I'm Portuguese. It is illegal. Nobody does anything against it though, because not only it's hard to prove, but also because the justice system is extremely slow and doesn't compensate to anyone (like in the US) to try to sue anyone. You would waste years and years and thousands of your money for at the end, maybe get compensated with the lawyer expenses and 80€ or something LOL. It's also illegal to offer jobs for only men or women. But it also happens.

Same in Portugal. When I was looking for a room on a shared flat a few years ago, for women only I could find awesome rooms for 200€, while the rest was like 350€/400€ for like a 4 square meter room.

Yea, that's the only reason this video to me kinda sucks. The motivation behind the cops in the beginning. To me that's a super weird thing about the US.
