You are lucky in that respect; I generally was unattractive to women, as well. Very antisocial, reasonably plain-looking (just being honest!) and I have a very addictive personality. I don't mean to apologize. I'm just looking at what happened in the past and working from there. I don't feel any regrets, but instead just introspection. Thanks for the words.

Haha, nah man. Maybe I got a bit reminiscent going back to that time, but I've long moved on from that. I'm living a pretty happy life now, and I've moved on plenty. I know I made plenty of mistakes. I'm still swallowing the pill; it's a process, you know? As time goes, and I read and learn more, the more I see myself and my own actions. I was writing about a point in the road, here, not the final destination.

I don't assume that. I don't believe that religion does anything to really change a way a person acts. It's obvious, however, that her religious convictions were affecting her judgement, and she acted in ways that I find to be highly ironic. The atheist doesn't get into the 'licentious' behavior, but instead the missionary. If you think that's the only important thing to comment on regarding this, I'm sorry for wasting your time.

I worked in the service industry for a few years before teaching, and I know completely that. It's been a while since I've been in it, though, and it's pretty interesting looking from the other perspective again. That's good advice. However, how can you apply this theory to cashiers? It's not like they're going to say "Here, just take this box of condoms for free"

There was a TIFU I read about a kid that faked not knowing what a potato was to his SO+her family. They called him out, and he eventually had to keep solidifying his stance as not to appear disingenuous. I totally get you, and I wouldn't just start trying to muscle my way into a relationship. I find the RP groups to be so inclusive with their lingo, and I tend to not know phrases and hyphenizations. What is LTR?

Went home, wept into my coffee and proceeded to slice my wrists with a rusty screwdriver in the backyard. So, typical day. The rejection didn't make my emotional state any worse than before!
