) I check hapas from time to time, and while it surely is better than what it seemed to be in the best, it's still pretty tiring to keep seeing the generalizations on WMAF couples and WMAF hapas popping up there from time to time. Either made my WMAF hapas who project their problematic households onto all WMAF households or by MRAsians who post their agenda there. I've also seen this in intersectional feminism being a thing, but not intersectional anti-racism. It's good that White women actively learn to be intersectional towards WOC, but when are MOC actively going to learn to be intersectional towards WOC? I way too often see MOC being anti-racist while being sexist at the same time. They should be educated about intersectionality just as much as White women.

I agree with this in regards to Abrahamic religions. The fact that these religions are so undeniably patriarchal makes it hard to combine it with feminism. You'd have to practice a very progressive version of it to make it free of sexism and homophobia. I actually grew up Roman-Catholic, but in a very progressive way, in the Netherlands. I was never told homosexuality, abortion, or divorce was bad. Just hearing the plain old story of Jesus and singing songs in church. I remember back in the old …

I'm from the Netherlands, and I remember going to a house party of a friend in Amsterdam and this random homeless White guy kept shouting "Nihao" at me (in an attempt to make fun of me as an Asian person). I ignored him and continued to be on my way, because I didn't want to get into trouble, nor just in general waste time I could better spend on being at the party. Compared to other people's experiences here it wasn't as scary, but I guess still worth sharing. Being homeless obviously does not …

As someone who lives in Japan, I also find it super ignorant that people think that sleeping on a mattress on a hard floor is in any way the same as sleeping on a futon on a tatami floor. Japanese people don't usually sleep on a futons on hard floors, and if they do sleep on one they literally have a bed frame under their futon. Tatami floors are kind of soft and that makes all the difference in comfort.

Well geez. As a Dutch woman I am extremely disappointed in Zayn Malik's misogynistic and anti-Dutch choice of words here. What an ass. Yeah chikan are definitely still a big problem in Japan, and I've dealt with those ffing scrotes several times. Mostly they try to kind of sneakily try to touch you, without making it seem like they touch you. But the last time I had someone pinch me full in the butt at one of the train stops (meaning he assaulted me before fleeing out of the train). What breaks my heart though, is that most victims of chikan aren't even women like me, but indeed school girls. Elementary school girls even. Btw I…

This is so disturbing and my heart breaks at the thought of Black women being mistreated in this way by Black men while no one is paying attention. And I see it too many times as well that MOC (not just Black men) will advocate against racism, yet are being so sexist it's a joke. I agree with the human name thing. And heck, it’s not even much of a “White woman” name as people think it is. I work in Japan and one of my former Japanese coworkers was also a woman named Karen. It’s actually not that uncommon of a name, and especially popular to name mixed Japanese girls Karen because it sounds both Japanese and western, much like Naomi. Yep, all of this. It's just some BS that unattractive scrotes love to hear to have double standards on women. Along with the whole "women find older men attractive" BS that old geezers love to hear. The reality is that women are just as visual as men and also find signs of aging in men unappealing just like they find that unappealing in women. Women and HVM (like e.g. Keanu Reeves) understand however, that aging is a part of life, and can still see beauty in people past stuff like gray hair and …

I'm 31 myself, and I was always paranoid about nudes. So much that naked pictures of me literally just don't exist. Not even on some secret private hard disk. It's too bad, because a part of me kind of wants to make some, just as a memory to look back at when I'm old and my body isn't young anymore. Maybe I'm being too paranoid. I'm probably stating the obvious, but I guess since no one mentioned about it: Ciara - Level Up always reminds me of FDS. I have an anxious attachment style. If you are aware of your own attachment style, that's all the more reason to: 1) work on your attachment style 2) not go after an avoidant if your attachment style is anxious, or vice versa I believe HVM have a secure attachment style, if not, are working towards a secure attachment style. A man who is avoidant and doesn't want to change himself sounds just low value to me.

So so true, and I’m really sick and tired of women getting treated this way. There is no winning in this for us, unless we can collectively come together and say that enough is enough. And then men wonder why feminism is still needed in developed countries where women already largely have equal rights by law. It’s because too many men out there still can’t treat us normally. Misogyny like this is still so integrated in society, and it’s depressing. This is how centuries of oppression still shows…

It’s funny because I feel worried over my fine lines and gray hairs sometimes, only to meet men around my age who have it way worse. Let’s make something clear: wrinkles, gray hair, and baldness are just as unattractive on men as on women. But we aging people just have to accept that no one can stay young forever. Also, I think that actors like Johnny Depp and Keanu Reeves definitely look attractive despite being older, but both of them peaked in their 20s. The reason why they are handsome is ju…

Funny, because I think the vomit spilling comes from your side and not mine. Imagine being so warped in male privilege that you start to think men are the oppressed gender. Then again, White people and heterosexual people also seem to think that of themselves these days I guess. I have yet to see evidence of the claims you’re making here. Pretty sure men commit most crimes at the end of the day. Also, Black people getting arrested by White cops in western societies can have a racial bias, because of White privilege. Men get arrested mostly by male cops but even with a female cop it wouldn’t be the same in bias because society is patriarchal and has male privilege. Women’s rights weren’t even a thing until the 20th century, so it would definitely be silly to deny the fact that society at large favors men over women.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 12:12 AM
2

On the flip side, men also are in a position of power and get away with a lot of crimes they shouldn’t. Especially sexual crimes, such as again, rapes that lead to unwanted pregnancies. And in the countries where there is little to no gender equality those things can get really crazy.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/21 11:17 PM

People in poverty generally commit more crimes than those in wealth. But people in wealth can definitely commit crimes in a form of power abuse. See: Epstein and Weinstein.

Well, considering it are mostly men who commit crimes in general (including the rapes that leads to many of these unwanted pregnancies!!), you might as well say men aren’t exactly wired that way either. Women are literally risking their health or even their lives to get an abortion. It’s not exactly comparable to any other kind of anxiety, except for the idea of wanting to get a parasite removed from your body before it gets bigger. As harsh as that may sound. But I think that people forget that…

With an insecure attachment style also comes attracting the other insecure one. Anxious and avoidant attract each other like magnets. So if all the women in your life show up as anxiously attached, you might have an avoidant attachment style to work on and vice versa. For me it’s also surprising to know most people have a secure attachment style due to my dating history, but hey, that is just my reality.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/21 02:45 PM

As someone with an anxious attachment style and dating past if avoidant men, I think you are definitely on to something here. But it’s anxious men who typically can turn into “nice guys” or “simps”. I think that is why TRP men also hate how simps idolize women. These are men who can’t relate to each other due to completely different attachment styles. Oh and the theory mentioned in this thread, of TRP turning anxious men into avoidant, is also correct I think.

But actually, LoA should be considered the true red pill if we are talking about how the red pill was seen in The Matrix movies. Pro-choice. Especially after my pregnancy scare I can relate to the anxiety women and girls can have over unwanted pregnancies. Anyway, this anxiety will always win no matter what people say or do. Women and girls who are truly desperate will take any measure: overdose on vitamin C pills, fall from the stairs, getting hit by a car.. Safe abortions+birth control+ sex education is what we need. Not denying women and girls the access to have a safe abortion.

The blue pill in the movie means that you will stay in dream land, ignorant of the truth. My twin sister and I loved “The Boy Is Mine” when we were little and pretended she was Monica and I was Brandy. I still find it a catchy nostalgic song but damn, fighting over a guy like that is such pick me energy. 😂

But how do we even know under what circumstances men are like this or not? Some can seem great but then still turn out to be totally be clueless in bed like Lily Allen sang. Then again, if a guy specifically says "male privilege doesn't exist" that definitely is a cue to not have sex with him nor any other form of engagement.

This! It's the same with the whole "More men are victims of violence" argument. Men are the ones beating up other men, not women. So if you don't want to be the victim of violence then tell other men to stop being so damn aggressive. Or "Men historically always fought and died in wars" which 1) is a men vs men thing under order of men in charge, and 2) let's not forget that the women who were in the enemy's reach got straight up raped and murdered.

The meme makes it funny, but this really is the sad truth. A lot of men don’t care if it’s not about them.

Amen to this. But I try to call this stuff out in general. Last time I saw some dude referring to women as “dog bitches” and I told him not to be a misogynist. Idk about others here, but I think it’s important we do that. Don’t let men get away that shit.

I think it is, but for certain type of pick mes. I have an anxious attachment style and thus the pick me trap I have fallen into a lot is putting a LVMs on pedestals. But I never had the audacity to throw other women or feminism under the bus like some types of pick mes do. Those ones are the absolute worst type of pick mes and I honestly wonder what their problem is. I had to deal with one like that recently too and honestly I can’t think of the underlying cause other than just trying to delibe…

Yeah that's a big nah indeed. If she wants to fake her orgasms that's on her I guess, but ugh this audacity to tell us we should too annoys me. Slow down, pick me. I've never faked my orgasms for anyone and guess what? That works for a guy to actually try harder.

Even if easy sex is a “privilege” at all, the scrotes who think like this can’t staaaand us using that privilege anyway. That’s why they call us sluts/hoes/bitches/used goods if we do. 🙄

Yeah same here! At least then I would have known better how ffed up these situations were and more strength to call this sort of behavior out.

Wow. I don't know this place because I'm from the Netherlands, but that's rude af. I still have an A-cup and if someone were to do that to me today I would go full call the manager on them. But as a teenage girl it's unfortunately not that easy to stand up for yourself, especially if your mom laughs with them rather than supports you.

Yeah, that's true! Actually this guy even dated another 15 year old girl. I just wished I realized how pedo all of that was back then so I could have called him the f---- out.

Yeah the average for women is 170 cm. Haha I always felt like a shorty in my own country.

Ugh, guys who try to gaslight you that you are wrong about your own height and they are right about theirs are the worst. Perhaps it's a good thing just to have measuring tape in our purses when we go on a date haha.

Oh boy, this reminds me of a guy I knew who claimed he was a feminist, yet got mad at me for telling how for women it's hard to embrace sexuality because of society's slut shaming nature. He said I couldn't speak for all women because he is a doula, dated sex workers, and never had a woman saying this. (Uhh could it be that maybe some women have experienced it but just wouldn't have that type of conversation with you?!) Then went on about how I never experienced real sexism like he witnessed whe…

Same here. At 16 I didn't fantasize about sex yet, but still fantasized about getting my first kiss! I still mentally told myself that if I had a boyfriend I wouldn't have sex with him unless our relationship was at least 2 years long. It wasn't until I was 18 that I thought "OK, perhaps 2 months is fine in that situation."

Reminds me of when my twin sister and I were 15 and our older 23 year old male friend was joking how our boobs were small and that they were as big as his man boobs. Uhh OK? If you have man boobs that big, doesn’t it mean you need to hit the gym? 🙄

This, seriously. I've had my height checked countless of times during medical checks and whats not and I know I'm 163 cm. Growing up in the Netherlands, I also know what actual men taller than 180 cm look like. But dating men here in Japan through OLD, I've noticed that so many men are shorter than what they put in their bio. Not just Japanese men but also American men and such. It's just awkward, especially when you meet up. I don't dismiss short men (my first ex was 165 cm), but man, I can't s…

Aww man I love his music, but ugh reading this made my stomach turn. It’s true though that rockstars generally are LVM. Guess I shouldn’t have been surprised.

I mean FDS is kind of like a political party. I don’t agree with all stand points (e.g. on casual sex and paying for dates my view is a bit different), but I do appreciate the efforts of trying to improve things for women. I’m from the Netherlands and I’d argue that liberal feminism is the general mindset in my country. But there were some things that I have learned from this sub that were kind of eye openers like BDSM being related to trauma and how harmful porn is. I already knew the porn indu…

This is exactly why I couldn't get into porn. I remember that I was at a love hotel once with my ex and this porn was on TV (this was in Japan btw). It was so obvious that the way the guy had sex with her was in no way pleasurable for women and that the woman was in pain. It really made me feel uncomfortable and I zapped away. I honestly don't get how men can look at this type of porn scenario and somehow are either dense enough to think it's just acting or heartless enough to not give a sh*t ab…

It’s hilarious and sad at the same time he thinks this strategy actually works. Let’s be honest, if a woman is not interested she is not interested. Even if she was single and just not into him this wouldn’t work on her to suddenly get interested.

As a Dutch person, I would say the average Dutch man I know is pretty decent. It helps that the Netherlands as a country in general is very progressive, so the average Dutch person also has progressive values. But just like with any country, the Netherlands isn't completely redpiller proof. I'm pretty sure Thierry Baudet is one, and so are his fanboys. Just one side note though: going Dutch is actually considered the norm in the Netherlands (I guess that's why it's named after us), so even men w…
