I considered that, but I went into the evening just wanting to get to know her.

I have only had two girls over the years ask me where my car is. I could just tell from their personalities it was keen insight into how they valued men for what they had instead of who they were. I had another date last night and she was the complete opposite. Wonderful experience.

Asking about a dude's car on a first date is definite, definite gold digger behavior.

Dude. Not everyone here carries all Red Pill philosophy as gospel. Some of us just like to pick and choose like Cafeteria Catholics.

You realize not everyone who reads this sub takes every piece of info to heart? And probably even more are just reading it for entertainment?

Yes, so 2 or 3 dates, max 4 IMO. But some people just aren't cut out for first-date fucking OMG the humanity. Get over it.

For men who aren't just looking to get laid, and are actually looking for a meaningful relationship, gold diggers are pretty revolting.

Nothing, different strokes.

No, usually 2nd or 3rd date sex for me.

That's not really a concern with me. I'm not comfortable boffing someone the first time I meet them.

Sorry but when you're dating looking for a LTR you tend to want to hold off on that.

Wasn't interested in getting laid on a first date.

No way to know that before the date, dude. Anyway, I liked her quite a bit...before she wanted to know what the trim package was on my ride.

Those questions in and of themselves aren't gold digger signs. The car thing? Absofuckinglutely. It was all leading up to that.

Just broke up with my own version of your low mileage sweetheart. Killed me to do it, destroyed her emotionally, but I knew I wanted someone a little more up tempo.

I have a car. A completely functional, aesthetically acceptable car with no mechanical or cosmetic defects. But I'm sure the fact it's a 2002 Jeep didn't sit well with her. Better have a 2015 or newer Lexus, Mercedes or Audi or she can't date you.

I'm sure she would have loved it. They don't give out salaries on that particular dating site.

Disagree completely. The best women I've dated didn't care how much money I made.

Why?

IDK dude. I just want to know if it's OK to go catch up, or if I am breaking some kind of rule. It boils down to: Unsure if current SO is going the distance. Attractive option B magically presents itself. Is it OK to kick the tires on that?

I actually saw red flags well before the ex started coming at me. However, you are basically telling me it is a requirement in a LTR that any ex's who want to "catch up" get a No Ma'am? Here is my main issue: the red flags started showing up as soon as we moved in together. I wasn't looking for someone else, but continued to monitor status of said flags. Now I have an opportunity to potentially re-connect with someone who has no such flags and wonder if it's worth it.

Not really. She basically said "hey I'm moving back, want to catch up?" We exchanged some basic info and that was it. IF we get in touch again, it won't be until she's back. She isn't looking for attention as I haven't heard from her since last week.

I put a lot of effort into making her happy so yeah, I do love her. But I can't control how I feel about someone else. The attraction is there. Am I supposed to just ignore that?

Yeah of course. Second account? Possible, no idea, but wouldn't count on it. She grew up very religious but left the faith.

She had some personal issues she had to sort out. There were no hard feelings. As for me, I did get a raise and moved into a nicer house, but she didn't know that before Friday (although she may have suspected). Fortunately still going after other girls, but this one has been in my head all year.

I saw the guy she's dumping. I'm more of a Chad than he'll ever be. I don't think this is about sex at all, though, because when we were dating it was more about emotional connection.

I changed my location and I've gotten a couple messages already, unsolicited. One girl said I was "pretty" and another one has a boyfriend but is into polygamy and profile is all about sex, lol. Haven't replied to either but couple solid leads I think. Probably gonna mass e-mail about 100 others.

She just canceled. Apparently I didn't "act interested enough." First I've heard of that from a niner, lol.

What about compliments? I actually didn't compliment her at all (except very briefly in a roundabout way in response to one of her stories about getting stood up) on our first date.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
