If I know they‘re invested in politics I send a picture of Dick Cheney

For me it’s the other way around. Online I‘m willing to tell, but my friends don’t know.

Even when meeting...I‘ve had quite a bunch of dates via online dating recently. Still no success.

Since nobody has mentioned it yet, you could get a board to play Dance Dance Revolution. That‘s pretty fun and something not everybody has.

Well I don’t have an agile mind, so there’s that. I‘m good at quick logical thinking, but I‘m not witty and often need some time to evaluate my thoughts and emotions.

If I‘d write quicker there’d often be gibberish. It‘s just the way I think. If I have a quick response I will respond quickly.

Don’t do selfies. Have someone else shoot the photo for you or use a timer.

If she doesn’t wanna meet she‘s clearly not interested. Everybody has the ability to make time. I‘ve had dates at 11am before for two hours in between her working and meeting with others.

Funny thing is I do tho with friends as well, not just with texting girls. I need some time to figure out what I‘m gonna say. Not because I‘m worried by how it will be perceived, but because I‘m just slow and careful when it comes to conversation. I like to choose my words wisely.

Haha, I feel the „a lot lower“ part. Had the same reaction during my first time

Yeah, I can imagine other types of neurodivergent people have similar struggles.

Many gifted people do have issues specific to them. This is something most people that never had to deal with this will never understand. We‘re not trying to brag, we‘re trying to combat our unique problems and we won’t be able to do that unless we talk about it. Have you ever had the issue of feeling like you don’t really fit into any social group? Or at least not in the same way others do? Have you had issues in school, where you were bored a ton and later had issues not being able to keep up …

The point is not that it‘s gonna work 100% of the time. The point is that it‘s likely.

Depends on where they‘re from. If they’re from Europe or especially Africa that‘s definitely below average

While the other people here are correct with quiet and confident, I‘d say you can actually do some wacky things if it‘s not to one up somebody. I once got a date with a girl that half my friend circle competed for, after I humped a window mere seconds after I was introduced to her. The important stuff is to not try and play the macho that needs to one up her. Be confident and courageous, but don’t compete with the others.

I think you misunderstood what I meant with opening up. I simply have problems being myself when I don’t know a person that well yet and I wish I could overcome this anxiety. I‘m also gonna think of other date ideas, since I get where you coming from with the critique.

Oh god this advice is horrible. until then she has plenty of time to find another guy if she realizes you‘re doing all this to try to impress her or make her jealous, you‘ve lost already.

Think of it like this: if you don’t make a move it‘s pretty much like you’re rejecting yourself. Take a chance. I know it’s uncomfortable but if you don’t try, you don’t succeed.

I don’t though lol. I prefer psychedelics but those are not particularly good for parties. Make your head spin too much.

Somebody only wanting attention and sex is not a problem by itself. The problem is when they don’t know that themselves and promise you they‘re looking for a lasting relationship.

Guys chill a little. If they wanna do that it's their decision. Nobody gets hurt because of this.

Can we please normalize it afterwards as well? I know so many people that see a relationship as a nr 1 lifegoal and just end up getting themselves into miserable situations due to it when they need to calm the fuck down and accept they can have a good time alone as well.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
