As another 6'1" fit whitey, anxiety "just being in the head" doesn't make it go away. My experiences, my whole world, is shaded by it.

This. Many people in these online spaces are dismissive of anything that says tall/white/fit are idiot proof ways to get tail. Tons of uglies/fatties/darkies are out there slaying

I have hobbies, am well read, in good shape... and I still don't have game. Not that you're giving bad advice, but those are definitely not sufficient conditions to do well with women.

I wish this worked. I'm nationally ranked in a martial art and went to the pan-ams and am not confident with women

I don't wear a watch at all. Don't like the encumbrance at all, no jewelry. I think voice projection should move way up the list, but it's otherwise good.

I mean, a lot of us were at our horniest in our teens and twenties and we won't be able to match that again. People in their teens and 20s party harder, do more drugs, and recover faster. It's definitely opportunity lost for some of us, but we just need to accept that.

Do you have friends who aren't "analytical"? Hang out with them if you do, you'll naturally pick up linguistic habits. More directly, when conversing, be concise. Over exposition will lead to analytic rambling, short is sweet. Ask more questions and give short answers.

Go to the wiki on r/fitness and get on a program and stick with it. It'll take some time but better to start now than years from now; a fit body won't do everything for you but it will help. Also, don't expect women to approach you or give you compliments, even if you're a 10. You've got to do all the metaphorical heavy lifting as well. Good luck bro

I've run into women who I know swiped left on me and would tease them about it. "You look familiar... I'm pretty sure you must have swiped left on me". Good way to keep it light hearted and signal your intentions

This kind of post is why this sub consistently falls short. Summarizing the post is really just "strength and competence are important." Wow. The attempts to expand on this continue to fall short. The post goes on to say that nerdy competence doesn't count, that competence consists in having a model of how the world "actually" works. I'm sure all the physics needs and history buffs would love to hear how they don't know how the world actually works. Strength is then defined strangely as being st…

I absolutely hate this advice. If I'm looking for someone ideal who's: not ambitious, vain, mopes around, content to stay home, etc... I'm still not going to catch one by being the same. It seems the common game is to always pretend like you are adventurous, brave, love to travel, etc... and then scale it back and pretend like bar hopping and a drive to the beach are adventures and that reading a whole novel makes your cultured. I wish that it was okay to say you're boring if you're looking for …

But you said number 1 trait, and now you're implying that shutting up is a method for projecting confidence and not fucking things up. You're not wrong on that front, but it still really doesn't sound like being quiet is the "number one trait" guys should focus on

I was a phil major and love the Jungian underpinnings to MBTI, so that may explain why I'm an INTP and still am an MBTI believer. Otherwise, yeah you're spot on on everything except that I never grew out of my struggles with women 😅. And Larry David is 💯 my spirit animal.
