Society gives off the impression of supporting feminism, MGTOW is breaking from society. Guess that’s the logic. Would rather this sub doesn’t turn into mgtow, but it’s nowhere near as bad as the terf haven that is TIA these days =/

Same with female feminists too tbf. They’ve pedestalised feminism so much that anyone who goes against it is evil, thus deserving no respect.

First and foremost, feminism paints women as the victims. Feminism credited with giving women the right to work and vote, and thus fighting for the victims. Feminists believe themselves to be the victims. Because of this, any movement which is against feminism is against the movement fighting against oppressors. Anyone who supports traditions supports a time where they were the victims. I’m completely against the power argument. Yes, some people profit from using feminism to their advantage, be …

If my gf wants me to sleep on the sofa, the only way she’d be able to do it is if she went to the sofa first. My place is by her side, irregardless of some strop she’d want to have. Luckily for me, she’s nothing like that. It’s not the worst thing, the media normalising it. You get to know lady who might be a keeper very easily.

During the 3 1/2 years I’ve been with my girlfriend, I’ve not been shy about giving my partner gifts, but they’d nearly always be sentimental, things that I’ve made, or very personalised gifts that others may think ??? . Her appreciating them and loving them is a far better example of love and what a relationship should be compared to a girl pressuring her guy to buy them the most expensive bit of jewellery in the shop.

I’ll just point out now that almost half (45%) of the men were rated lower than the lowest rated woman (4.5).

On the contrary, I’ve never met a guy who wouldn’t raise an eyebrow about dating a woman with leg hair/armpit hair. While women are perfectly able to not remove hair there, we’re well within our rights to decide not to date them. With fake nails, I fully agree. I’ll also raise you shoes, handbags, fake lashes and painted nails as things guys also don’t give a toss about.

It’s sad that I’m on the side of whoever is the least degenerate at this point. I don’t trust any party to actually fight for me, so I just go for the one that’ll screw me over the least.

I mean, I’m not going to harm them. If they wish to walk to the other side of the road because they’re sexist, bit odd, but okay. The issue is if they expect me to accommodate their sexism.

Why financial abortions have to be an option for guys. This would become so much rarer of an occurrence if it wasn’t incentivised. If the father could sign away all rights and responsibility, the mother would still have her choice, and she’d have to accept the consequences if she chose to have the baby alone.

I get the title, but the premise of the advert is that this underwear will make you have more sex appeal to women. The woman appears to be flirting and the man appears to be okay with this. I get the double standard, but I don’t wish for us to be as offended over everything as feminists typically were.

I strongly believe that anyone can have whatever preference they want, no matter how ridiculous it may seem. That being said, when your first dealbreaker is a height that you probably can’t even confirm, I do question your values. An example is that I thought for most of my adult life that I was 186cm (6’1). I measured recently and I’m 188cm (6’2). Did I magically get taller? Would some women now be willing to date me because I now know my height, despite it not having changed? How can they tell…

‘We don’t do this for male validation, we do this for ourselves’ Okay, sweaty. I bet you don’t get any female validation (sex) Defining self worth based off how many people have had sex with you…I thought that was bad too? I’d also much rather be a virgin than a slut, so odd insult attempts.

The crazies are nowhere near as bigger problem with feminism as the original premise is. The original premise is that women are the victims and men are the oppressors. Because of this, they can’t ever be a suitable option for advancing male rights. If this is misandrist (and I think it is), then by taking away the misandry, you take away feminism. I believe in equality of opportunity irregardless of gender, thus I am an egalitarian, and not a feminist.

The difference between beauty and someone’s money is that a person’s looks is still them - you still love them. A person’s money is something they own and is not them. An example would be her listing ‘hardworking’ as a character trait that she’d like. I can give my old economics teacher who was an amazing teacher, hard working, dedicated, inspiring, properly made you love the subject. He was the poster boy for hard working, but, as a teacher, he probably didn’t make as much as he could’ve. Recko…

This seems very much like feminism in reverse. While I can agree on most points here, some are just stretched so far. 50 years for false rape accusations and teachers who rape boys? No, it should be the same as if a male raped a woman. girls circumsised at birth? Or neither gender could have their genitals unwillingly altered as a baby for aesthetics. Why are women losing their driver’s licence for not allowing visits? Men would live longer? Male contraceptive pill? Or we work on what’s effectiv…

To you or me, this looks completely normal from the guy, and looks like the girl is a nutter. However, to the veteran daters on FDS, after having dated for so long, they’re aware of the red flags: being a male who exists.

What guys? You don’t need a man cave? What about the rest of the home. No, sweatie. You can’t put your collectible there - it would ruin the aesthetic. Yes, I’m totally a gamer girl and these characters give unrealistic beauty standards. What do you mean that it appeals to a mass because upwards of 85% of the player base is male? No, that’s just because of the misogynist characters, I demand that you change their aesthetics. Certain speakers mainly resonate with men? Ugh, they’re such misogynist…

He could, but you could also ask why the wife can’t get a job. The agreement is he brings in money and she takes care of the home and kids. If my boss told me that I’m now taking on something in her job description that I could do, but would take me upwards of an hour to do, and I’d have to do that everyday without extra pay while she goes home early, I wouldn’t be best pleased. It’s simply both sides contributing, and both sides feeling valued in the relationship.

Thing is, if whatever they’re talking about is ‘assault’ then it’s a likely that almost every man and woman has been assaulted like that. You can’t just alter definitions to your liking. Ask us why we disagree with feminism. Is it because a few crazies have gone bonkers mad and think literally everything is sexist? Or, is it because the whole premise of feminism paints women as the victims and men as the tyrants, meaning that any male issue is looked over, and it also results in hostility towards men.

Tbf, religion was very important in giving us some values which our society desperately needs today. The huge push that women should be treated like royalty and the demonisation of men just affects our youth. Since when is being a virgin or knowing how to cook bad though? It’s also about both sides contributing. This isn’t the childhood sweetheart dating story, but logically asking why a man would commit to being with a woman who holds him to high standards, and herself to ridiculously low ones. A guy who values intimacy and exclusivity would have no logical reason to do the latter two, yet would likely be called an ‘incel’ or ‘misogynistic’ by her as a woman’s past is her past. With the first one, the men that you keep around that want a relationship, so shower you with validation and attention in the hope of getting more? A relationship isn’t just sex, but it’s nice that you’ll accept all the attention, but complain when they say they want more.

MRAs seem reasonable for now, and have very valid causes that they’re fighting for. However, I see no reason as to why a group that paints men as the victims, and focuses on getting men equal rights, wouldn’t turn out the same way as feminism has now. Do we want it to be socially acceptable to be talking about genital fluids, and to be bringing attention to them? Periods are natural and they happen, but it’s common courtesy for the surrounding people to know as little as possible about one’s genital fluids. Anti feminist purely just means you think feminism doesn’t have a positive effect on society. Considering I’d presume the vast majority of us believe feminism doesn’t do anything for when women benefit at the expense of men, it makes complete sense that anti feminists would expect a bill to be split. Anti feminists aren’t necessarily always traditional. They just believe feminism is not the right way to install positive change.

If women are truly fired for being pregnant (I believe that’s illegal in the UK), then that’s not really a good thing that we can blame on economics. It’ll drastically disincentivise women to have a child, which isn’t good for a sustainable society. I’d argue a much better solution would be that men and women have the same amount of leave. It’d reinstate the value of fatherhood, encourage having a family, and prevent any gender based hires as ‘the women will just get pregnant’.

After a very quick google search, newborns already undertake 60 screenings. These will be for heart defects (affects 1 in 100), hearing tests (2-4 in 1,000). I believe OP’s stat on 3/10 to not be accurate, as I believe it was calculated off people who got a paternity test (thus likely had suspicions of infidelity). These screens are mandatory, despite only affecting a small percentage of the population, so any argument revolving around how it only affects a small percentage of the population doe…

It’s not really rare for someone to want either a son of a daughter. As long as once it’s born, you love it all the same, many would have a slight preference beforehand.

What it must be like for the poor kid, living in such a dysfunctional family. If you can’t live together and can’t communicate properly, why are you having a child. The kidnapping bit is also hilarious. The husband is an arse, but kidnapping? It’s his kid too.

Encouragement, love and good communication, as well as a healthy split of labour will work much better than nagging, complaining and moaning. A home is supposed to be where you’re most comfortable. If I’ve come back from work, do a few chores, and then you’re nagging that I’ve done it wrong, I’m simply not going to be encouraged to do that again? People really don’t have to put up with you acting like a bish, no matter what Reddit says.

You really don’t need to simp to get female validation. Also, simp stands for ‘sucker idolising mediocre pussy’, which is why women aren’t referred to as one. Calling someone a simp isn’t anti male. It’s just protecting a brother. Calling out simping is nearly always good too, as it only harms the simp. Simping isn’t doing something nice for a partner, being polite, but instead could be anything from giving a female friend the girlfriend treatment when the women has no interest in dating him (le…

/r/AntiFeminists26/10/21 09:29 AM

Probably not best to say every feminist is a complete feminazi. If we’ve got memes, or funny articles for feminazis being feminazis, sure. With this argument, a feminist can think ‘I don’t hate all men, so these people are wrong’. Feminism is bad due to its short sightedness on achieving their goal. This leads to men being portrayed as monsters/oppressors/the enemy, mens’ issues not being cared for, and women gaining a status of ‘victim’. These are our arguments…not generalisations and strawmen.

Tbf, despite ‘simp’ being overused, it’s still important for simping to be called out. Yes, being a good human to woman and humans in general is good, but pedastalising a woman who doesn’t care about you in the same way, purely because she is a woman, is very unhealthy, not just for you, but for men and women in general.

Some of us will say that the dictionary definition isn’t being adhered to, but that’s not our best argument. I don’t quite think that mandatory abortions would be at all acceptable in any country that values human rights. Just lose the financial incentive (child support if the male signed away all rights prior to a time when the woman could’ve had an abortion), have good sex education at the correct ages, and have easy and free/cheap access to contraception. Beyond this, you’re in serious danger of violating people’s human rights, and giving the government way too much power.

This is picking the mentally insane feminazis and saying feminism is bad because of it. Feminism is bad as it paints men as oppressors, and women as victims, never caters to men‘s issues, doesn’t fight for equality of responsibility, supports ‘positive’ discrimination, and typically tries to take away essential freedoms. We don’t need to pretend that feminazis are your standards feminists - feminism is bad enough as is.

Didn’t the 1/5 stat have both led questions, strange definitions, and also assumed every woman who wasn’t proven to be lying was telling the truth? Now we take that stat, and decrease the number because we feel like it, and now we claim everyone has been raped. What a disgusting mindset. 1) We’ll go with the definition and say feminism is the fight for equality between genders by focusing on women’s issues. 2) Feminism as a whole gives women the hard ‘victim’ status. It paints men as oppressors, and women as the victims of oppression. Because of this, it makes solving male issues much harder, as any focus on them would meet resistance, as men don’t face oppression. Feminism them uses manipulated statistics to keep that ‘victim’ status on women, so that male issues can’t seriousl…

Simply, people don’t like being shamed for their actions, especially if it’s something they could be insecure about. As a decent number of men can see sleeping around as a deal breaker, promiscuous women can find themselves to be less desirable as a long term partner. They’ll then try to shame men to accept their past decisions, as naturally there should be no consequences to their previous lack of placing any value on intimate parts of a relationship.
/r/AntiFeminists19/02/21 12:07 AM

Men will typically only hold you to the standards of being in shape, taking care of yourself and making an effort. The rest are standards you hold yourself to. Our wives take our last name. The joining of two families, and becoming one family, giving your children the same last name, making complete logistical sense, giving the husband a huge sense of commitment and value and unifying a unit is so sexist, and a clear symbol of patriarchy. Feminism paints women as the ‘victim’ and men as the ‘privileged’ gender. This then gets used to completely undermine all men’s issues, and only focus on issues women have. Making bad jokes that are completely the opposite of what actually happens is just braindead. I wonder how many of them would want our sub banned for going against feminism. We’ll be the snowflakes though, ofc

The amount of times on Reddit and irl you see a guy being shamed for terminating a friendship with a girl after he got rejected, with the excuse being ‘he never really valued the friendship’. Also, are we really surprised this is the case in a hookup culture? When dating is no longer a hunt for marriage, and more to satisfy short term pleasures, then you get this mess. Those who reject hookup culture can attempt to find someone early, as they have their standards, know what they want and can par…

In fairness, I don’t fully agree with the bottom three. Child support and alimony is outdated, and custodial agreements should have the default be 50-50 custody where neither pays child support. Fathers shouldn’t have the right to decide abortions. It’s a woman’s body. A man should have their say, and be able to withdraw financially, but a woman should have veto power. No-one should be ‘drafted’. Conscription is an abhorrent violation of human rights.

What would feminism do to support that? If we’re going by the generous definition, feminism advocates for equality between genders by focusing on women’s issues. How is having your gender assumed a women’s issue? That’s like me saying I need feminism because I have exams.

Scrote is typical FDS - they’re anti men, and it’s indefensible. At the end of a relationship, it’s perfectly normal to feel down. You’ve invested emotionally into a person, and now they’re gone. Your life will have to cope without that person. Isolating yourself from that person is good. It’s a good coping mechanism. If we flip the genders, a woman breaks up with a man. The man is upset, and then the woman keeps messaging the man for emotional support and attention. The woman would be in the wr…

Well, having children is a necessity for the survival of our species. Keeping that in mind, we can’t discourage or punish people from having children, or we die out. Having parents be able to spend time with their children allows for the child to properly develop. Babies will often breastfeed too, which would require the mum’s presence. If mothers and fathers don’t have the financial pay, they would naturally put off having children further. This further increases chances of birth defects. It co…

The problem with an ideology that only focuses on one gender, is that they completely leave behind the other. They don’t focus on male problems or responsibilities. There’s no doubt there will be ‘good’ feminists, or those that advocate for true equality. Feminism is needed in a lot of patriarchal societies, like those in the Middle East and Africa, where women don’t have the same freedoms that western women possess. My problem isn’t with every single specific feminist, but what the movement as a whole is doing to the west, or has done to the west. Assuming your ideal world has gender equality of sorts, it’s perfectly fine to simply not believe feminism is the route we need to take to achieve that. One can support gender equality without belonging to a movement which ignores male mental health, promotes the law that means men can’t be raped in the UK, and constantly attacks 50% of the population, and pushed them as the enemy. You don’t have to be a feminist to want equality between genders. You can be an egalitarian, and I’m sure there are…

Taking away friends and sports isn’t going to have a positive effect on your child’s behaviour. If your child breaks your trust, and you know beyond all reasonable doubt that they did, you take away some of their freedom - ability to go out late, stay overnight, go drinking. You don’t take away positive activities like sports or friends, less you have a child that feels utter resent to you, and one that won’t be able to develop properly.

I’ll completely agree with you, but if we look at her preferences, she says she wants a guy with a 6.5-8 inch (17-20cm). A 17cm penis is literally the top 2% of men. Would this person be the top 2% of women? This literally disregards any other preference. Penis size probably does matter for women, but if your preference is top 2% minimum on one single feature about one single preference, you’re making it hard on yourself. Can someone who believes this scenario is correct give some arguments for it? Every argument I’ve seen against this has been emotional for the woman, but completely disregarding the male.

These sexist people and their...joining debate teams. Gosh, these must be the lowest and least informed 13-14 year olds. We need to tell them what to think.

This sub needs more of these, where we can link back to these posts and comments. Almost like an archive.

Sorry, these facts are sexist because I don’t like them.

If the roles were reversed, would you care? Comedy is getting too soft. Even though this isn’t amazingly done, I love the casually sexist jokes.

Hmm, in human form, married men have sex 0 times a day, and if the woman can’t keep up with his demands, he has to leave

Guess you have a bunch of people you’ll just not want to associate with. Just remain strong, have high standards, and don’t date anyone like that. Unfortunately, I doubt anyone of authority will care if you tell them, so it’s sadly a matter of ignoring them, never associating with them, and waiting for it to cool down =/

If you’re just linking to the posts, I’ll defend them: 1st one is saying that women shouldn’t be sexualised, but then they have another post where they sexualise themselves by posting a picture of their arse. They’re simply sexualising themselves, then complaining that they’re being sexualised. Second one is a meme that’s eh tbh. Not to my taste, but it’s making fun of those who lose all dignity to idolise women - something which has proven to not be an attractive trait. This one is why I’m unsu…

Isn’t it best to let them have their own pool of rubbish? I find their sub to be utterly tosh, but it’s so easy for me to just ignore it, no? It’s not like any self respecting man would go anywhere near anyone on that sub

Is he in the idolising women stage, where you just need someone to bring you to reality and start valuing yourself?

And that’s all the killer is known for. I can’t believe a simple murder would undermine all her years of fighting for the mass genocide of men. Women’s work going under appreciated again...

Pretty sure it was a feminist who defined rape as penetration by a penis, making it so that women can’t rape people. I also recall feminist groups campaigning against Male domestic abuser support groups. At least they admit they don’t care about circumcision.

Tbf, I agree with this rule. The sub is ‘ask a feminist’, so you should get a feminist viewpoint if you ask a question. If only subs like r/askmen did this. You ask a question there and have woman respond, and have men say they don’t do what’s in the question be upvoted. The men who aren’t virtue signalling get downvoted heavily in certain cases. It’s like: we’re going to care for your opinion as long as it’s the right one, and, if not, we’re going to downvote you’re into oblivion. The moderator…

Why are you on this sub then? You surely knew what to expect. Would you also care to explain why we’re wrong in thinking this is a double standard, or would you rather just call us cockroaches without any point being brought up?
