Feminism its own worst enemy by ignoring / excusing hypergamy. The only thing that can change is the overton window. Human nature doesn't really change. There will always be selfish people. Sound philosophy is based on what is actually true, not what people wish was true. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/06/18 05:49 AM
Feminism its own worst enemy by ignoring / excusing hypergamy. The problem with this reasoning is it's unrealistic. The whole "If everyone would stop being assholes the world would be a better place! Happy Unicorns and rainbows! I'm so smart!" while 'technically correct' is also completely useless since it's simply not going to happen. The fact is human nature includes that some people will do anything to get what they want, and expecting this to just magically go away for no reason at all is silly. Philosophy needs to be grounded in how reality actually is… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/06/18 12:20 AM
Men face 'double standard' over celebrity lustThat's kind of the problem with all identity politics in general. They are always one very small step away from trying to assign some form of collective punishment against some group for alleged crimes that happened generations ago. This is then used to justify any double standards and blatant hypocrisy of their ideology. It's unfortunate how few people truly understand the point of the Geneva conventions. It's barely even taught in schools these days since apparently it's just "too dark" for th… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 31/05/18 09:23 PM
Why does the Blue Pill hate (unfortunate) virgin guys so much? It's a good moment of peace when you realize that male virgin shaming and female slut shaming are the same thing. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/04/18 07:58 AM
CMV: Given the amount of time they spend on Reddit, the TRP gurus are very unlikely to be successful/thriving men IRL, and are therefore a very dubious source to take advice from.Bitterness tends to include some form of jealousy. "waahhh women get to choose who has sex". Fox and the grapes. Successful men may dislike women, but they are generally never envious. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/12/17 09:04 AM
CMV: Given the amount of time they spend on Reddit, the TRP gurus are very unlikely to be successful/thriving men IRL, and are therefore a very dubious source to take advice from. The easiest way to tell if RP advice is legit or not is to look for hints of bitterness. Successful men are not bitter towards women. Sucessful men may be misogynistic, view women as inferior, or distrust them, but they are never ever bitter. If you spot bitterness in a TRP poster that person is almost guaranteed to be an incel loser. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/12/17 03:08 AM
For those who believe "rape culture" rhetoric is unfair, etc.. where do you think most women learned it?I've always seen the outcry of "rape culture" as being guilty of poor reasoning. The commonality of rape is mistaken by feminists as societal acceptance of rape. This is a false form of dialectical reasoning, as existence does not implicitly infer acceptance. Theft, robbery, murder, and tons of other crimes are just as prevalent...but you won't generally find people accusing society of condoning any of those crimes. It's only with rape do we commit this bizarre false cause fallacy. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/12/17 03:46 AM
