We all complain when they associate this movement with a hateful one.. Then we have ppl like you in the comments. You add nothing positive to this subreddit by acting this way

Who cares? Are we suppose to become whiny just to match the feminist movement? Or should we all learn how to take a joke?

They should get pay the same percentage based on the advertisement and general revenue that particular sports creates for each event.

If a hot guy looks at them without saying anything, he might be mysterious and sexy. If an ugly dude bumps into them by mistake, he's a creep.

This refusal of facts and lack of empathy towards others by most of the feminist movement reminds me of the catholic church reaction to the allegations of sexual molestation.

Comedy it's comedy. no reason to get offended by it. I saw her live once and she was hilarious. This bit wasn't that funny but I'm not gonna get offended by it. I have heard way more offensive stuff come out of Louis CK or Bill Burr and I love those so can't complain now

That thread made me extremely upset. I have always known it can happen to men, and i could imagine how most situations happened but reading their personal stories and seeing the responses they got really made me feel sick

I agree with that too, but i think this is how the issue should be handle, it should be the norm. I hope that when a man does it, he gets the same treatment.

I do agree with what the young turks had to say about this issue. She clearly has some mental issues as this is not normal behavior. I just think that when a men does it, this possibility should also be applied. The young turks also said that she should be in prison for the rest of her life, which i also think its accurate

I hate that they ALWAYS call it "affairs" and not "rape". Saying young boys want to have sex is just as wrong as saying that women who dress slutty want to get rape.

but how do you prove who actually uploaded the photo? a girl can easily post the pic herself, and then just say that she only send it to one guy and blame it on him.

right, because back in the day we used to marry 14-15 years old we should still do that today

Well, if youtube and google+ finally totally merge i guess we'll see a lot of "official" profiles done with silly names too.

Thanks! i will. I just thought it was silly that they refer to him as thunderf00t. didnt think itd be a serious youtuber

We are sort of talking about this in class. One argument the teacher said was the that reason women are less available is because they are expected to stay home, and there arent any societal expectations for men to miss work due to child caring, and that this in itself its sexist/patriarchy/insert-any-other-term-used-by-feminism... What would be the counterpoint for that argument?

Oh sounds interesting. Is just funny that people refer to someone whos serious about topics as thunderf00t haha

The good thing is that it is very clear who is in every podcast so you only have to watch the ones that interest you. He does have some great guest every once in a while.

I agree. Everyone on the set tends to joke around about the issue and some times not take it seriously, but i do think that at the end they all tend to agree that is does happen. I do wish they would take it more seriously though

Yeah thats what i thought too. I have seen many sources saying the exact opposite of what this textbook has to say about many issues. Next pages talks about the wage gap! Should be fun

how misleaded is the feminist movement that this needs to be said?

That article was really good. I really was expecting to see them trying to find the "funny perspective" about the situation. Im glad to see that she even had statistics showing how much of an issue domestic violence is to BOTH sexes.

i really love the last point she made. its not about competing with the other gender, but it should be more about complementing each other.

Is the little things that can help a lot, isnt?. Not that bigger issues arent a concern, but when we start to see more little details like this it makes me happy

I can see that and I can understand. Im more than happy to stay home with a gf and play some video games or watch a movie or something like that, while she might prefer to go out or something. I also understand that there should be a balance on what you do as a couple. My main problem, is that the vast majority of the time it falls on the guys shoulder to plan for a date. Its our duty to make the relationship fun and exciting. It should be an even responsability

I like how she starts the article by talking about needing trust in the relationship and then she tells you to spy on him and his internet history

I Really enjoy her videos, but i do wish she made them way shorter and more specific maybe. I don't have the time to sit through a half hour video
