Menopause alone causes weight gain and it can be damn near impossible to lose the weight. It changes your metabolism and hormones. It redistributes your weight to different areas in your body. Even if you don’t gain weight, your body shape changes. It’s a nightmare and I’m not looking forward to it from all the bullshit I’m hearing about it. I looked for (and found) a husband at least 10 years older than me to mitigate that. I feel like a man my own age wouldn’t get it. A man that much older tha…

I once heard a gay man describe vaginas exactly like this. If you’re gay, no wonder you wouldn’t be attracted to pussy!

A big one is-they can’t shut up about their ex. Men or women. Even if they’re talking shit about the ex (they usually are,) it means they still have some hang-ups there and would likely go back to them if they could. I’ve seen it happen to myself and many others. Talking about them a few times is fine. But if they’re talking about them almost every day? Run.

YES definitely he is the best and there is an abyss between him and the next best. He is not on Reddit and doesn’t even know what it is, so I’m being completely honest. He’s also the longest relationship I’ve ever had. In the beginning, I was self-conscious and nervous and couldn’t “let go.” But around…year 3, I started relaxing and just letting myself be vulnerable with him and I started having orgasms! Never had an orgasm with a partner before him. I had 8 partners before him, 4 of those were …

That’s a strange school of thought that I’ve never heard before. I am a mother of four so I have some experience in this department :) I know several other mothers who have had to put their own career on hold for years to stay home and raise children. Sacrificing raises and promotions. Getting back into your career after a several year gap is extremely difficult and you typically wi have to start at entry level all over again. There’s several reasons why mothers would stay home with their childr…

He went to see her for an entire night (and the next day) and that’s when it really sunk in what this meant. An open relationship was his idea, but that same night that he came back home, he got very upset that I started talking to another man and it became apparent that he just wanted a one-sided “open” relationship. I went to my grandmas house and he came over, sat down with me and insisted on going back to the way things were before. Since he had already slept with her, that would’ve never ha…

Dealbreaker. I tried it during my stripper days and he was definitely my ideal man at the time. It lasted for maybe…two days? Lol And I was over it and moving on. He told me he would stop talking to her to only be with me, but I couldn’t trust that he wasn’t telling her the same thing or seeing her on the side so I just moved on.

I can assure you she did not cheat first! Definitely not. I can’t speak for her friends, but I doubt it. As another perspective, I’ve been with my partner for 12 years and have never even fantasized about cheating. It’s honestly never even crossed my mind. I do get approached sometimes but I just let them know I’m with someone and move on. We’ve built far too much together to jeopardize over a fling of awkward sex. Plus the risk of pregnancy and STD’s? The pain on his face? Nope. Hard pass. I ac…

My MIL lives with us because her husband cheated on her so she divorced him. All of her friends are one by one getting divorced and leaving their husbands after staying and being cheated on over and over. I wonder how many of those women are leaving because they’re being cheated on?

Hey, there’s good reasons to stay away from certain sex toys if you’re in a relationship! Or at least trying it for awhile to see how it works for you. I’m a woman and I hate (vibrating) sex toys. We use a lot of sex toys, but we don’t activate the vibrating functions. For one, I feel like they desensitize me and make it much harder to get off with just oral. And two, after awhile of not using a vibrator, they’re WAY too intense. Which means that regular sex and oral becomes MORE intense which i…

I’ve been with my husband for…almost 12 years now. He is the most unselfish lover I have ever had. I can honestly 1000% state that I don’t recall anything of note from the men I dated before him. It’s been so long I can’t even remember what they looked like, definitely not what their penis looked like, and I couldn’t tell you much about them at all. I just haven’t thought of them much over the years, I guess. Edited to add-my husband doesn’t even know what Reddit is, so I have no reason to lie a…

This imaginary person is not a caricature. I’m not going to go into too much detail here but my neighbor was a virgin until marriage. She’s a very good friend of mine and is a strict Mormon -wears the long John undies and all. And my husband is very good friends with her husband who doesn’t drink alcohol and follows the scripture. I’ll only share what I’ve heard a few times from religious couples, anything more might be too specific. Her husband always complains to my husband that she will only …

Most of the single mothers I’m familiar with (including my own mother) are not raising their child alone by their own choice. It’s usually that they are the only ones taking responsibility for this child that two people brought into the world. The father usually didn’t care to be a part of the child’s life and a few of them weren’t fit due to not being able to be responsible and consistent. I wonder how common this is outside of my personal experience.

My ex long term boyfriend was 5’3”-same exact height as I am. He was charismatic, confident, funny, and hardworking. We were together for a handful of years and I would have stayed with him forever if he didn’t cheat on me with everything that walked :( I read later that I wasn’t supposed to be attracted to him (and every single one of my “friends” he fucked-he turned out to be Bi) but man, his confidence made you overlook anything potentially questionable and I didn’t even think about it when I…

Most women in America don't get maternity leave at all, and if they do they're extremely lucky to get six weeks at the risk of losing their job. I came to this sub out of morbid curiousity. It's making me sad, so I'll be leaving now. Most women are not as evil as you guys seem to think, trust me when I say there is evil in both genders.
