What drives most people to MRA is the simple fact that they just arent allowed a role in feminist groups whether because they are male or because they bring up gender inequalities on the other side. Peter Singer is the same philospher who argues against animal consumption/exploitation yet here his arguments seemingly contradict his position. We cannot "prove" that animals suffer either nor can we say that all animals exhibit autonomy above their own base instincts.
