So, is it more of a strawman then? To say this is what "Divorce in the 21st century" is isn't true. This comic isn't evidence that these are like it it's (badly) telling the story of a bad divorce and then OP is using it to say all divorce is so biased. Let's get some evidence to try and prove that it is actually like this rather than some give and take across the board.

Very strawman. You can pick so many examples of divorces that went sour but if they all come from a sample of /r/mensrights visitors then it's going to be very biased. Let's try and get some data up in this badboy.

we don't know their sources but that isn't a reason to say it's shit/wrong because we're too lazy to check

wow, so DOWN WITH FEMINISM BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T SAY IT WAS SPECIFICALLY RAPE RAPE, I thought it meant rape seed
/r/MensRights09/12/15 09:33 PM

NO OF COURSE NOT, I'm saying that the stats say 1 in 6 women are raped, not that I rape 1 in 6 or that 1 in 6 men rape, but that isn't what the infographic says
/r/MensRights09/12/15 07:20 PM

Well no, but it is fairly implied because of social norms. Whilst I can agree that it isn't ok to assume we know I think it'd be pretty petty to have that as your issue with this graphic

Yep. I did make then up on the spot. That's why I said guessing but it's actually a really large percentage. I'm not saying it's true in this case but in the majority, despite large adversity it is better to be with your parents than nobody/somebody else
/r/MensRights11/09/15 12:12 AM

No. I appreciate that. But you'd be surprised what the evidence suggests. Maybe not cocaine use but generally

Evidence suggests that to an extent that children are better off with their parents like.... guessing... 90% of the time. It's huge how important, even if they're bad parents, they are to their children

Lung is picked up late and is damaging and quick to move about to other places (brain and bone). Prostate is a cancer which kills sooooo few people because it is so slow to metastasise that we don't even bother doing it. Breast is very deadly but received far more research funding than other dancers which are more devastating but not prostate of all things
/r/MensRights09/02/15 08:27 PM
1

28,000 isn't that many. I'm sure far more died WITH prostate cancer than died from it. We should be researching all cancers inc. Lung bowel and breast Cancer which have the highest mortalities. What we find out for those will save more lives and will also inform our care of other cancers.
/r/MensRights09/02/15 08:24 PM

Prostate cancer rarely kills. It can, but we should be looking into things that kill people; like lung cancer, breast cancer

I think it's is something we could all approve of. In training to be a Doctor one would learn how to take a medical history from a patient. This involves asking lots of questions, and one part is about family history. "Are your parents still alive?" No, they passed away "Are there any conditions that run in your family?" Errr, yes my dad had breast cancer "And do you have any children?" Yes they are well. If one were to hear they would then write in the notes both parents dead mum breast cancer …

Yeah that's a fair point, but in some schools uncircumcised people are bullied, that's bad. In some places Circumcised people are bullied, you don't want those reactions but their almost inevitable in our society with only these minor differences to something so important

Good luck bro. It's not long, about 4 weeks until careful handjobs or masturbation only rhe shaft were possible, I then didn't see my girlfriend until 8weeks after OP, but probably by 6 was okay, depends when you feel okay and stitches are out

I hadn't thought about that last point, like getting with a girl and having one ball. Interesting, I don't know, thankfully I won't have to worry about it at my age in my circle of friends/gfs. Blowjobs are different!

Very similar, I wouldn't say identical, but very similar. I don't know if you're cut or uncut, but sometimes when uncut the foreskin can play a part in the tickling the head action, but that's all. I'd say they now last longer but perhaps aren't as intense (mean intensity is lower however median is probably the same). I don't miss it, due to the health trouble it did give me toward the end, but if I could go back to before the OP I would

No, I don't think it's that, I certainly washed my junk enough. Smegma is pretty natural and it's not a competition.

I was mostly telling my story because the person I replied to said that everything was from subjective people. We're identical, as far as we can tell, we were dichorionic diamniotic we think (our mum didn't look too closely) but we are more alike than a lot of identical twins are so we're putting our money on that.

Im circumcised. I got it done in August 2012. im fairly open about it. I was 21years old. I suffered little to no pain and only mild discomfort for 4-6 weeks following the operation. That is to say I was sexually active before, and have been since the operation. How do I find it/did I find it? Pre circumcision I was happy, I had good healthy solo sex life, and good healthy couples sex life and on one occasion triples sex life. Then I got phimosis for unknown reason and this less to the circumcis…

You're right about "we shouldn't be legalizing it"! But I can see why she has said it. I may come from a different moral background to you, but personally I don't think it's the worst crime you can commit. I personally think torture and serious abuse (form of torture) are worse
/r/MensRights23/12/13 02:32 PM

The majority of comments here say nothing of the women in these situations. If somebody is DRIVEN TO MURDER by the abuse of their partner then something is seriously wrong. We should be asking WHY this woman wants to make murder legal rather than saying she's insane for wanting that!

The people in this thread defending men who beat their wives need to tale a long hard look at themselves. I don't believe women should be allowed to get away with murder, we need to do more to defend those women and get them out of those situations!

I work in a,Nursery, I see, first hand, everyday some of the victimisation men suffer. It's as bad as being female is my point and we should be a team, we're (mra and feminists) the only ones thinking about this, the fat cats aren't. We need to stop infighting and start promoting

What I'm going to have to do this, I'll get back to you with the results. I live in South London so it won't a be a fair reflection of life, but certainly those living in rougher regions.

Well you're right, lets ignore all the women that get raped too. My girlfriend is currently scared to walk home from the station late at night because of the people that shout and jeer at her as she walks along the road. We don't live in a shithole, it's a nice area, it's relatively safe and family friendly. It's worse elsewhere
/r/MensRights05/11/13 11:38 PM

Lol, so Men are victimized for being male? Men suffer the larger proportion of rape? No, it's swings and roundabouts and we should work together to fight the centralized government idealism which enforces these gender roles, break them down and be equal!

Feminists who want equality and mra who want equality. We should be pushing the same way, toward equality
/r/MensRights05/11/13 11:28 AM

We should be the same movement, we should be fighting for equality together. Not our own selfish wants, regardless of theirs, alone. Strength through togetherness?
/r/MensRights05/11/13 10:53 AM

It's supposed to. Some bits don't, but generally it does. Stop hating on feminism we're fighting the same fight. Don't tell me we're not because we should be hoping for total equality, not just benefits for men. Men have it easier than women in a lot of things, but not in others, we're here to point that out and make it even

I am actively doing it now so I'm living an oxymoron, I wonder how many of us there must be, it can't be that unusual. Some Feminists indeed have driven out the MRAs, and it's a shame, there was the need for a separate movement to promote these issues, outside of feminism. double plus ungood think I think you're trolling due to this sentence, what does it mean? Yes, you and feminists who berate people of the same side for not following you and you're unrealistic idea of society. Those who want s…

You can fight for equal men and women working with MRA and Feminism, I do, if you don't you're not trying hard enough, or don't want to. There are minorities that don't encourage it but that's such a sweeping statement it's like saying all men are rapists, all black people are criminals and all feminists don't encourage discussion. It's just wrong. We also tend to pretend MRA's like you don't exist too, but still that's all feminism thinks of us like
/r/MensRights04/11/13 11:32 PM
11

I think you're right, some of the feminism movement is wrong and hurtful. But you're confusing Men's Rights with Anti-feminism. What do we do to help ourselves by putting down those encouraging discussion on these subject areas? The feminists that do block discussion sessions, as you mention, need to take a long hard look at themselves and realise how hypocritical they are being.

Im not saying that. I never said anything about liberation. What im saying is they imply men cannot control their urges, whether musk or non Muslim and that os why their women need to wear it.

it's the same as in Islam, how women have to wear coverings so that their men can hold back their inner urges... ludicrous.

Balonitis Xerodermica Obliterans (sp?) I really didn't want to but my Doctors all said it was the best idea. I'm a medic and after carefully considering all the options I decided they were probably right. Sucks, but Oral sex is better

I had a circumcision last year. Having a foreskin>>>>>> no foreskin. Go fuck yourself bro. K thnx bye
/r/MensRights29/11/12 12:54 PM

WHY? Hospitals will give you a circumcision here if it's needed/wanted. It's covered on NHS usually! Why pay £100 for one when you can get it done properly and professionally at hospital! Also as a 22 y/o that had a circumcision when I was 21 I can say that there is absolutely no need for a child that young to have one other than for medical reasons. It takes away his right for his own decision.
