When it's the other way around women take men for everything they can, I speak from experience. Take everything the law allows you to take, and have no regrets

I have three boys age 29, 28 and 25 and my relationship with all of them has been Rocky due to their mother filling their heads and their hearts with poison. We divorced in 2010 when they were aged 13 12 and 9 because we had grown apart. It was her choice I never wanted to break up our home and our family, because my boys are everything to me. It has taken a long time and with my oldest there was no contact for a period of five years until about four years ago and we have built our relationship …

Thank you, I totally agree, they are my world. For context my divorce happened 14 years ago, but I'm still trying to build my relationship with my boys back to a good place. I'm taking my oldest son, my middle son and his wife out to dinner in a few weeks, so I reached out to my youngest and he hasn't responded., it's now been 6 years since he told me he didn't want or need me, his mum was enough. I can't tell you how much I love him, and how much it hurt to have him say that, hell turn 25 in se…

Exactly what happened to me. Her friend divorced her husband and took everything she could, so about 12 months later my wife out of nowhere and without giving a reason, asks me for a divorce. I am convinced that she saw what her friend had taken financially from her divorce and thought it would be a good idea for her to do the same. She emptied our safety deposit box with jewellery worth over 25,000 pounds, she received over a quarter of million pounds from the Equity of our home which she had n…

I went but she wasn't open to anything, her mind was made up. She would do some pretend crying and on the 3rd session walked out because she didn't want to answer questions she didn't like. It was a waste of time for me, but that doesn't mean it would be for everyone.

Thank you for your kindness. I'm not a gardner, but my mum is, and I see how much joy it brings her, so I hope it does the same for you. I've heard it's very therapeutic and calming. My ex poisoned my 3 boys against me and I'm still slowly trying to rebuild those relationships 14 years later. I don't care or miss my ex, but my boys are my world/everything, and I imagine your kids are the same for you, so my heart goes out to you. I hope you can find a way in time to see and spend time with them

I have been where you are and still am in certain ways. I still cry after 14 years of losing my family, thrown away after being used for 15 years, I still don't know WHY? I'm also disabled and living off disability benefits, I'm having counselling at the moment but I try to improve my life by spending time with friends, going to the cinima, I play games on my PS5 more for socialising with friends than the games, a solo holiday when I can afford one. Try to keep yourself busy, find a little joy i…

UK divorce laws for men are rubbish, but compared to American laws, we're good thanks. This is a totally ridiculous and unfair situation. I can only offer you support by saying I feel for you, being divorced myself and I wish you well

I'm really sorry you're going through this, I wish I could say it's going to get better but I can't promise that. You're story and mine are almost identical. Out of nowhere she asks for a divorce, for me it was 15 years of marriage. There was no abuse on my part, no cheating, a big house, cars, holidays and 3 children. I now understand it was greed to cash in and take the equity from the house we owned. She turned my children against me, pretend crying in front of them making me look bad, letter…

Finally some fairness and justice for a father. This is a great outcome for you and your daughter

If I was dating a pile of sick, it would be better than my ex wife

My ex wife did, but I'm happy that my 3 sons have kept my surname. Couldn't give a flying f#ck what she does, but my boys mean everything to me

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
