I mean, I literally just said I prefer NOT having to teach a potential partner the basics. Like I said, I want a partner. Not a servant, not a mother, not some kind of sexual apprentice.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/26 06:26 AM

A partner in life? Why would I prefer a partner without any sexual experience? I would rather have someone who already knows what they like and have accumulated some sexual experience and skills rather than have to learn everything from scratch.

Seems you know more about my wife than me, that’s impressive. You seem unable to comprehend why women would care about other things than fame or wealth. Same as many men appreciate more than just good looks in women.

Eloquent as always. Hats the point in creating a thread like this if you can’t explain your reasoning? I read your thread to my wife, her answer was: “Why tf would I care about a jock or an actor? Im already making more than enough money myself, I hate being in the spotlight and the chances he’ll understand a word I’m saying when I’m venting about my patients or my day at the clinic is practically zero.”

Why would professional athletes and actors be so special to most women?

First of you’ll need to define radical in this context. Simply have opinions that differ from the majority doesn’t really fit the definition of radical. Secondly this poll doesn’t measure changes in opinion in individuals. We have no way of know to what extent the people answering changed their opinions because of their education. Thirdly it could be argued (going by your supposed definition of radical) that liking trump is in fact the more radical opinion. Politically he’s, let’s just say uniqu…

Which parts are you referring to? The WHO definition is defined in detail and the same definition has been used for quite a while. https://www.who.int/data/gho/indicator-metadata-registry/imr-details/4622 Other the Dominican Republic, the US is the only nation to exhibit a significant increase in maternal mortality the last decade. This trend has been consistent for more than four decades. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S089062381630051X When adjusting for various forms of…

Most clinical obstetric research use the WHO definition, which is the same as the one used in the US. The US has one of the highest maternal mortality rates in the developed world, it’s increased substantially the last couple of decades. In contrast, most European countries have had progressive decline in maternal mortality (and morbidity) rates. Hell, even countries such as Cuba have traditionally had lower maternal and child mortality rate than the us (been a few years since my last collaborat…

Comments like this give me hope. It’s sometimes disheartening to see the amount of ignorance or outright disinformation being spread by people using science as a tool to propagate their own ideologies or hateful propaganda. Used to do the same many years ago as a young PhD student but got discouraged by society’s growing ignorance. Thank you
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 01:35 PM

Which would be a valid point if you post wasn’t 100% speculative. There’s not one ounce of objective truth to your statement.

Not sure I understand this argument, mind elaborating? Men are more commonly over represented as victims (as well as perpetrators) of violence in most populations.

Wow. Contrary what many seem to think I’m not here to antagonize. I actually think that a majority of the FDS content is awesome, I did however think the concept of a board like this was to discuss the issues at hand? Iv honestly tried my best to follow the the rules and guidelines here. I’ll try harder in the future, would you mind telling me if there’s anything in particular I’ve written that merits a ban? Won’t continue posting on the subject anymore. Once again, sorry if I’ve broken any rule…

You are right, its monthly but there’s one zero to much. It’s 170k in my currency, which is roughly worth one tenth of the euro. That’s kinda my point. The way I view things when in a long term (in this cause probably lifelong commitment, although one can of course never be completely certain now matter how strong the bond/love) is that you support each other, unconditionally. OP wrote that the man should sacrifice his savings, with no guarantees or without really getting anything back. That wha…

Thank you for the tip! I’ve read most of those posts a while back however, still, appreciate it. I’ll give the ones I missed a go. The problem is similar to what I stated earlier though. Many of those posts argue that sharing is bad simply because the author said so. While that kind of topics/articles can be worthwhile or useful it doesn’t really say much beyond what the authors opinions are on the matter

Yes we did marry shortly after. A few months after he started year two of his degree Once again, I agree with you you as well. If there’s one thing I recommend every women to get, no matter how much in love or how much an HV partner she’s got, it’s a prenup. Don’t even wanna imagine how my live would have turned out if I hadn’t gotten a prenup during my first marriage

Absolutely, I’m sure that’s something that happens way to often. I think it’s great that there’s so many wonderful ladies here who share their experiences and gives thoughtful advice. What I meant was that I feel like this community isn’t very accepting of deviating opinions. And I think that might alienate a portion of the women who find their way here. One example being how pickmeishas are viewed and treated on the board. Instead of encouraging these women to adopt a more empowering lifestyle …

At the start of my relationship with my husband there was a period of 6 years where I paid literally everything. During that time he got his MD and came close to finishing his PhD. I was happy to do it, not because I knew it would benefit us both enormously from an economic standpoint, but because I love him. Most here would consider that to be a HV trait if it had been a man who’d done it, I see no reason why it wouldn’t apply in my case. I now have a husband who makes 170k € a month doing what…

Out of mutual love and a desire to start a family together, at least that’s why I did it. Not sure who would be the one paying?

Unless you parted on bad terms (which by the sound of it, it seems you didn’t?), I would simply send him an email or better yet, regular mail, with you simply asking him to remove the pictures in question. In case he refuse or won’t respond, inform him that him spreading those pictures without your consent or utilizing them in any form of illegal way will lead to you contacting the authorities I would try my best to keep a neutral yet polite and civil tone.

Wow…. This is just sad. A guy like that doesn’t deserve a partner. I pray this girl will find the courage to leave that pig and find someone who appreciates her for who she is. I know I’m in a minority here since I’ve got nothing against swinging, porn, polyamory or whatever else kind of kink floats your boat. But if it’s not consensual and mutual, and done done love and respect, then it’s not ok.

Relationships are complex, as I’m sure you already know, and ending one isn’t always easy, no matter how shitty it is. There mig have been other factors and qualities we aren’t aware of that might have factored in. Not to mention the complexities of love and romantic feelings, it doesn’t always make sense. I’m somewhat surprised something like this has to be explained

Quick fact: Female physicians and scientists have for decades tried to develop a surgical procedure to safely remove this part of the male anatomy, an audacectomy. So far however, despite the brilliance of these ladies, all trials have proved fruitless. All evidence suggest that removal of their audacity is incompatible with male life.

I’m an extremely physical person as well. Before my husband I got my fill on non-sexual intimacy from friends and family. Been lucky enough to have several male friends that could give me that (cuddles, hugs, back rubs etc, only exception would be kisses) without me having to worry about them expecting, wanting or trying to introduce any form of sexual elements. I realize this might not be a realistic option for everyone though

Wise words. I have the deepest respect for all single mothers who spend so much time and energy to give their children a good life despite the pathetic no good fathers who abandon their family.

Personally I’d never date an American man. Worked in the US for a short period and I’ve never felt less safe both at my workplace and out in public. Almost every guy I dated there had this air of superiority, and droned on and on about themselves. One guy even assaulted me and when he found out I was transsexual (we hadn’t had sex or been physical beyond a few light kisses). Got a few broken ribs, broken nose, a punctured lung, concussion and a shattered jaw, I honestly thought I was going to di…

I realize I probably come across as a smart ass in my comments and I apologize for that. I’ve got a hard time resisting the urge to correct people when it comes to medicine and health 😅 Probably because I work in a very male dominated sub specialty and been ridiculed and talked down to for a long time by male colleagues because of my gender. Sorry about that 💕

Just what I’ve heard from a friend in that business. Would also confirm my own experiences of treating patients. Women are more often ashamed of these conditions and find it harder to talk about compared to men. (Like how when a man farts or belches it’s “funny” and “cool”, while as women we’re supposed to be embarrassed.) I’m not saying I disagree with your comment though, I don’t find it unlikely that there’s some misogyny involved.

Maybe its different in the US but I’ve never seen any feminine product commercial like this that’s directed towards women with healthy vaginas (the one exception being pleasure enhancing products). Worked as a physician for 15 years and all the products I’ve ever seen are for treating vaginal atrophy, bacterial vaginosis, preventing varying dermatological problems and such. I did once see a product called “Fresh balls cream” at the pharmacy though 😄 I do agree that the video in the OP has a poin…

The idea is supposedly that women find these conditions more embarrassing than men and by using a women “patient” it’s supposed to make women more comfortable seeking medical expertise or pharmaceutical treatment.

That’s an important one. How a partner reacts when the two of you disagree or argue. But I’d say, at least to me, it’s important who he reacts when we are romantic or cuddling. I’ve had (1) partners just take a few strokes down there, flopping over on his back expecting a BJ and then thinking I’m good to go. Compare that to my current man who gives me a looooong massage or foot rub and gives mind boggling head for 30-60, and then actually being observant on the sounds I make and how I move to se…

What’s mind boggling to my is the way society views the victims of sexual assault. I’ve been called as an expert medical witness to these kind of trials. And the way the defense attorneys (and sometimes also judges) talk about and depict the (90-95% of the time) female victim is just horrifying. I’ve seen some assailants go free despite objective medical evidence such as vaginal and perineul lacerations, bruises to wrists, arms and thighs, and multiple defense wounds. The prevalence of tired old…

Sorry to hear. Glad to hear at least one of them turned out to be a true and loyal friend. I’ve found those kind of individuals rare (male or female). What’s most puzzling to me is how these guys doesn’t seem to realize that repeated, unwanted sexual propositions irrevocably changes/damages the friendships dynamics and trust
