Thanks for sharing! I'd understand mutually deciding to make a child, then wanting out and agreeing to fund this as compensation. But if you didn't want a kid from the start and make this clear from the start, being bound is pretty shitty.

Marriage is a topic all unto itself. As someone who doesn't believe in the institution of marriage, I think my big problem with it is that there is absolutely no material benefit to it for a man, in comparison to a relationship that you can just walk away from. If she wants to cheat, she'll cheat. If she wants out, she'll get out. If she didn't want a prenup, there's a specific reason for that (and we all know what that reason is).
