Question For MenAndyCat9/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 12:04 PM

Thank you for the answer; it's a very interesting break down. Would you say the only reason to date is sexual attraction then? Would romantic attraction on zero testosterone still not apply?

You say nothing would change as if men and women live perfectly synchronous lives. This question gauges the depth of the male understanding of womanhood and encourages hypothetical thought that uses biases of what it means to be a woman from a very personal and subjective perspective. Every answer, including the ones that say they can't answer, gives me insight into what I was pondering on. This is not a lab experiment with a control group and strict definitions, there are flaws to this question…

Not self absorbed at all. I agree completely! Everyone is a book and gosh I want to read it all 😍

An interesting point you raised - that you would have to consider the insecurity of men shorter than you.

I love that. You're answering a question I have asked the in past: "Would you date yourself?" Interestingly, a lot of people struggled to answer that question as well - providing reasons such as "I'm not gay". 😂 Now I ask you, what is it about yourself that you would love if you were a straight woman?

I'd love for you to humour me. No real answer needed; a hypothetical answer works just as well! Please allow yourself the grace to assume what you as a woman would want.

Sir, this is a reddit. Intellectually cannot be assumed, only appreciated when it shows up.

LOL I'm sorry! 😘 I can talk all day about men with gay men! But it's the reason I'm less curious of those responses 😜
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 12:39 PM

Your response is also an answer to my question which satisfies my curiosity of how this question would be answered. I'm curious to see how it plays out when I ask the inverse to this question at some point. If something is fun, it cannot be meaningless! 😊
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 12:37 PM

It's not meaningless simply because it's hard. At the very least, it allows me to judge the level of hypothetical thinking in the sample size of the responses: to which degree are men able to answer this question? How well can men put themselves in a woman's shoes when they speak for women? et cetera, et cetera~ I'm aware of the limitations of both the mind and the societal pressure of being afraid of coming across as too gay that inhibits men from answering this question in the fullest capacity…

It seems like you're giving me the bare minimum of what you'd accept in a man. I'd love to see if you can give me your ideal man? As a woman, would you want him to be taller than you to show him off the friends? Do you want him to hug you and comfort you and be emotionally available?

100% I would argue that her emotional immaturity is also a lack of emotional intelligence. She would have acted immature because she was not able to understand that her insecurities are her own to deal with.

All I'm saying is if I'm crying, I would like a partner who gives me a hug. If the immediate response to be defensive and try to justify why it wasn't their fault I'm crying and how I'm letting my emotions get the best of me, then that's too messy for a relationship.

I can write a whole book on emotional intelligence, but there are some things I can put down (writing for myself): I have a hard time controlling my emotions, but I am no less logical than you. I can cry if I hear my partner cheated on me in their dream, but I know it's a stupid dream. A non-emotionally intelligent partner would tell me to get over it because it's just a silly dream, therefore dismissing my emotions. An emotionally intelligent partner would hug me and apologize, not because they…

I relate so hard to this. I feel like I can never answer a question for men or women 😭
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 10:39 AM

It does! To the point both parties are comfortable. My partner and I freely use each other's phones and computers, but only because both of us trust one another. I've never cheated before, but have been cheated on several times (different exs). It happens, it hurts, but you leave and find someone better. I'm still hurting from the betrayals, but I also know my self worth and the worth of a pursuit for a loving and trusting relationship. I understand the plight of wanting to be sure your child is…

I don't know what the heck is going on in your dating life, but usually when I'm with someone I give them my absolute trust, because two people with absolute trust for one another is a beautiful thing and my lifetime goal. Someone who wants to test our child shows me a complete disregard for the trust and love we built. I want to be with someone who is capable of trusting and loving the world, not someone who is insecure I cheated on them. It spoils the beauty that is bringing a child into this …

Some of my exes: - Met at a play - Met in class - Met in a cafe - Met at a park - Met in a D&D game with new friends Pretty sure women will talk to anyone who seems kind and approachable enough. From my experience, women don't hate people who think they're attractive enough to be worth asking out. Just don't be 20 years older than her, or entitled to a yes, and make sure to make proper conversation first. If it feels natural and conversation flows, ask her out. If not, then feel mildly sad and m…

This generalization is far too broad. At some point compliments from strangers start feeling fake, and that the only people who truly see you are your close friends and partner. When someone sees you for who you are, their compliments mean so much more than people who just see your face and fawn over you. If I want online validation I'll just post a selfie; but nothing compares to the love I see in my partner's eyes when I get home from a long day at work; it's validation that doesn't always nee…

Literally the reason I'm non-binary. It's my feeble attempt to be the most authentic person I can be. Most people are acting: from clothing, to the way they walk, to speech, to hairstyle. Men act like men, and women act like women; some men act like women and vice versa. It's a script we follow because society is easier on us if we blend in. It can be rough sometimes because people judge those who don't conform, but it's fun to just try to be authentically me. We are souls navigating physical ve…

I have always suspected red pillers have stunted cognition in certain social aspects that - combined with a lack of guidance and direction - lead to becoming a red pill... speaking as someone diagnosed as autistic.

Where are you getting these stats from? You need to get out of the house and meet people. I meet both men and women living a fulfilling life daily. Parties are often pretty unisex and so is the workplace depending on the job.

It is not what I am talking about, and I don't understand how you concluded I'm trying to say you should force love or sex on anyone as a solution. I have a 19 year old daughter. I most definitely educated her on sex and safety around it. Her decision on what to do is her own. Information and education does not exist in a vacuum. These things need to be discussed and she needs to understand how her life in society will be affected based on her actions. To say we cannot debate the topic of sex un…

You're asking what there is to debate about society in terms of sex? I need you to know my stance on this: I'm a sexually liberated individual who believes who a person has sex with is their own business. I got a body count and it's nobody's business. I also respect who anyone decides to get kinky with whoever else. This however, does not mean we shut down discussions regarding public health (STIs), marriage (poly relationships), Unplanned and teen pregnancies, hook up culture (safety), and sex …

I agree with that, but I disagree that you cannot have a debate over it. I am fully supportive of a system that prevent known and guilty pedophiles from having children.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/26 06:03 PM

I get what you're getting at, but love and sex shape family structures, public health, population dynamics, and cultural norms; I think this makes it so society inherently has a stake in them. But should people stop judging me for who I sleep with? Yes. Yes they should. 🥲

I might agree that a lot of women like their partner to be taller than they are, but it's not the deal breaker RPs think it is. Also, women are on average shorter than men, you specifically are a good height.

How did you go so long without realizing that height doesn't matter? I have a large friend group of about a dozen couples from across the world: Canadian, Italian, Brazilian, Filipino, Sri Lankan (Tamil), Columbian, Ecuadorian, German, South Indian, Vietnamese, French, and Trinidadian. Sorry, but only 1 man in that group is over 6 feet, and he's the only one never in a relationship. Everyone else averages 5'9", with the shortest about 5'5". Anyone who thinks 5'9" isn't tall enough needs to just …

I have a friend I hang out with twice a year. He leaves the house twice a year - to spend time with me... My god, his world view is so interesting! It's not even based on reality, just based on the internet sphere and VRchat echo chamber. We always spend the entire day arguing. I hope he enjoys it as much as I do! lol But when it comes to things like dating... my information is literally from my own dating experiences and from spending time with my friends. His is from what he's read and what hi…

Can I just say, I don't think most women think like this. My 2 cents... People generally just want to find a best friend to live a happy life with. I don't think it's crossed my mind to be embarassed about a partner of mine. If they're (male or female) an ugly loser with no social skills, if they make my life happier and the lives of the people I love happier, then it's a win. We shouldn't perpetuate the judgement of who women date like this... It's very toxic and hateful. Let people be happy an…

lol sex is a reward and the evidence is men who "deserve" it get upset if they don't get it? What is a man who deserves sex? ... and men who are unemployed and addicted to drugs don't deserve sex? Most of those men just need job opportunity and drug use intervention. I couldn't read further... Your take on this is so wild. lol
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 12:52 PM

Excuse my uneducated understanding of this, but this seems like a very blue pill take, and how many women would love to enter a relationship. Yet, your label under your name is red-ish pill man. Why? I feel like I don't fully understand the pill colours yet and what they mean 😅
