"Median person" is aimed to mean "hypothetical person with median intake of A" here. That much should be obvious to anyone not looking to shrug off math. If others want to hear, I'll type it up. In short, they are degrading and demeaning. For five hours, I was interrogated, not being allowed to speak to anybody except the people interrogating me. If I wanted a question asked to a witness, they controlled how and if it was asked. I was allowed no attorney. I was allowed a "support person" for emotional support but was not allowed to speak to them nor were they allowed to speak to me.

I think the idea is that there's a dramatic difference in reaction when it's directed at women as opposed to men. The question I have is, why is there a difference? The reason people don't laugh when it's directed at a women is because, "Violence against women is unacceptable." Well then why is it funny when directed at a man? Laugh at both or neither.
