0	Is this thing done right, what do you think? It is satire, mocking the advice like "watch your drink, use a buddy system" to prevent someone from raping you. It is intended to sound ridiculous because the author probably thought said advice is also somewhat ridiculous. 1	Females in science/math fields? Regarding intelligence, the reasonable thing to do seems to identify several categories of skills, such as visual/spatial, and test them separately. This has the advantage of knowing what the number you end up with really means. At a graduate level you are required to write a fairly substantial thesis, which I imagine is hard to do just by studying, but I wouldn't know yet, so you may well be right. I don't think concluding from the participants alone that high intelligence is more likely to be found in males, because, as you say, interest is very important, which has a huge cultural component.
