True. I'm curious: what lessons in particular do you want to convey to your own brother? A short list of things I want to share with my own bro: the importance of physical training, sleep and nutrition autodidactism: to take charge of his own education and question everything (even me) stoicism: not the Spock-version, but the real deal the usefulness of game and dark triad traits the importance of moral character (to counter the above) and ethics the tactical virtues vs the civil virtues persona…

This is solid advice. I can even apply it usefully in my own life right now! I'll definitely pass it along to my own lil bro in time

"Lead by example" I think you're right on the money. My actions will be better examples than any words I use. I intend to be involved and talk to my brother about RP and other life lessons, but I definitely anticipated the issue of "practicing what I preach." It's a big secondary motive that supplements my own drive to man up and live my own life the way I want to. How could I teach my brother about RP and other life lessons if I myself didn't do it? No credibility is a severe handicap. Haha I t…

Hey, brother. You and me are about the same age. As I read your post, despite being a TRP novice like you, I feel compelled to help you out. Fortunately, in this one aspect, I think I can. Managing personal finances is one of my few strengths. I see that you're already aware of the gravity of your situation, so let's talk about getting you back on track. I think the nature of your problem is spending. The best way to regulate spending is to start tracking your money. Later on, when you're aware …

I hear you, brother. Thanks for the useful advice! I think I'm gonna make a sign out of that phrase, "What's good about this situation?" and tape it up to my wall. I like it. I'll do my best to turn this shit into sugar. Somehow.

Damn, in light of what you said, I count myself fortunate that I caught a glimmer of the red pill in the midst of being in the military. The odds seemed against me the whole time as I think back on it... I came to discover the red pill (I so hate calling it that, because makes it sound conspiratorial...) by chance. If I'm not mistaken, I first stumbled into the subject by reading Neil Strauss' "The Game" and later on Chateau Heartiste's "16 Commandments of Poon." From there, I found several othe…

Law 38, one of my favorites. I just pulled out my copy of The 48 Laws because of you and reread the whole chapter. True, you're right. I'd forgotten the idea that a man can get used to anything given time. In the end it's just a year. Thanks for the reassurance, friend.

Hey, I appreciate the lengthy reply. It deserves one in return: Unfortunately I'm still an E3. Ran into some trouble with the curfew on Okinawa while overseas there...but MOS-wise, I'm a 5974: Tactical Computer Systems Technician. Beyond that fancy title, it means I'm supposed to be working on administering computers and diagnosing networking issues. But usually I end up on working parties doing dumb unrelated shit, like setting up chairs or pulling weeds. I've got a permanent farmer's tan from …

I'm in the Corps, and although the difference between college and military is pretty big, I can relate. You want to meet other like-minded males and hang out in person, right? Maybe cooperate together and improve as a group? Me too. Hell, that's why I joined up. I wish I could help you out brother. But getting guys together...banding together as a group with the sole purpose of improving each other, that's a hard endeavor for reasons I don't know. But I get why you seek it. Sometimes a man wants…

The Only Real Segregation is The Rich vs The Poor "The real segregation is between rich and poor and that is even more true when it comes down to women, never forget that. Rich vs. poor is the only thing that matters in this world, white vs black, west coast vs east coast, all these other "beefs" are a minor, they are all symptoms of wealth inequality, the bottom line is wealth. Rich vs poor motherfuckers." Quoted straight out of the Red Pill Handbook, from the section titled "Red Pill Antibioti…
