If it helps, the books "Can't Hurt Me" by David Goggins and "12 Rules for Life" by Jordan Peterson really help. Rollo Tomassi's books are pretty critical as well, if you haven't read them already.

Statistical exceptions don't disprove general trends. This is like saying "I know a person who smoked a pack of cigarettes every day and still lived to be 100 years old", as if that's evidence that cigarette smoking doesn't decrease lifespan on average.

I agree with everything you're saying, but you're making the same point essentially, just from a different angle. The reasons a woman will "love" a guy are fleeting and ephemeral.

What percentage of women actually use or have ever regularly used dating apps? You say that most women on apps are like that, but are most women in general like that, or even a significant percentage?

Was the lawyer basing their advice on the laws of a particular state, or could this be applied generally in the US?

Can confirm, I used to be baffled that low to average SMV women would act haughtily or dismissive towards me while fairly attractive women would show interest, then it occurred to me that it's partially a "sour grapes" and resentful, narcissistic attitude adopted out of defensive insecurity.

I get the impression that people doing this type of "relationship" preach about how it's because they're "secure, trustworthy, and open minded", but it's usually just an excuse / rationalization in most cases.

But aren't a lot of the people who suggest to their partner being in open relationships, or even most of then, going about it in a deceitful and predatory way?

I'm sorry, I don't understand. Couldn't a genuinely attractive, high value woman have aton of betas around willing to provide her with validation and attention for free without committing to a relationship with them?
/r/askTRP22/03/21 01:31 AM

You should not ever be in a LTR with a woman like that. If you want to try to beat her at her own game, raise her interest, have her chase your validation, and use her as a plate, go ahead, just don't get emotionally attached.

/r/askTRP17/03/21 03:50 AM

Is that going to lead to a gigantic surplus of single, post-wall women who can't find guys who are up to their standards because they've been conditioned to vastly overestimate their SMV by internet validation?

Why is there so much hatred for people perceived to be on the spectrum on this subreddit? And this is commented directly below a post about advice to be a decent human being, caring about another's suffering, and being supportive. Why?...

That depends, although you definitely should NOT ever be in an LTR with a woman like that. If you'd prefer not to have any sort of interaction with someone with whom you can't "have an emotional connection with" and feel you can't / shouldn't with someone who's that much of a hoe, that's totally understandable. Just depends on what you're looking for, what your preferences are, what type of interaction or connection with the other person you want. If you want to use someone like that just for se…

I can't find the source for it right now, but I remember reading that something like 80% of both married men and women would be willing to cheat if they were 100% sure that they could get away with it. If you're asking why it's more common for women to cheat, like everyone else said, because they have way more opportunities on average.

Can't comment in everyone, but you definitely shouldn't ever LTR this woman, keep her as a bottom tier plate if anything.
/r/askTRP15/11/20 01:44 AM

It's possible for someone to have both, or at least traits of both. Narcissistic "co-morbidities" are very common for people with BPD.
/r/askTRP12/11/20 02:51 AM

So it was justified for her to deceive, manipulate, emotionally torture, and betray him because he didn't pay her enough or the right kind of attention? Why couldn't she have just ended the relationship before she started seeing other people? I'm struggling to understand any of this reasoning.

What you're describing from your dad's behavior sounds very "pathologically narcissistic" (like the symptoms of Narcissistic Personality Disorder). I don't know enough about your dad to know for sure, but that's definitely awful and toxic behavior from someone who sounds like they lack empathy.

Why do women think that "Getting attention" = "high value alpha men will commit at the drop of a hat"? I don't understand the connection, how thinking that because she has simps, orbiters, and [some] chads trying to get in her pants, that that represents what she can get to be in a relationship with her??

I have mostly been ignoring it because trying to call it out would result in him denying, playing the victim, implying I'm the one doing something wrong, and then doubling down on their bullshit in more covert ways. I would love to "embrace being the aggressor", but since I don't have the option of fighting him without losing my job and security clearance, anything I could say / do would just be playing into his hand. All that has happened is that he has become more subtle, and started triangula…

My response is to either to agree and amplify or to ignore / take their statements at face value. I would call it out in a heartbeat if this wasn't a no win situation with a sociopathic coworker. It's always wrapped in 12 layers of passive aggression and plausible deniability, so that if I did anything, I would be labeled the aggressor. Phenibut or kava can help ease the anxiety, though use phenibut sparingly. Viagra or cialis can help you get it up in spite of anxiety. Long term: meditation and deep breathing exercises can calm you down.

I don't know what might be going on in your body or brain that keeps you from getting it up. I had a similar experience the first time I almost lost my virginity. I've been taking cialis everytime since then before sex to make absolutely sure that anxiety or porn-induced insensitivity don't keep me from getting it up. The number of dates / amount of time beforehand is just something that has been used a proxy-indicator / correlate with whether or not a long-term "meaningful" relationship is possible and worth it. I wouldn't want to be in a relationship with someone who didn't place any value on sex beyond it being fun / feeling good, or who could effortlessly separate sex from emotion. In some ways, it's also incredibly barbaric and bass-ackwards in others.

The thing is though, that I don't understand, is there really isn't even a tiny shred of "plausible deniability". Anyone age 12 and up will see the real meaning in an instant. Plausible deniability justifications / anti-slut-defences are mostly just absurd, bold-faced lies, so what's the point? Only incredibly naive or pathologically lying people actually believe it.

Cut out porn, and if possible, try getting either cialis or viagra off the internet so that you can bridge the gap in the meantime. Cialis is way better / safer and has fewer side effects. A lot of online vendors won't sell to people under 18, but if you buy it as a peptide, or from certain sites, they won't even verify. I had the same experience the first time I almost lost my virginity, and while I don't have the same issue anymore, I always bring cialis or viagra just in case.

I discovered from reading / googling his various behaviors online that he likely had some variation of "Borderline Personality Disorder" with narcissistic and antisocial ("sociopathic") traits. Being around him was extremely draining and would cause me a great deal of emotional (and by extension: physical) pain. His entire life consisted of coming home from work, meeting up with his cheating whore of an ex (who had previously given him chlamydia), and sitting on the couch having arguments with h…

Some of them have deep-seated abandonment or attachment issues, those were the main reasons a guy I used to know acted that way. He couldn't tolerate being alone or without sex, so he pathologically lied to himself about how he "loved" a cheating, sociopathic whore who was just using him. As far as other reasons, I'd imagine there's a lot of mental imbalance, low self-esteem, lack of other options / women to choose from, and ego investment in a misguided "blue pill" view of things.

Do women like that end up losing in the end? By having standards that are higher than what they can attract / get to commit to them and by "pricing themselves out of the market"?

"How much do you cost?" Seriously though, if someone flat-out asks that, you do NOT want a relationship with them, and you might very well be dealing with a cluster-B woman / individual.

You can at least not be "mean" / outright rude to them, but don't have to kiss their asses either. If they're not up to your standards, don't abuse them right back, just remain polite and keep interaction to a minimum (or walk away if you can't force yourself to not be negative). I know it can be tempting to throw their bullshit right back in their faces, but try thinking of doing that as "sinking to their level" or something that would be "beneath you". I have this same dilemna when sluts hit…

Isn't having a "male friend" / orbiter a red flag? Or has it been grudgingly accepted that since almost all women have orbiters or some kind that it just comes with the terroritory?

I'm not sure to what degree the first part of this video applies to your situation, but on the off chance it helps, here goes. Why be in a long-term relationship with someone who behaves in a narcissistic and sociopathic manner towards their interactions with men / the opposite sex? If she's maintaining a harem of orbiters / backup plans, and has a social media following of thirsty dudes, isn't that good enough reason to NOT be in a LTR with her?

Not necessarily. I have a "baby face" and a square jawline, so I can appeal from both ends. 1) Appearing 'cute' / like a genuinely 'good guy' and 2) like someone with high levels of testosterone and genetic viability

A lot of people on here say that women keep "orbiters" around as potential emergency dick, and while it isn't very common, it does happen sometimes. One of my old teachers / college instructors was friends with a woman FOR 8 YEARS before finally working his way into a relationship and eventually marriage with her. It's an incredibly pathetic and low-percentage strategy, but it does happen.

Make a plan for getting a new place to live, whatever that entails (working a 2nd job for awhile, finding a new roomate, crashing at an understanding friend or family member's place, etc). Failing that, have as little interaction with this person as possible. If this person doesn't have power over you beyond sharing rent costs / a lease, then have an 'adult conversation' with them about their behavior that negatively affects you. If setting reasonable boundaries (like "don't pick fights with me"…
