The thing is, when you're older you will value other things than when you're younger, like personality vs. looks, and you will also be more appreciative of people who see you and want to spend their time with you. The whole point of this debate is that women will often choose someone who will do what you described they want to protect themselves from, because when they are young they are often just looking for that dopamine.

Passport bro is literally the opposite of involving societal support. It means you reject the fact that your society will approve or can in any meaningful way support you in finding a partner.

This is the proof that game does exist. Maybe, we lost a lot of charisma in this world somehow, and don't remember what the world was like before.

Okay I admit it, I'm a single household and I hate doing housework. Soon, my girlfriend will move in with me and I'm a little terrified to end up like you mentioned. I don't wanna be one of those lazy guys, but I know I just am.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/26 02:36 PM

Just wait 10-15 years and you will experience how your standards drop.

Well that's the thing, affection is right there in the middle, between absolute necessity for life, and reaching your full potential. You can argue it's not that important because it's not the same as water/food/safety and that is subjective, of course. But the people who say 'oh it's not necessary, you are a grown man stop crying', ironically are usually the ones whose need for affection are already met in some way. And if you are one of those people, then I feel very sorry for you and I believ…

Sex and love are very clearly human needs, at least according to science. In Maslow's hierarchy of needs, it is the 3rd most important from basic human needs. After physioglogical needs (water, food), comes safety (money, housing), then meaning (love, sex, affection), then respect, and lastly self actualization. Babies who have received all the physiological needs but no motherly love, have died in some experiments.

You missed the point entirely. You will not get the same attention when you're 50 vs when you're 25. Yes also by older men.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 04:47 PM

We all want freedom, and women and men alike should live their freedom. The only thing Redpillers say (not talking about Blackpill), is that as a woman you should not take for granted the time you have at your disposal to have your maximum dating value. If you wanna keep dating into your 40s/50s and not settle down, again THAT's COMPLETELY FINE. Just don't expect the same treatment from the guys you were getting in your 20s, because the guys you want are very likely to search for someone younger…

I'm glad you have found your hot man. He is out of the dating market now, so there is less hot men in the dating pool, and more undesirable men. The rest of the women will now compete for what's left.

"Women rather be alone than with someone they don't fancy" - may I ask how old you are? I only hear this from women between their 20s-40s, never from the older generation. When you're old, friends may get married, move or die. Then you might learn that being without a partner actually sucks big time, when all the shows on Netflix have been watched. You might wonder, everyone is ugly anyways at this stage, why did such a fleeting thing as beauty ever matter so much to me? Every night the bed is c…

Oh, it does affect you, even if you don't know or want to admit. More passport bros means less men in your local area per women, so hot guys here get even more power. The alpha guys will sleep around more, create more single moms in the West and passport bros will be happy somewhere else. That leaves you competing with lots of women for a few alpha dudes and the very end of the spectrum, guys who are so ugly/lazy they wouldn't even make it as a passport bro.

Well not everything in life is your choice, it also depends on the other person to want them.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/25 02:13 PM

We want the best of both of worlds, of course, if we can find that in one person. Just like women want the man who is good-looking, adventorous, successful, but also loyal, funny, empathetic and kind.

Yes, beta men are like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/25 06:16 PM

I know what you mean but it's not as fatalistic as you think. True connection is still a thing if you know how to look for it. It's just not easy and a lot of men WILL get left behind because they fail to adapt to the new world and isolate themselves. If you are stuck in your social circle, you might consider a bigger life change like moving to another city or getting a new job. Life is hustle and if you don't hustle women will not notice you my man.

The truth is we don't know what will happen in the future. You are just looking at the trend of the last 10-20 years and assume it will keep going forever. Demographics, trends, technology, as well as the age of a ddemographic, all of that changes constantly and impacts the average SMV of the genders. You are probably living in the west and think women have all the power now. Look at Russia, they have sent their men to war to die, men are a rare commodity there. In China, due to high abortion ra…

I only can describe what I perceive, not claiming this as universal truth. For sure there are exceptions.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/25 06:45 AM

Because when you are new in a group, it's much harder to get other prople to hang out with you. Say imagine you are in a new yoga class and everyone else is busy talking to each other leaving you aside. When you say something, you are talked over or not asked anything back. So you get sidelined. Who are you gonna ask for coffee then?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/25 06:43 AM

I don't see that at all where I live. Programs for young kids are closing down like crazy because there's not enough interest or staff, or both.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/25 05:15 AM

It's because oftentimes when you are an "invisible man" and you do take in all your effort to go do some hobbies, they are ignored and that feeling of being in a group and still lonely is much worse than just chilling at home alone. Say if you are woman and you go to gymnastics class for the first time, the teacher will take extra time to help you, the other women will chat you up and ask you for a coffee after the class, and the established guys will flirt with you. If you are a guy and not per…

Yes it does. Modern feminism has lead to men being completely oblivious to the female nature. We can be even better feminists if we just embraced male and female nature, while fighting for equality and inclusion at the same time.

That's the thing, you can't really call it a personal preference if most human beings are into that. A personal preference is if you're into blondes or brunettes, but wanting a female that is good looking/submissive, or a male that is tall/dominant is just the normal thing, while the opposite is more the exception rather than something we should put too much focus on. There is no reason to lie about it and pretend like these norms don't exist.

Modern TRP has definitely taken it way too far, but if we're intellectualy honest, feminists is not entirely innocent either. While most women were always vocal about having equal rights, they were oblivious to the fact that certain things about their nature can't be changed. Most women want a guy that is taller, more assertive (or dominant), mentally/physically strong and not too emotional.

Yes, you are right. Cultivating an alpha mentality goes first, the inner work is way more important than the rest. Thanks for your addition.

Bro I'm not talking about the 0,1% of the population that clearly have genetic defects. But if you're 1,60m and ugly, yeah you can get hot girls too. My buddy used to be like that, he went partying a lot and would go for 1,50m girls and even got a threesome. Bro you literally have no idea how far you can get if you have that alpha mentality. Do the inner work man, trust me it will work if you go hard.

Your comment means a lot to me. It shows me we are not alone. Maybe it's time to create a new movement, based on anti-capitalism, TRP and the principles of buddhism. Anti-capitalism is too bluepill, TRP is too right-wing and buddhism is too passive, in my opinion.

I'm not OP, but I'll give you my opinion anyways. 1. a) If attraction isn't there immediately (as in the first ~15mins of the interaction), it is usually not worth the effort. b) If you want to get lucky, instead of chasing after girls, your time is better spent working on your value as a man - looks, money, status. However, getting girls should never be your priority. Find other goals that fulfill you in life, and going full MGTOW is nothing to be ashamed off (without feeling remorse, hate or f…

It saddens me that people take the Redpill and all they take home from it is how sad it is. Yes it's sad, but the point of the Redpill is to show that everyone can pull themselves out if they A) learn the science and B) TAKE ACTION. Do we as a society have to work on improving male loneliness? You fucking bet we have to, but as long as it doesn't happen you need to do what's best for you since you only have one life. They call it LMS for looks money status, but what people forget is the most imp…

What is your point? Are you saying movies can't have an effect on our psychology? Because if so, that would be a really bad take.

The point is millions of people watch Hollywood movies since childhood have been lied to for generations.

If it's so obvious, then why in Hollywood movies the nice loser nerd guy always gets the girl?

Oh sorry I didn't know ChatGPT is now the absolute arbitter of truth. Elon Musk is 188cm and weighs between 90-130kg, according to the information I found online. So depending on which way you look at it, he seems to fluctuate between overweight and obese (BMI 25-35). So not a dad bod, I agree with you there. But calling Vince a dad bod makes the word meaningless. Dude is fit, just not instagram-flawless. A way better reference is my dad and step dad, who both have way more "bod", and they are b…

Running an hour a day is more than what 90% of guys do.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/25 12:06 AM

If you knew what it takes to look like that you wouldn't call it a dad bod. "Vince Vaughn shirtless" is athletic, lifts and eats protein. Definitely not out of shape. Sure he eats, but his physique takes work. A dad bod would be those Elon Musk in his yacht pictures.

I am 32, my girlfriend is 35. I am serious about having a future together, and I usually dated my age or slightly younger. Initially she lied about her age, and honestly it does bother me a little bit (both the age and the lying). But to me she is so beautiful and takes care of herself, also I love her and that's what counts. I prefer her over any other girl I've met simply because she is so easy going, we have an amazing connection and I genuinely feel like we are a team that brings out the bes…

That is a surprisingly simple solution to an extremely complex problem for two countries. Funny how I never thought of that.

These men exist, but it's unfair to say that most men only want to date supermodels. Most men are 100% fine with someone who is their 'equal' in terms of looks of the other gender, 'equal' meaning as in percentage of the sexual market value. Average guys want average girls, but average girls want ABOVE average guys.

The thing is, 'just being yourself' only works if A) you are attractive in the first place and B) you have had a good father figure in your chilhood and learned those Red Pill behaviours and relationship patterns early on. All the naturals I know have had one of the former if not both.

You can have all the interesting hobbies in the world, but if you're not attractive and have no status or money women won't be interested. I used to do salsa dancing, I was in a theatre group, I regularly do DJing and joined a calisthenics group. I was never considered hot and got rejected a lot in some of those groups so based on my experience, your point doesn't hold true. Without taking time to become attractive, all your effort in hobbies is useless if you want to attract a beautiful partner…

Before I had my girlfriend, I had TONS of friends, was invited to all the parties, just very popular in general. I am far from perfect, but communication skills were never my problem and I even work in enterprise sales now. I can close a 1 million dollar deal but getting a girl interested in me has always been very, very difficult for me. It's also not very easy to retain yout confidence when it happens over and over again that you make a girl laugh for hours, and then she hooks up with that "cu…

Hey bud, thanks for your words but I feel like we are saying the same thing here. I just wanted to push back a little on equating 'most men' to 'overly obese women'. The good thing is, the more you actively do the steps necessary to become exceptional, the more fun it gets!
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/24 05:03 PM

You are describing how women perceive men, but in reality it's unfair to men. Most men are just ordinary dudes, they have a job, are good and honest people, untrained and perhaps skinny-fat, a bit shy at first but when you get to know them, you quickly find there is much more than meets the eye at first. Most men don't harrass anybody, have few friends and just quietly live their lives. That is NOT the equivalent of a massively obese woman.

Just like you can't calculate the wave function of a Helium-atom, the SMV/RMV mathematics are just an approximation and interpersonal compatibility is something you can't calculate or put a final "number" on. But if I look at how I chose my girlfriend, her SMV (attractiveness) was taken into consideration, as well as the fact she has a similar job and interests to me. And this is the case with many people I know. Of course, our connection was still a big factor (if not the biggest) but that is r…

I have broken up with more than one 'head-monster', either because I wasn't enough into her looks or the personality was not a good match for me. So I wouldn't agree that good head is all a man needs in order to stay, at all.
