What is your opinion on Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard and the shift in public opinionI don’t see how anyone with any sense could listen to those tapes and think Depp was the abuser. Could you imagine behaving like that if you were actually scared? | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 07/12/25 10:57 PM

Scott Galloway on the masculinity crisis: ‘I worry we are evolving a new breed of asexual, asocial males’ | MenI like her but I agree. It’s just a sad fact that that’s how low the standard is. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 07/12/25 07:51 PM
Scott Galloway on the masculinity crisis: ‘I worry we are evolving a new breed of asexual, asocial males’ | MenThank you! Nice to see a left-wing woman that gets it. Why can’t we have more people like ShoeOnHead or Prim Reaper? | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 03/12/25 07:48 PM
Doordash SA girl has been arrestedI feel like a few years ago, even with the situation as it is, this thing would have played out differently. But I feel like there’s enough people at this point that have gotten so sick of all this stuff that it’s led to enough cultural pushback that the narrative of situations like this are sometimes different. | /r/MensRights | 27/11/25 12:29 AM
I’m a woman and I want to helpI don’t think that’ll ever happen, because ultimately the amount men who aren’t at least moderately gynocentric are still in the stark minority, and always will be a minority. What’s more likely is that enough younger men will low-key quit society that it may throw things into a flux, but who knows when that’ll be. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 03/04/25 06:27 AM

I’m a woman and I want to helpOne thing I would say is that many of us (not all) reject patriarchy theory entirely. This is important to understand because even supposedly reasonable feminists, and some socially aware “normies” will give lip service to men’s issues and acknowledge their suffering, but will still patronizingly frame it all from a perspective of “it’s the patriarchy doing it”, which still puts the blame on men and often brings in the whole “toxic masculinity” narrative. But most men’s advocates flatly reject t… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 31/03/25 08:27 PM
Is the term "Incel" still considered a slur here? It’s dumb to self-label with it, because you are asking for ridicule, but otherwise, it’s absolutely a slur, and I lose respect for anyone that uses it, because it reveals exactly how they feel about suffering men. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 30/03/25 06:08 PM
"Be strong for those that need it" a masculinity the left needs but refuses.I don’t agree with your general points, but I do agree that we badly need representations on the left of non-stereotyped, nuanced, three-dimensional masculinity. Back in the day, being a liberal man (I know it’s not the sane thing) didn’t equate to being weak. You had men that supported many of the things we support, but were still strong, tough as nails, & rugged. Jesse Ventura is one example of this, albeit to a cartoonish degree. Unfortunately the left today is so far removed from giving a mo… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 11/12/24 12:10 AM
Society needs to understand that men can easily be physically abused in straight relationshipsAll this is not to mention the non-physical, relational aggression that women can do and get away with too. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 09/12/24 08:11 PM
Joe Rogan Being a Female Pedo ApologistDon’t take this as me defending Joe, because believe me I think it’s disgraceful, but he’s kind of a product of his generation, this is the way a lot of Boomer guys (like many of our uncles) thought and they just have never changed. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 02/12/24 07:52 AM
r/CircMoms2 has been bannedI’m morbidly curious to see some of their “work”… but good, rare W for men. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 18/11/24 09:28 PM
Are there any LWMA's on youtube? I can't find anyThe Prim Reaper. She is the absolute best. I’m on a fan community of hers and correspond with her fairly often, and I can say firsthand there is no one more empathetic to men (from ANY political POV) I’ve ever encountered. Unfortunately, she’s not super active online because she’s very busy with a family and her work, but I still recommend her content greatly. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 06/11/24 01:18 PM

This website has an unhealthy obsession with incelsI think it’s stupid to self-identify as an incel, because you are asking for the mockery, but much of the time men get insulted/labeled as such against their will, and it’s sickening. It’s become a lazy catch-all slur in the same way that “woke” has become one for conservatives, and whenever I see somebody use it in a pejorative sense I immediately lose respect for that person. It drives me crazy seeing it all over social media, even with people I otherwise like. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 02/01/24 07:16 PM

Be more afraid of white nights than women themselvesI commend you sir, I’m also from the South, shit is rampant here. Where you are expected to hold the door for women (and ONLY women, because otherwise it’s “gay”). | /r/MensRights | 06/12/22 03:34 AM
Be more afraid of white nights than women themselvesWe have plenty of those fuckwads here in the South. | /r/MensRights | 06/12/22 03:31 AM
Be more afraid of white nights than women themselvesI’ve been all too guilty of this myself, although at least I didn’t use it to tear down others. | /r/MensRights | 06/12/22 03:30 AM

Canada's First International Conference on Men and Families is next week. PLUS: We're celebrating one year at Toronto's first domestic violence shelter for fathers and children. Ask Me Anything, this Tuesday, September 13 at 8:30pm EDTI can't speak to AVFM, I do not think HBR is "alt-right', although it has definitely frustrated me how much they've leaned into their An-Cap/Hardline Libertarian contrarian for the sake of being contrarian shtick the last couple of years, which is part of why I rarely watch their content anymore. | /r/MensRights | 14/09/22 01:03 AM

What political party do you think most MRAs align with?To add my comment there, I mean butting heads with other MRA’s of course. I’m with them on many things obviously, especially the general concept of gynocentrism in society, but I just have to overlook the market fetishism. For instance, universal healthcare is something that’s very important to me, and I’ve had some ugly arguments over that with some MRA’s, and well as the ideas of regulation, etc. MRA’s definitely for the most part aren’t “conservative” in the sense of being religious Trad-Cons… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 04/08/22 07:28 PM
What political party do you think most MRAs align with?In my experience most MRA’s are Libertarians/An-Cap’s. They tend to be fairly liberal socially (While also being anti-“woke”) but very far to the right on economics. I’m a rarity in that I’m a bit more conservative culturally (I’m also anti-“woke”, although I detest hardcore anti-wokists), but am center-left on economics. It’s probably the hardest part of being one myself, because it leads to a lot of arguments, and I feel isolated because of it sometimes. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 04/08/22 07:16 PM

How do I comment on HBR live streams?Sorry for the wait. I watch on YouTube. No not gunning for an out loud reading but I would like to participate in a stream chat. Extra question: In the recent stream about CAFE Alison mentioned talking to a guy about being kind to himself on discord. Is there anyway I can contact her or sometime else at HBR to tell my story? | /r/MensRights | 15/08/18 08:23 PM
