I’m just saying as a woman at the gym, my mind is on hygiene and performance, then getting out of there. Maybe if it’s someone you encounter often that would change. Covid has made things wonky on that. Grocery store though. That one happens almost daily.

I agree entirely that the circumstances depend on if the subject finds the interruption attractive or not. Read the room first.

The problem is that the gym is similar to work, the expectation isn’t to be hit on or made uncomfortable. Keep it light and quick - if there’s interest they will engage and find you/ask you. If there isn’t, be polite and don’t make forward advances again. Always rerack your weights.

If I’m dating someone they don’t need to seduce me, they already have - just pay attention and be nice. If you can’t be nice, be funny. If you can’t be either, have a big dick. Do not ignore the people you want attention from - be kind, be clever, be considerate. People who ignore me get ignored. People who blow up my phone get muted. Matching communication is much more important than content most of the time.

I need witty banter of a dark humor nature to stay interested long term. I like nice, but I need someone I can be a total heel with. I choose spicy over sweet (but want both, ideally).

Talk to them in a way that makes them want to respond. Comedy is the key to most things for me, I love the playfulness of a sharp mind. Make me laugh if you want to make me do anything else.

Well I'll just remove that then. Carry on.

I was always taught single word numbers to be written out, so "twenty" or "eleven", but multiple worded numbers like "fifty-two" should be numerical unless it is the first word of a sentence. Never begin a sentence with a number. Ten seems like a number that would be no more difficult to write than it would for any number below it.

Anyone else irked they used the numerical representation for ten, but chose to write out the age '"eight"? Why is that not uniformed?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
