Just saying, but there’s a difference between abortion and financial abortion for men. Abortion, doesn’t really harm anything, foetuses don’t have consciousness. Technically you could say it harms the father’s feelings, but kind of a bad argument. For financial abortion, you’re affecting the mother and the child. There’s a difference. Scientifically they are a parasite, just stating that. Of course, I won’t randomly kill it, if that’s what you’re worried about. I might agree with you on if the man shouldn’t be on the hook for paying child support if they don’t want a child, but that’s the reality if we’re banning abortions. It’s both parents child, why should one have to bear all the consequences while the other runs away free?

“Emotional damage/harm to the father” True, but that pales in comparison to the mother and child potentially going homeless. “Abortion can physically harm a women” Um, even if it does, I’m pretty sure going through pregnancy would be more harmful. “Child support might leave the father in poverty” The only valid argument. I agree that something should be done to fix this, but it’s not totally neglecting the mother and child.

The lack of brain activity, while not a 100% certainty, heavily indicates it. Financial abortion for men harms 2 people who are definitely alive and have a consciousness, while abortion for women harms something that is technically a parasite and most likely doesn’t have a consciousness.

Responding to the political part, while I agree very much the democrats don’t do anything(fuck them), the republicans are making stuff worse. Taking away rights from women, trans people, gay people et cetera. Besides, a lot of the times democrats don’t do anything is because they can’t. They proposed a bill to lower gas prices, and then 95% of republicans declined it, so it didn’t pass.

Well, I do think that men should pay child support in most situations. For example, if a husband gets his wife pregnant, divorces and ignores the kid forever, how the fuck do we expect the wife to cope? But in the situation in this post(Which is probably fake tbh, almost all of these quora posts are fake, it’s not I don’t believe stuff like this can’t happen to men), yea, the man definitely should be able to financially abort

Sorry, as someone who wasn’t circumcised, I didn’t know what other effects circumcision had, and I should’ve educated myself on the topic. The reason I didn’t see a problem without children consenting to it was because I didn’t realise there were much harms to it, so it didn’t seem important. Now I know that there are downsides to it, I kind of realise that just circumcising someone without their consent is kinda fucked up tbh. Sorry for being so dumb lol

There’s a big difference though, circumcision has a lot of medical benefits and it doesn’t harm the penis that much tbh. Mutilating the genitals of woman for no reason is very different case then circumcision. That being said, if there was a similar thing for the genitals of woman with backed up scientific proof, then yeah I’d be totally fine with it. Btw, choosing circumcision is usually a choice made by both parents, not just the mother.
