Tom Papa was on JRE and had a thing about calling all the fat women at the Oscars brave. It was pretty funny reading this and thinking of him saying that.

That's exactly the misogynistic bullshit we don't need here. I've already had to make several posts explaining why people were slightly mislead about this 'tricked' part.

I know. I had to read all his posts again. She didn't do it intentionally, he just told us he felt betrayed and tricked. Same emotions I felt. I made another post explaining how it probably went down. Someone else had some personal stories that shed some possible light on this. It sucks because she done fucked up, but we are pointing fingers by saying she had intent. It hurts that he used the wage difference to make it appear super money grabby

I can agree with everything you said. I wanted to be able to have this conversation from the beginning. I mean, come on, I was there once and I feel for any other guy like me who blindly trusts the woman they are with. My original post was just an outrage over all the sweeping support for him coupled with the hissing villification for her. If I was in a room with the girl, I would have some very powerful words for her. This subject is very serious and I wish I had an opportunity to share my stor…

It's definitely a lie, but the implication from everyone here is that she did it to get pregnant. I think she was like my gf and thought the pull-out method would be fine....oh....oops it wasn't. One thing that scares me is what b.c. can do to a woman. If their hormones get out of whack, they can full retard on some things. Getting inside a head of a girl who is chemically unbalanced is outright scary and something my wife and I are having to deal with right now. There are too many neckbeards on…

This is my final thought on the matter. It doesn't all add up. This is, at the end of the day, not what everyone wants it to be. We are hunting for intentional malice when it appears to be a series of mistakes. I was in almost the same wxact situation and I was mad and I could have made an even more damning story than this one. His emotions are raw, but as time goes by he might cringe that he posted this. We are off how he felt...in the end she chose him, not the baby and the money that would ha…

I already stated I was there once. I am not arguing half the shit any of you are fighting me on. We went through an abortion. This all hinges on his side of the story, but at the end of the day the same shit happened.... Let's look at the facts. He was 'pulling out.' He says he felt like he was tricked. We are neglecting that she may have thought they were good. Nobody is giving her that benefit of the doubt. We are just going off his feelings. She wanted to keep the baby!!!! No fucking way!!!! …

Oh, woah, fucking pragmactic thoughts getting downvoted. This should be the MRA stance. I was in his shoes once and I was able to, gasp, talk about with my gf and she got an abortion. Seven years later and we are married. I have already been shit on from this sub for apparently not doing the right thing and treat her like trash for making a really stupid decision. I still am mad at what happened to me, but it doesn't mean I had to drop all decency in the process. We both learned from it. She rea…

I don't know what this sub has become, but this is not the MRA I know. The MRA I know doesn't just blindly support the man because he is a man. This is what is happening. I guess it's time to officially pack my bags. This sib has officially lost it. I'd say I wish you the best of luck, but this is getting downright as bad as srs if this is how it's going to be.

I went through this. Society dodn't dictate how I felt. I was mad at my gf for having made some stupid decisions. Mad at myself for not being more careful....I felt lile shit because I was a fucking human being. You decide what you want to do and you do it. You don't trick them and then bail.

It was his future child. I don't think a fetus is a child, but the principle is there. Yes, the reason I never posted before is because I had more choice words for her than him. Once I find out he was leading her on and just bailed, I felt the need to let him know that isn't what a man does. You decide what you wanna do and YOU DO IT. You don't dick around and then fuck with this girl's head some more. If I did that to my wife she probably would have had a breakdown and I sure as shit wouldn't c…

I was in a similar situation once, but wasn't going to post here because I ended up dating my girlfriend and we got married. This sub would have creamed me for defending the girl when we had so little to go off of. All we had was your story. I am not outraged by anything other than I grew up around people like this. It's sad to see so many rich people be out of touch with money. If this was about it being a kickstarter, she just raised money for a bunch of girls to learn, but she doesn't see it like that. This more of a cute exercise for them. The extra money was just a pleasant surprise. It means almost nothing to the mother. That is about as much as a lot of kids can expect in help for their college tuition. Playing up the gender …

I think the issue we should note is that this seems to be a class warfare. The poor women are getting the raw deal, regardless. This should be a cry out for both the men and the poor women. They need a real voice, not a bullshit law that won't change anything for them.

900,000.....are you fucking kidding me. I probably didn't even have nearly that much spent on me during my whole childhood and I thought I was living the high life. There is no way this money is getting to the kid. The mother has got to spending all that stuff on an expensive home, cleaning ladies, tuition, eating food out almost every day. That is so much damn fucking money.

Short of us getting the phone records, how else does one show proof. We basically need video proof that they looked at the phone records. Asking internet strangers to prove that the court looked at the phone records seems rediculous, Charles Barkley style.

This was years ago, but it typically would be the simplest of things discussed. Usually it was things that the girls would be doing in their regular life like cleaning, taking care of a kid, etc. They would tend to put a gender specific side to their lives when in reality it had nothing to do.l with gender. The teacher was pretty good at setting a neutral tone and letting the roles diverge from there as opposed to starting off from a sociatal standard of where the roles should be.

Surprisingly my gender studies class was excellently planned out. My teacher used to run the Women's Studies department at TTU, Dr. Gwen Sorell. I just googled her name to make sure I spelled it right and I see she has passed away. I literally just got a little sad mid post here. Her class was not easy due to the reading and critical thinking questions she would put on her tests, but she was damn fair. I was one of two boys in the class. She constantly had to correct the girls all semester. They…

I think your point is important because the lawyers have to go after things that can't really get their client in trouble. They can't get in trouble for suggesting potentially toxic lifestyles or bringing up questionable witnesses. General defamation is a bitch. The mother's lawyer could always bring up a bad nanny who could question the way the father touched his children. This in no way can get the wife in trouble and it can send the man to jail if the situation gets bad enough. These are just…

They do divorce work day in and day out. Parents usually do this once. They don't know what they are getting into so they listen up real good. They'll take the parents frustration and slowly guide them in the direction they best see fit for a win. They gamble unethically and it's why they have their standing reputation. I understand where you are coming from, but you are trying to make a point that isn't there. There was no indication of parents being innocent at all. It is the exact opposite. T…

This is where I blame lawyers. They will convince the mothers that they are going to do whatever it takes to get them their kids. Women will just agree because they want their babies and they are being told that their husband will probably be doing similar things. While they play the offensive, lawyers for the men have to play it safe and let the other side take the first shot because they have the clear upper hand. It's a disgusting tactic and I really wish there was a better way to handle divo…

You shouldn't have to, but carry a picture of you two together. If any stranger comes up to you again in this manner, whip out the picture and give them the statistics of abductions in America. You're implying that all single mom's are either strong and determined enough to get by without child support or they're a useless piece of shit, leeching off the system. I don't know how you got that from this We are here to bring awareness about women that aren't strong like my sister. The thing I hate is that I can't readily go into a sub that has a lot of women and discuss the clash of the sexes. I had actually subscribed to twox long before I got here. Even when I got here I didn't fully understand, even as a man. His story didn't really involve her forcing herself, but rather him sitting back and watching a retard in action. I agree with your sentiment, but we must be weary of trying to draw opposites at every opportunity. It only waters down the legitimate concerns that we may have as a community.

I could not agree more. You would think a bunch of privileged intillects would be able to discuss said topics without such ineptitide. I believe the problem is the sensationalism. The points are valid in many cases, but the nature that they are brought up are just weird. It is like the whole mutilation thing. The points are valid, the way it is discussed is quite pathetic at times. It does nothing to help the image of this community. No need to be smug when you are right.

First, bristol used alcohol to get drunk so she could have and excuse the bump uglies because she (like most women) has no sense of accountability Saying that is the reason we can't have nice things. Are you trying to make us look bad? Generalizing women like that is just plain stupid. I can't fend off the crazy women who come in here because dumbasses like you have to come in and drop bombs like that so they can use it against us. Fuck you for being part of the problem. Those comments are not w…

They may not be more important in an evolutionary standpoint, but they are more important on a reproductive level. This cannot be argued in any form or fashion. You can throw a lot of straw-man arguments his way, but it won't address his point. You will not be arguing about the same thing. I understand your point of view, but the author did make his point clear and I'm not going to argue with some of the simple notions. I can argue the merit of the statement. I can qualify that there are better …

I've been with my girlfriend for five years and I desperately wanted a community where I could further my understanding of what it means to be a woman in today's society. What kind of person would I be if I had no interest in understanding women? How can I expect to treat my woman well if I don't understand the basic framework? I even took a gender studies course while in college. My teacher, Dr. Gwen Sorrell, used to be head up the Woman's Studies department. She reminded me so much of my high …

Another big point to make is that asshats really don't have much room to stretch their legs here. We walk a fine line socially and even though we have some random moments of ineptitude, it's a very functional dynamic. The stupid gets drowned out pretty fast. The problem I have with the other side of the fence is that their 'asshats' are pretty much free to roam wild. After years of trying to have honest discussions I finally gave up due to the pointless bashing and necessity to use fallacies. I …

On replies and freshly made posts, reddit will automatically downvote certain things to check for spam. In many cases they will redact them, but when the first vote is a downvote from a bot you want to kill someone when no one downvoted you.

I'm telling you, reddit needs to watch out with their 'bots.' I consider myself a pretty calm dude, but the bots can get the best of me and I don't want to know what it would do to those who are not having a good day. I'm just waiting for the day when the bots are responsible for someone committing suicide or something stupid. That would actually be horrible with our precious site taken down and the mods up on the stand trying to explain the bot process.

I realize that not every poster here is a misogynist, but I don't understand why the hell those that aren't would associate with those that are when there are other perfectly good subreddits for discussing mens' issues. Like what?

They are not that kind to men because we infiltrated their base about 8 months ago. They have now become a product of our own destuction. It is best to stay away from there if possible. It's their place and they've made it clear they aren't feminists, but they sure as hell don't really want/need our attention.

I'm kind of trolling here, but I have a funny suggestion with how to deal with potentially violent women. Your best bet is to egg the lady on and have your running shoes ready. Whenever my girlfriend, a completely non violent girl, would chase me, I would egg her on and just keep running circles around her. I used to play football so I loved the challenge of a good chase. You have to watch out for the fits of laughter that will come over you, but it is a win-win situation. This way they get real…

The first story seems like a case of the retards. I don't see how any man could just let everyone walk all over him. If he was moving to New Jersey, this should be noticed in the court. I don't see how any court could hear the actual story and then conclude what happened. If it happened anyway you take a shit on your hands and rub it all over the walls and declare justice dead...walking to prison proudly. If I ever got Andy Dufresned like that I would make sure they got a special message on my w…

The majority of the comments in there were not unbiased and I did not quite feel welcome bringing up this point. I don't think it would have worked trying address the 6 or 7 comments I found unnecessarily biased. It seemed much easier to make a new post about it here. In my other post I make it clear that I have respect for the XX subreddit. I was actually surprised how upvoted some of the generalized bashing was. I think it's one thing for a woman to complain in a different subreddit, but to br…

I'm not adding any fuel to any gender war.. I'm not saying your argument is straight up a fallacy, but what you are accusing me of is not exactly true. I was pointing out something I did not expect to see from XX. I was not making some mission to 'hate' on women. I may have been responding in some form or fashion, but I was not trying to make a counter argument that you are implying. They were talking about men in general because of what happened to this one girl. I am talking about what the pop…

I think what bothers me the most is that I respect the subreddit. For the most part there are only good things to read at XX. Granted this is just a few people, but I would expect less male bashing to reach the top of the thread. I expect that a neutral post will top this thread and has nothing to do with hardening up. I didn't downvote you, but I feel that what was mentioned there has nothing to do with XX, they are just plain better than that and I've seen it.

Seriously, look at the top two comments on the thread. I love the XX subreddit and think it really has some great views. I like to share what I learn with my girlfriend and it feels great. There are hundreds of thousands of people on reddit and all of the sudden any small situation makes 'men' look bad. I hate being associated with the anonymous people on the internet who are going around bashing women. I wish that we'd stop being put in this collective pile. I would never do it to the women out…

Get her a motherfucking doctor to talk to about her problems. You can't just leave her. She might end up hurting herself and you'd only be able to blame yourself. Get her help and see where things go.

As a man I would have to say that is a really far stretch and you are giving one movie false credence to the nature of the industry. People tried to say that The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo had a false generalized portrayal of men when it was just one movie with a few characters. Movies will draw gender lines, but very rarely does it go so far as to blatantly sexist.

Sometimes Jo Koy has some pretty good jokes, sometimes not so much. I did find this joke pretty damn funny and now will make ting ting jokes because it's funny. I can't find the one he did with comedy central where his son also loves thomas the train and his favorite train is percy, but he calls it pushy. He was saying how hard it was explaining to people at Toys-R-Us why his kid is yelling 'ting ting' I and 'pushy pushy pushy pushy'

Gay men have had to hide under the shadow of scrutiny. They are men!!! It's the men that have been putting girly labels on gay men. Once they get their basic deserved rights, they'll be standing right next to every other man fighting the good fight.
