| 6 | DatingBoundaries are good. Helps weed out who may be serious or just playing around or may just not be ready for something serious at that time. Dating kinda sucks tbh after divorce and especially if you are older, it's just pretty hard to find someone that really meshes or clicks. Just have to be hopeful that the right person comes along. | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/08/25 07:53 PM |
| 5 | Dating after divorceFocus on yourself and build yourself back up. I wouldn't consider dating in your position or at least anything serious as you still have some wounds that need to heal. I'm over 6yrs post divorce and took me a long time of just finding myself and I still struggle with things today. It's a process, but you have to work on yourself first....and when you feel solid, hopefully be a good space to be open to meeting someone. Good luck | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/07/25 07:33 PM |
| 4 | How to let goIt's definitely an adjustment. You have to focus on you and your kids. Depending on why the marriage ended.. but regardless, still need to focus on you and supporting your kids the best you can. Stay busy, stay occupied with something..anything. it helps. Support groups or friends help also. Good luck! | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/07/25 05:10 PM |
