I'd go further than that. I'd say all decent single men are single. If you find a single man who isn't single then somethings not adding up somewhere.

So, what was the result at tribunal? Can you refer us to the case? Seems unlikely that a tribunal would back an evidence free sacking. And if you didn't take it to tribunal then why not? Could even be considered breach of contract, which would be something you could take to tribunal even in the first couple of years.

Not in the UK. Given it is not possible for a woman to commit rape here (so the law has it), there is zero chance of this situation arising. It simply isn't possible.

You can't copyright your given name, otherwise everyone would have to give their children different names to avoid being sued. Your name is also a matter of public record, so it is not personal information per say. Of course, revealing a name in a given context may reveal other personal information, but if the claims are untrue then no such information can be their personal information. So, it feels like it would have to be a defamation case.

Welcome to the internet. Statements such as 'we're human and don't claim to be perfect' simply have no relevence or meaning in the context of the internet. Rather, accepted practice is to repeat your position with extrainious. Full. Stops. In. Between. Each. Word. This demonstrates the clear cogence of any possible statement.

Crying over a 40 minute walk with a couple of bags of shopping? Unless she was very elderly or disabled or something, that is a huge red flag. She had zero problems, on the face of it, so what would her reaction be to OP offering a lift? Would likely have been a similar unwarranted emotional outburst. Certainly a significant risk of such.

This is stalking. You need to report her to the police, this can rapidly get very serious especially as threats of violence have already been made. Don't hang about, report it immediately.

This is important to note. However, I also note that these proposed laws don't seem to be against allowing people to make death threats and threats of sexual assult against men. This tacit approval of such violence is pretty vile, and ought to be a bit of a red flag regarding the true intention behind the use of these proposed laws. There are questions here that ought to be asked but don't seem to be given any space in the process. First among them, should people who tacitly support encouraging …

Umm, trade union reps? I deal with stuff like that on a regular basis, and I step up strictly based on union membership, not based on gender, race, mental health situations or any other factor. Same can be said for every other union rep I know. Not rare at all. OP should definitely join their union, or start one if they don't have one for their trade for some reason. They'll soon meet like minded egalitarian types as a result.

You could pay the landlord in advance? I don't know of any landlord that wouldn't have the cash grabbed from your hands before you'd finished asking them if they wanted to take your money. Just tell them you might be working away for a bit, so this would be more convenient for you. Alternatively, couldn't you just set up a regular payment from your bank now? Surely most people pay rent like that anyway? Most landlords surely can't be bothered to collect weekly rent in cash in person these days?

That's bigotry for you, it is rediculously blind to reason. It is not impossible to get the message across, but it is hard. Try to focus on individual practical situations with a heavy ethical consideration. Ideally, real ones (no names or identifying factors of course). As a trade union rep I have a tonne. That tends to push people to ground their responses, but it is certainly not guaranteed. Focus on the politics of unity, as opposed to their focus on the politics of division. And point it ou…

A previously male friend of mine has come out as trans, and has gone through that journey. She has indeed had to cope with many a discriminatory comment, but the bulk of it has seemingly come from women. Certainly all the really nasty stuff that I've had to assist with damping down. Her approach, though, has very much been to take a reasonable and encouragingly educational stance, not to go with 'boiling rage' at all. Much more effective. So, in my experience, it seems the author of that article…

I think it's clear this issue is more culturally based than gender based. Otherwise we'd all be struggling with it whereas the reality is only a few countries are.

You know what's really fecked up? A man displaying strength is also seen as something reprehensible. I don't think it's about displaying either strength or weakness. I think it's just being male that's considered the reprehensible element. Though it could just be existence that's the issue here. I'm not convinced people these days are particularly enamoured with anyone else much, whatever their gender.

Yea, that's gotta be hyperbole of a fairly extreme kind. Trying to hold others responsible for your own state of mind is pretty weird logic and if truly believed is going to lead to a very strange psychological space for the person concerned. A real red flag, sounds like OP is lucky to have an exit pathway on hand. I say they should readily accept the offer and flee. Next relationship, hopefully OP won't let their partner become so controlling with them that their own personality is subverted.

You 'win' by knowing when to leave the table before you've bet the farm. If you reach the point where you're surrendering as a stake stuff as key as your own self-determination and your own personality to the deference of someone else, what's left to love? It hardly matters what gender the partners.
/r/MensRights17/04/22 11:21 PM

This. It seems to me that this social hatred situation is really little to do with gender at all. I get why it would seem that way from a straight perspective, but to me it seems that whatever the genders involved, people just don't like each other that much anymore. At least, not for long periods. Same rules for us all. Don't marry, don't move in together and always use a condom. Three simple rules to follow and the path to contentment opens up for you.

Really? She accused him of being robotic, basically being mechanically slave-like. Essentially, him obeying her is what caused her to feel aggrieved. Lesson? A man who is in control of himself without the need to be directed by his partner is way more attractive. Seems reasonable logic to me. I think she has a point.

It really isn't always that simple. In fact, it rarely is. I do suggest it is unlikely to be laziness holding back the abused person from making an emergency call. However that is beside the point. Just dial and report. It is hardly a massive imposition on the passer by, and they needn't concern themselves with the finer details of the situation. The rozzers can handle it from there.

This, kinda. It is very simple. It is about men, going their own way. Just that, no subtext. Of course, each man has his own way which will vary, in ways both subtle and gross, from the ways chosen by others. That's the point. Now to maintain that, a common bit of odvice given is don't co-habit, don't marry and always use protection. Beyond that, there is little in common save a strong desire to be independent from society to varying degrees. It is not even about women (strong clue with the word…

Assuming that comment is related to sex as your previous posts were, it is very disturbed. I knew someone in that game once, and it really didn't lead to a good life for him. Things didn't end well. Seriously, there are other options out there. The new year is approaching. Why not use that tradition to make a change? Life could be so different, and it needn't take a long time to achieve. I suspect because you've made mistakes, not followed the basic rules and got yourself trapped. You are likely doing this out of jealousy. Very important for two men. If ever someone decides to be less than faithful (even if you fully believe in them, we've all believed something that turned out not to be true, so...) it's pretty easy to pass something nasty along. Also, always use the extra safe condoms for anal. You need the extra thickness for that game. Not being a woman I don't know what's best for same sex female relationships. I'm sure they have their methods. Not really my area. :-)

Depends on the laws in your country. If you are in the UK you could take the employer to tribunal. You could also potentially sue the union if they fail to support you. However, I'd start by requesting the employer's equality stats.

It occurs to me that if a person, quite possibly a child moving in to teenage years, felt the urge to abuse and possibly to abuse young children but had not taken any action yet, they would have no option to seek help. Who would they bring this up with? Parents? Teachers? The church? I mean, given that situation I can't help but feel that society (meaning us) has to shoulder quite a substantial degree of blame for the resultant mess. Every time this kind of abuse takes place, the kind of abuse w…

I started out in '74. My family was perfectly happy with nakedness as a matter of course. My mother never wore a top at the beach, and we also had a naturist beach on our island a short walk away. So, nudity was never some taboo. I really don't get why so many people today are so hung up about it. It's just weird that society in a lot of places in the world gets so over excited about nudity and people's bodies whilst at the same time seemingly are so horrified about them. It very much feels like…

Great, but that would be thin comfort when you're in it up to your neck because you only applied proper caution with women. Part of the problem with things like metoo is the obfuscation of other issues such as those in the workplace skewing our understanding of the real risks we face. If we let it take our eyes off the ball, the blow that takes us down will be the one we don't see coming.

What about the mouth then? Clearly more sexual than any organ you have listed, and can obviously excrete saliva. Then there's the skin. The largest organ and hugely sexual. It excretes all over. In fact the nipples are just an evolutionary modification of sweat glands. Whomever came up with that 'logic' was a bit confused I think. Not to mention a bit obsessed with genitals, backsides and women's breasts.

Oh there is, and those accusations need not be sexual in nature. There is a very broad range of accusatory attack that can be employed. I work in an environment where one arm of my organisation is extremely male heavy in makeup and I can assure you that male workplace skulduggery is far from a modern invention.

Seems I basically agree with you then? Though I would refine by removing the word female if I were you. If you assume a man wouldn't falsely accuse another person you may live to regret that trust. I hope not, but for such small effort it's best to cover yourself. As an experienced high level trade union rep I can assure you I have seen many a naughty fib that would have been best avoided by applying basic caution as a matter of course. One addition to the discussion here. This has nothing to do with gender, and so cannot reasonably be seen as sexist. Was the man OK to do this with another man and no witnesses? If so he is a fool at least. The risks of accusation remain the same. Even with a qualified doctor, whatever the sex of the doctor or the patient, they still ought to ensure a witness or ensure security cameras are active in the area they are working in. Without such protections they ought to still refuse to treat. It ju…

The only problem is that the sub concerned is sold as being about liberation when in reality, as you recognise, it is about restriction, limiting discussion and forcefully imposing a predefined mod perspective, or 'approach' as you describe it. The exact opposite of liberation. That demonstrates that the sub is an intentional propaganda trap and dishonest to the very core. Well, I can suggest that you're on the right track switching lawyers. If they won't even talk to you then I guess your current lawyer isn't going to be much help. Just go to another. That said, the legal assistant has tried to get you to commit a crime. Forget about stalking, hacking in to a system without permission is a serious crime in and of itself. Just carry a rape alarm. That way, when someone threatens you with a weapon like this they will soon find themselves having to explain their aggression. They may manage to, but they hopefully won't be keen to embarrass themselves by threatening you again. I wouldn't go get a weapon yourself though. Escalating to a spray standoff or whatever is generally only likely to encourage the other party to escalate and tool up further. A rape alarm is far more effective. One option is carrying a rape alarm. I used to do that after some woman tried to remove my trousers with her teeth at a party. I don't carry one anymore, but I did for years after that. I think it might be worth doing so again. Incidents of child rape from the 70s are starting to get looked at much more closely now (UK perspective, it may well be true where you are too) due to many high profile cases. Certainly it is now taken way more seriously than the 80s when you would certainly have been pushed away by the police. Really give serious consideration to trying the police again. I think a homophobic attack like that would leave the woman looking pretty dodgy to anyone who heard. I wouldn't worry about that. The problem is that you could easily be attacked in a much more effective way, as you note. The best way to deal is to leave, very swiftly. Pretend you have a call, and leave the party/whatever. I had a childhood friend who, it turned out later, was being sexually abused by their step dad from a very young age. They became twisted by this and it turns out became a child abuser when they grew up. Caught and prosecuted, but tragic all round. That cannot be. I may wish to be entitled to something that I am not entitled to. To refer back to the OED example, I may want to be entitled to sit in first class, but my ticket does not entitle me to do so. Desire is not entitlement. I can desire an entitlement I don't have, and equally I can find myself with an entitlement that I don't particularly desire. You are entitled to your right to free speech. Those words are not interchangeable, but they are highly related. There are rights that exist to which you are not entitled. The right to fly a plane, for example, or to practice medicine; these are rights you may well not be entitled to. These are rights that relatively few of us are entitled to, though we can hardly dispute their existence. They remain rights. 'Entitled' is simply the past tense of 'entitle'. If you entitle someone, they then become so entitled by you. There are rights to which we are entitled as humans, and rights to which we are entitled as citizens, and there are rights to which we are most of us not entitled unless we fulfill specific criteria, such as by earning it through effort. To requote some of the Oxford examples: be entitled to something. You will be entitled to your pension when you reach 65. Everyone's entitled to their …

So how do you earn those rights? In my country you are either entitled to them from birth, or you get them immediately upon arrival. You do not have to be a citizen to earn them. Sure you can lose and gain rights, and no I don't equate my belief in my entitlement not to be abused with some kind of belief that I deserve 'everything I want'. Not sure where you got that idea, it wasn't in anything I posted? I don't have to earn the favour of being considered deserving of not being incarcerated. 'worryingly so many people keep such attitudes into adulthood'. You really don't understand. Try reading a bit of r/dyspraxia. When reading, realise that this is true to some degree for everyone, it's just that dyspraxics have to deal with it where as others do seem to be able to pretend otherwise.
/r/MensRights04/07/21 09:53 PM

Again with the proof.
/r/MensRights04/07/21 09:39 PM
4

Well, you proved my point very concisely. Well done?
/r/MensRights04/07/21 09:37 PM
6

No, that isn't. As a dyspraxic I am very well aware that the way people do things, even minor things, is an intrinsic part of who they are. There was a time when I was young that I used to think I was supposed to do things the way everyone else told me to do them. As an adult I know full well how ridiculous that sounds, but worryingly so many people keep such attitudes into adulthood and make other's lives a misery as a result. Luckily I'm not the sort to fall for such toot and challenge it when…

How about appreciating someone for who they are rather than trying to persuade them into becoming your own imagined ideal?
/r/MensRights04/07/21 09:21 PM
15

I'm really not... :-) That said, people do things differently and that covers the whole gamut. The 'right' way is entirely based on personal judgement. Some people live in a house that others would consider unliveable. Who am I to tell them nay? If you don't like it do it your way or live elsewhere. For married couples, surely this was no surprise? If it is then really a bit more pre-marital research should have been done I think.
/r/MensRights04/07/21 02:06 PM
23

Seriously, just because one person does things differently to another does not make their approach wrong simply because they are male. You want it done a specific way, do it yourself. Twas ever thus. Mind reading does not come with the package.

It is true to say that men are far more likely to be violently attacked whilst walking alone, or indeed with others. I have been myself. As a man, I have been called at many times. Also my sister messages me to see if I'm home safe regularly. I get that people are worried about these things but I do think the fear is disproportionate to the risk. Far more so with women though, who are way less likely to be randomly attacked.

Identity politics is a really bad idea, but it seems to me to be promoted in centre parties more than left leaning ones. Strange I know, but I have to say here in the UK our main central party has no clue what a central party is supposed to be. Identity politics was tried in the 80s and it is a really bad idea. It basically becomes a form of cultural ghettoism. Everyone ends up with a nonsense label and is jammed into an ill fitting box by society. It does the opposite of encouraging a proper mu…

Prominent or not, people on the left do often describe themselves as socialist. Thing is, the US Democrats are not a left leaning party. They are a center party at most, and could be easily described as right leaning centre for the most part. There may be the odd socialist wandering around Democrat HQ wondering where all the red flags are but I'd just call them politically confused. There are a couple of socialist parties in the US it seems but none of them, or their political members, would see…

The Titanic thing was down to the captain, not due to any regulation. It is interesting to hear this is a thing in the US as it isn't a requirement on UK vessels.
/r/MensRights26/05/21 02:30 PM
4

Same argument, and it works. Here in the UK anyway. Remember, with such cases in the UK it is the employer that has to prove they are not being bigoted, not the other way around. I assume it is similar in the US? If not, that explains a lot.
/r/MensRights24/05/21 11:46 AM
1

More amusingly, here in the UK at employment tribunal the employer has to prove they are not hiring based on sexist principles, the employee doesn't have to prove anything, even when they bring the case.
/r/MensRights24/05/21 11:41 AM
8

Their employment stats will be the proof. The employer will look well dodgy when they try to show defamation and their stats show they employ mostly if not all women.
/r/MensRights24/05/21 11:39 AM

Heh, one question mi'lud, how many men are they currently employing, and how many women? I rest my case.
/r/MensRights24/05/21 11:35 AM

Once they are checked and it becomes clear they are chock full of women and have none or few men, that argument won't hold any water.

/r/MensRights20/05/21 01:17 PM

Of course there are big differences (and small differences, basically we are all different in a wide variety of ways). That's the whole point of celebrating diversity.

This is called celebrating diversity. It is what you do in a multicultural approach to society. The clearest example is with disability. If you treat someone who is blind equally to someone who is not the blind person will be disadvantaged as they cannot read standard documents. If you expect the sighted person to understand Braille they will be disadvantaged as they will not have been taught that during childhood and won't likely have the finger sensitivity for it. If you recognise the diversit…

Just to add, that 'women and children first' thing for lifeboats is not really a rule. It's a cinematic myth.
/r/MensRights18/05/21 03:41 PM

I doubt that is easy, but it is the responsibility of the child's parents to manage. If they pay as they ought, it shouldn't impact the child any more than necessary. If they choose to continue to treat their child like they aren't response for them, then it will impact them greatly. At the end of the day, there's not much you can do as an individual to make them take responsibility. All you can do is leave them to it and hope.

The best way of securing yourself against being denounced by a woman and accused of something that requires you to prove a negative to defend is to be elsewhere whenever possible. Women may not be keen on defending themselves, but they are certainly keen on attacking. They are best left alone.

As I live in a country covered in steet cameras, I shall keep my hood pulled right down over my face. That's not a problem. Why women find hands in pockets to be indecent I have no idea, but if they think me suspicious enough to be worried about watching my hands all the time why would they hang about long enough to care? I think it best if I just stay away from them.

Seriously though, cowering from someone who genuinely wants to do you harm is not going to dissuade them from their course. Bullies must be stood up to or you will always live in fear. What you suggest is not safety, it is to encourage danger.
/r/MensRights07/05/21 01:28 PM
7

I say flee. The more times you are caught in range of a woman the more likely you are to be seen as problematic and get accused of something, or worse seen as someone they might want to pull in to a relationship. The odds go up greatly with proximity. Make your excuses, then make for the hills. It's the only way to be sure. Why not dodge into a pub instead? No need to cross any roads and you get a nice, refreshing beverage.
/r/MensRights07/05/21 01:18 PM
12

Given the number of deaths on the road, it's a toss up between risking getting accused of something, getting pulled in to a relationship or risking a road traffic accident I guess. Over a lifetime, this approach will affect the odds. Personally I'd rather risk a truck to the face.
/r/MensRights07/05/21 01:08 PM
5

Quite a lot of what they are saying makes a lot of sense though. Don't talk to her, don't go near her, cross the road from her, don't run near her, run away from her, hood down, hands out, push back and shout 'NO!'. Educate your mates. Finally we are all in agreement. It's the only way to be safe.

Don't be too sad, for many other male suicides as a primary cause they'll cite proximity to children I expect. Never move in with them, never marry them and always use a condom. To choose to be anything less than a strong, independent man is to be a traitor to your gender. One thing is for sure, those going the suicide route are some of the weak, dependent men that are part of this problem. I say choose to be strong and independent, and choose life. Be part of the solution, not the problem. When…

No need to punish anyone. This is about civil restitution, not criminal punishment. The money paid... let's say in error, needs to be returned and then the actual parents of the children need to be made to pay for their children's upbringing. Having children is not a punishment. Being defrauded into paying for the children of others is punishment indeed. Even worse is when the cuckoos take the money that would otherwise have gone to your real children, or actually make a person decide they've ha…

Some people, and for society I think a critical mass, are very genitally focussed. Thinking about sex, usually in its most base forms, takes up most of their thinking and so personality. This is true for men and women, but women seem often to dislike being seen in a base sexual way whilst enjoying seeing others that way. Whilst I find such sociatally encouraged hypersexualised sorts to be as disappointing in character as cocaine users, I do pity those women who want to act out in this hypersexua…

Pride is a dangerous thing, as it indicates a need to convince oneself through gaining validation from others. It can be an attempt to self-validate or to 'convince oneself' but this is similarly problematic. As the great maritime philosopher once said, I am what I am. I accepted that fairly early on in life and have moved to build upon it rather than to continually wring my hands over my own existence as many seem doomed to do. I don't need the approval of others to take this path either. I nee…

Unions are, or should be, about the worker, sex and colour be damned. No union benefits from alienating half of its current and potential membership. How could they? Your post doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Please, tell me why you think it is to the benefit of a union to act this way? What's the logic behind their taking such a position in your experience?

Clearly no sensible man would fall for such an obvious 'car breakdown' hero trap today, let alone in a few years. It's like that well known con in some Asian countries where an elderly woman will 'collapse' and then sue your arse off when you go to help. Being both elderly and female, she immediately gets believed in court. These tricks only work on the weak minded these days, most men are too savvy to fall for them. In the case in the OP though, it is clear we need to start wearing cameras in p…

Go to your union. If you're not a member and prefer to go it alone, I guess you go to the pay negotiation on your own and do your thing? Or, go trans(vestite) on one day a year and force people to start thinking.

Everyone can get sex. It's very widely available and even if you have to pay it can be had. An incel is someone who can't get a relationship with someone, the sort of relationship they imagine they want. No-one needs to 'identify' as an Incel, they just need to stop trying to define themselves by society's permitted relationship model. Don't let them move in, don't get married and use a condom. Follow those simple relationship rules that we all know here and have all the sex you want.

I strongly disagree. It is everyone's duty to challenge bigotry when we see it. I don't pretend that it's easy and won't affect us, but it is an essential obligation I'm afraid. However hard it might be. To fail to challenge bigotry is to give it tacit approval.

I think you'll find that's exactly what the men are doing here. Rebelling. Same thing, for different reasons, happened after the last war. Less men making less workers leading to less competition in the employment market. In the UK anyway. I also see people increasingly attacking (if a bit blindly) the sources of cheap labour (Brexit). That may not be very practical, but it does show willing. Another part of the 'problem' though, is that men are just better at sex and nicer to have a relationshi…

Hmm. I recon we need a 'Fuck other men, it's cheaper!' campaign. Reality is though, pay cheques are not keeping up with the needs of the work force. In my grandfather's day, one pay packet was enough to fund a family. Women who want kids should be able to support them with their own pay rather than needing the state to plug the gap and essentially subsidise the employer's costs for them with our taxes that should go to fund public services. Employers should be ashamed that they have allowed this…

Are you in the UK? If you don't have a recognised union at your works, join the largest relevant one for your trade. Then get your work mates to join. Remember recognition is not done on a per employer basis but on a per site basis, so if you can get 50% of the staff on a single site to join up, the union can force recognition on that site. That aside, even an unrecognised union can represent you in grievance (or disciplinary for that matter) so you can raise an equality grievance with full repr…

Remember, employment tribunals are free. If the employers in your area are so extreme, you will be able to take them down (if you do the job well). With equality issues, the employer must prove (to balance of probability) that they are not discriminating based on protected characteristics such a gender. Even an unconscious bias is unlawful. You don't have to prove a thing. Consider contacting ACAS for a chat if you aren't a union member for your trade, but your union is always best.

I think society has been oppressive since its inception in one form or another. I guess that's just human nature. Weirdly you have to get parental consent to marry before 18 in most of the UK but since eloping to Scotland dodges that law it doesn't really have teeth. I agree though, that it would be best to be able to take a different view of borderline cases. I slept with my 16 year old girlfriend at age 18. Well, in the UK at least the authorities try to put the children first (though not always with great success of course). The child protection services get a lot of stick if they just drop a child into a confirmed rape risk situation. They do mess up, but the media then rips them apart. You don't get to keep your kid if you're a drug addict here, let alone a child rapist. I have to say I doubt a politician would lose many votes by keeping children away from rapists. Hey, I'm not saying they can't change for the better, I'm just saying it seems a bit twisted to use a young child as the canary to test a rapist. Supervised visits seems a better idea to me. Still, I would have thought amongst all those rights somewhere the child would have the right not to be locked in with a child rapist each night.

I know it can vary, but 16 is the age of consent in the UK so going by the logic over here, and by your comment, she was the adult and he was a child. If you are adult enough to consent to have a child, you are an adult. A 16 year old with a 15 year old or something I get, it's technically rape and is wrong, but it really isn't the same. A 16 year old with a pre-teen though is very revolting.

Kinda wondering, if the child's wellbeing is the priority here, why are they being brought up by a rapist? Nope, that's simp talk. MGTOW men who choose not to hook up with men or women for sex only are volcels. Not all men are sex focussed and once you've decided a relationship is not a good life plan, for some sex is either no longer or only rarely desired. Those MGTOW who like a lot of sex find there's always other men and women out there waiting for sex too. No need to wait for someone else's permission, it is already given. Only a simp waits on another to make their choices for them.

I disagree in some respects. A fist to the gut is far worse from a man who works out than from most women, and getting someone to listen is much harder. No-one wants to listen to some 'squabbling gays' when they have some proper female victims to look after and collect political brownie points with. In some countries, such as mine, the courts do openly favour women due to various outdated beliefs about women being natural child carers and men being a violence risk. And the law can be a bit different about these things with women with regard to children etc. The big problem gay men will have is that the courts are less predictable when both parties are men. The big benefit is that gay men will never be caught out with a surprise baby. The big problem for bis is that they get every type o…

This exactly. Sarcasm aside, there is about as much need for sex specific lavatories as there is for sex specific cars. Beggar all.

I don't think we should give up simply because we can't achieve the perfect world. The only way it will ever be different one day is if we strive for change today and stop following the senseless rules society tries to impose on us. Change comes out of taking action, not out of hope alone. If you don't make people think, they will continue to believe the indoctrinated hate, self or otherwise, they were unthinkingly and unwittingly fed as kids. Start changing minds in schools and perhaps their ki…

Yes, but it needn't be. Young children don't care, until they are taught to feel shame for their bodies. I prefer the German approach to public nudity. The Swedes have unisex toilets and I've even seen unisex public toilets arriving in the UK in a he last couple of years. Heck, I grew up walking distance from a naturist beach in England. No-one cared, everyone just did their own thing. Why on earth do otherwise? For what purpose? This is all nurture. There is zero evolutionary need for body sham…

I mean, quite a lot of others are going that way too, including Christ. I'm not saying this isn't the best way for you, just that Jesus did say about himself that 'I am the way' and there's often a lot of received wisdom in Christianity. If you think about it, isn't Christianity about not just going your own way and instead following the theological ideas of others?

That is a problem. People need to get over these gender fixations and just accept that everyone is a bit of a mix. The need for gender based lavatories is only so people can reassure themselves they fit in an imaginary box.

I don't know, I mean 2 GN bathrooms seems over the top. Surely there will be less GN than there are F or M? Since in M there will be urinals, there are probably as many F lavatories as there are M, and though less GN lavatories there are probably more per GN person than either F or M. Unless you have a lot more GN than expected in your building? Personally, I think it would be easier if GN used whichever, F or M, they find most appropriate. Either that or make all of them GN. Seems to be yet ano…

Better than that, stop worrying about what other people think of you and whatever silly box they try to put you in. GO YOUR OWN WAY! When you do that, you'll not keep worrying about the contents of other people's heads. You can't take responsibility for the minds of others, just keep working on your own.

Then the court system should not assume the party accused is violent unless the they can prove otherwise, the accuser should be expected to be the one who must make their case and to show it proves balance of probability. Except you admit that does not happen and that a court will assume the accused is indeed a risk by default unless they can prove otherwise, despite initially claiming courts don't work on the basis of assumptions? You appear to undermine your own argument.

It is supposed to be considered on balance of probability. With no evidence from OP, balance of probability might be in her favour. Being violent to her partner may not be considered as evidence that she is likely to abuse her own child, which is a much more serious offence. After all, if she's been guilty of DV to her partner 5 times over a significant period with still no signs of harm to the child, wouldn't that be evidence that despite her offenses to her partner she is no risk to her child …

Indeed. That said, do not let your guard down even when dealing with a man. So, I remember the time a male junior staff member of mine was called in by the fairly big boss and I was asked to come along. They had been overheard by another staff member saying something which the person that overheard thought was derogatory. I had been present though and it was certainly the case that my junior had been misheard. The problem was, though, that my junior was immediately accused of racism. Now, the ac…

Obviously the Chinese don't know what having a neighbour from hell is like. After a few years of that, joining up seems like the peaceful option. Also, I think that learning to use a gun idea is of limited use unless you happen to be from the US. Walking around with a shotgun or rifle isn't practical, and legal hand guns aren't available to most people. Hmm, I'm not convinced money and health alone would do it for me. Oh, one more thing, don't forget to search for the fire movement on the web too. It's huge. There are a lot of variants, you can choose less extreme or more extreme dependent on which version of fire you follow, but in truth they are all tweakable to suit you personally. As ever, go your own way.

Yep, that's a tricky one. Now this will seem controversial to some, and some will see it as victim blaming, but part of the reason you feel as you do is your fault. This is good though. If it were all the fault of your partners, you would be doomed. Reality is you can take back control of yourself. Don't let anyone other than a blood relative tempt you to become emotionally dependent on them. Once that happens you will no longer be going your own way, and soon you'll be looking to buy them that …

You're handing her a gun, and you'll only get out in one piece with her permission, so you better have rolled a 6 when you picked her. But, don't do these things and there's nothing wrong with a relationship with a disarmed man or woman (whatever your preference that day). Just keep it light. Don't seek to control her, and never let her get in a position wher…

This is not necessarily true. There are plenty of women out there who don't conform to the stereotype that society pushes on them, just the same as with men. The problem men have is that you just can't tell one from the other due to all the dishonesty in sexual politics today. Women have a similar problem, though at least in the west they have the legal system behind them. That isn't true in all parts of the world though. But... she's clearly a lunatic? I mean, she will be out in 3 years, well probably 1.5 if she behaves well for a while, then what? Do we really think she'll lay off the murdering after being shown how a slight slap on the wrist is the result? Mind you, she's not going to get sane whatever the sentence. She needs to be held in a facility for the criminally insane so she can be treated, and only released when she's been appropriately treated and it is safe to do so.

This. Look, for me it is obvious I can have a partner if I choose. It certainly wouldn't be the first time. The result was that people would keep wanting to 'encourage' me and when I would draw a clear line would act confused and would try to rationalise it by helpfully telling me I was 'broken' or some such nonsense. As I've got older though, I've found people tend to keep their noses out. Just wait a while. Folks will give up eventually.

OK, so this entirely depends on what you mean by 'plenty'. On the face of it, they're happy doing something, you're happy doing nothing, all's fine. Except they are trying to discuss this with you for some reason. People generally don't care much about what others do unless it affects them or unless they are invested in you because they are a relation or want to be. Others may point out a problem they see coming for you, but they will give up pretty quick. But... 'plenty'. By 'plenty', do you me…

Yea, good point about never getting married. I'm British by the way, but I do none of the above. I was engaged. She spent like a demon and got offended when I pointed out the problem with the debt she was aquiring. We are no longer engaged, huge red flag, I went my own way.

This is always the way, well either you both pay or you take turns. To pay for the woman each time is to assume they need you to support them as they are female. This is pretty sexist, and whilst I am MGTOW I am also not in to treating women as if they are somehow less than men. I know that the US may be different, but in many places this kind of patronising behavior has largely gone the same way as holding doors open. Frankly, women where I live generally see this as an insult and I fully agree…

As far as women are concerned, don't over think it and don't let them move in to either your personal space or your head space. Keep it light and uncomplicated and you'll do fine. As far as life is concerned, you need to know what success means to you. Once you reach it you can be content, and contentment is the goal in life. If you go past that point, you will only become more stressed. Unless you have defined success, with a definition you can reasonably achieve of course, you have no defined …

Well, sorry but you should move over here, to the UK. Every Brit apologises in almost every conversation, male or female. So much so it is not uncommon for a Brit to use the word sorry multiple times in the same sentence even when everyone in the conversation knows full well there's nothing remotely requiring an apology that's occured. Basically, we're all desensitised to the term which I guess is kind of the point. When you steal one country after the other for so long, you tend to start with '…

Simples. Once a day, just before bed, issue a catch all general apology for anything and everything you did that day. All boxes ticked. It's kinda like Catholicism. You can do as you please as long as you confess regularly. You just have to do it more often with women as God isn't as judgemental, so you can't leave it until Sunday.

Look, relationships are difficult, very difficult. With relationships you have at least doubled the chances of someone making a mess of the situation. There's no way either party can know if the relationship is right for them going in, and if it doesn't work then discovering that can take many years and often a marriage and kids first. Keep in mind that there are far more people out there who aren't compatible with you than those who are, and even those who do find someone compatible will almost…
