The issue is that if you're such a person, other people (of both sexes) are less likely to want to engage with you and associate with you in the first place.

There's still an implication that I find her attractive. Women have an evolutionary response of dread when met with a prospect of reproducing with a low-tier mate, since unlike men they can't just ignore an unwanted option, they could get raped. Also "non aggressive body language" is too vague and dependent on the person. It's not appropriate to bother a stranger for no reason and it can come off as predatory, especially since I'm bigger and stronger than women. I would feel uncomfortable if a large gay man tried to ask me out on the street. I figure all women would feel the same.
